Up throughout night Bc of bad thigh pain Bc of TOM. I think due to all the anxiety I had and everything else going on is what contributed to my body being so outta whack this month. All is looking up though. Still home at parents, I may try to go back tomorrow. Doing laundry now and will have to clean the bathroom here before I go back to my apartment. So possibly I will see if my mom can drop me off there on her way to work tomorrow (like my dad, she also coincidentally works like a mile or 2 from my apartment)...

If I do go home, I will need to go food shopping and get used to driving...tomorrow is a day I would go to the gym, but I could always go to the gym near my parents tomorrow if I decide not to go home tomorrow morning...doesn't really matter but it would be good to try to get back on track a bit and get into driving soon.

My boss actually said if I get a doctors note that he could pay me past my vacation days for the extra time I am out - for the moment, anyways. So I am trying to get the doctors note rather than spend my savings...my mom seems to think that I should def get the Drs note if it means my work will pay me while I am still not there and out of days. My last vacation day is today.

9:30am Breakfast: orange 100, toast 100, peanut butter 200, 2% Greek yogurt 150, lots of cinnamon. 550.

12pm snack: fruit 100, chocolate 150. 250.

Finally cleaned bathroom and also did the remaining laundry that I figured I might as well do so that everything is clean and maybe tomorrow I will go back to my apartment now that everything is cleaned up a bit.

3pm snack: couple hazelnut chocolates 150

4:30pm 150 crackers


Total around 1650 most. 40 min walk.

Gonna have a lower cal day today. Will be preparing salad for my parents and myself for dinner and my dad will be bringing home a rotisserie chicken from the supermarket.

Progress as of today: 7 lbs lost so far, only 4 lbs to go!

In the office I work in probably around 150-200 people. In the field, we have around 2,000 electricians. We also have a few other (2-3) offices with probably around at least 50 people at each one, if not more closer to 100.

Snack: juice before gym 100

After gym snack: iced decaf coffee 50

Lunch: leftovers, chicken and broccoli 300 or so? And some bread 100? And a few bites of my moms lunch 100? Around 500

1050 or so, good.

Could have ended the day better but we went out to eat to celebrate my sister's 30th bday and I indulged in some bread and had dessert pie and an Italian cookie back at home. Prob around 2000-2200 cals.

Good thing is that I had a good workout at the gym in the AM.

Progress as of today: 7 lbs lost so far, only 4 lbs to go!

Snack: decaf iced coffee 80 from Dunkin donuts free Bc I had a birthday coupon

Lunch: tortilla chips 160 with avocado 100, chicken and broccoli in sauce 250 def not more, Apple 90 600 total, good.


Prob around 1600-1700 today. Good. Pretty healthy.

Rested all day yesterday and took a nice walk today in morning with a break at library halfway thru. It was around an hour walk. Left ankle is getting stronger and I am starting to feel better overall. I am still battling some weakness in my ankle though and still trying to get used to adding in more physical activity on a more regular basis. I am debating taking one more week off from work for a total of 4 straight weeks off since sept 17th instead of 3 total weeks. Reason is because I find the time off important for doing things at my own pace and schedule before getting back into the grind.

Around 120lbs this morning, but not lower. These last 5lbs will take some effort, for sure. Not really eager to fast any time soon. Any time I usually throw in those really low cal days, even 1200-1400, I tend to lose easily. Lol, it's just not that easy to always eat like that! Anyways...

Glad I went to the dr and got the Rx for my stye yesterday. It's already getting better..

8am Breakfast: first I had some cut up cantaloupe 100...then had some extra carbs two slices toast with almond butter 400. Total 500. Green tea

Earlyish snack 10am: Greek yogurt with cinnamon 150 Rest of green tea


12pm big lunch: salad with avocado 150, eggplant in some kind of sweet oil sauce 100, potatoes 150, sautéed mushroom and onion 50. Dessert crackers and gave into a Klondike ice cream bar 400 total 850. Oops and some chicken, not much, but in a sauce. 150? But prob more for the chicken All leftovers.

1650, fine. Really wanted that lunch splurge..

Around 2050-2150 total cals and no exercise.

Calories per day for the past 8 days including today average at 1775/day. I am really trying to keep my weight stable into the teens and try to nudge it to stay below 120 because then my goal will have been reached and will feel better about the wedding and that I don't have to really lose weight for it. I know I probably sound very anxious.

Total empty this morning before drinking or eating, I weigh 119. So I guess I can reach my goals after all...I will be buying a scale for my apartment. Still at parent's house. Btw, any new folks, I am short not even 5'2" so a weight goal of 115 is far from being too low :) and when I reach that weight, it will have been the first time in approx 8 years. I am 33 now and last time I weighed that was early fall of 2007.

8:30am Breakfast: fiber one 120, milk 80?, Craisins 150 - 350-400.

Snack pb 100

1pm lunch: leftover Indian food chicken in a lot of sauce 450? and a roll 150, grapes 100 700

Bar before gym and some of an energy drink, it was close to 5:30 but I had not gone to the gym yet 150

Dinner: some dried fruit and protein bar 250

1600 total.

Have a darn stye in my eye so now I am suddenly busy this afternoon Bc I don't want it getting worse. I am planning to go to the walk-in clinic here and get a prescription. Other option is to go home tomorrow and use the prescription I already have at my apartment. But that means I need to wait until tomorrow which is probably not the best idea Bc the stye will get worse overnight...so now I am going to take a darn taxi and pay for an urgent care visit and a new prescription and go the the gym (everything's walking distance once I get into the retail part of town).

Everything took a bit longer than expected with the dr and Rx so I worked out a bit later and came home around 8:15. I finally walked from the gym home and called a nice friend for the walk :) a friend I usually don't call but I know she could relate to my panic attacks and we spoke about it. Was good.

Came home and on the way I bought a protein bar. So I ate it for dinner around 8:30 with a few pieces of dried fruit. Not a good meal, but good calories. Tomorrow I will not have any protein bars.

Once again left with dad when he left today in the morning at 6:30 today.  He dropped me off at my apartment before he drove to work (less than 5 min away from where I live).

Once I was home, I was more motivated than last week. I showered pretty early on & then went and did the small amount of laundry that was sitting in my apartment for two weeks (the two weeks I've been home with my folks).  I also brought any clothes I needed to wash from my parents house (I have a small collection I leave there & now i'm actually bringing a few more things back there so I don't need to always pack clothes to bring home & instead i'll always have clothes already at my house to wear lol).  Just includes an extra pair of lounge pants & maybe an extra t-shirt.

Also, I cleaned up my card drawer and stamp/letter label drawer in my desk. Good thing I did! My friend asked me if I have Christmas cards as she was looking to give them to her mom. And well, it turns out I have a TON of them from different non-profit organizations that contact me for donations. Even though I donate about 1-2 times a year, I still get tons of labels and cards from these companies.  So, I'll give my friend all my extra cards to give to her mom.  Also, I found a birthday card not used for my mom.  It's specifically a card I picked out, only for a mother. glad I found it - now I don't have to purchase one for her in November!  Sometimes I do this - I buy a card for someone in my family or a close friend and then forget I did - and buy another one. Now everything's organized :)

It didn't take long to clean out those two drawers...

After cleaning up a bit, I went thru my mail, not much. After that, I decided it was time to put extra money on my laundry card specifically because i'm off from work and right now the only way to put money on a laundry card here at my apartment complex is to go to the main office, which is only open weekdays from 8-4:30, maybe 5pm.  So, only on a day off does this work for me!  So whenever I have a chance, I stop in there.  Otherwise, I have to mail it to them - which they don't like and tell me that they aren't responsible if it gets lost coming back in the mail...lol...old school laundry cards over here. I think they are looking to get a laundry card machine so that we can start putting money on our cards 24/7, and not worry about being able to stop by the office only during business hours.

Later, my dad is driving me to my doctor's appointment which starts at 3pm for the therapist I believe and 4pm for a quick visit to the psych.  I plan to tell the psych that I still feel a little out of myself, that I haven't tried to drive in two weeks yet. I do need to start driving again soon.  I am almost ready, in my opinion.  Beginning to feel a lot better.

My boss' birthday is today. I have stayed in touch with him for these two weeks that I've been off from work (exactly two weeks today).  He invited me out for his birthday with one other male.  Boss is around 66-67 and the other guy is around 50-55 I think.  I was thinking to go, but then it doesn't make too much sense I don't think as I haven't driven lately...also, maybe not that comfortable going out with both of them.  So, i'll turn the offer down. It was a change to get out of my zone and do something new, but maybe not the best choice anyways.  Best stick to my own schedule while not at work, I think.  I live pretty close to work, half hour no traffic and like 40-45 min with some traffic. And the restaurant is same distance or so away - well - probably not more than half hour - but i'm not going.


Exercise: around 20 min walk

Breakfast: bar chocolate collagen protein, kombucha, sucking candy 320

Lunch: wrap with veggie patty (whatever was in my apartment, didn't go food shopping) 200, salmon jerky 100 300


Dinner: big salad with avocado and vinegar 200 at most, chicken soup leftovers - still back at parents house - big chicken soup noodles around 200, beans 100, chicken 200, veggies and broth 150?

Total around 1450-1500. Good.

Still home with my family for almost 2 weeks now. Trying to get motivated to go back to my apartment sometime this week. i go back to work the week after next, taking one extra week unpaid. So I go back 10/13. Next week in my opinion is perhaps to soon...

Dinner: healthy pita around 200 at most, some grilled veggies and shrimp 100, feta cheese maybe 150?, salad 50 at most...500.

1550 big success. Really trying since I am not working it's easier for me. But when I go back to work I also resolve to stay healthier as well.

I am still with my parents but did go to the gym here. Paid for the day and took a taxi for $5 there.

Def enjoying time with my family very much. I have never felt the feeling of just wanting to sit in the same room as my folks for long periods of time just relaxing. This is very new for me. I used to long to be by myself back at my apartment. I am very glad I have my parents to help me during this time but I hope to begin to feel better at my place too :) Thanks Maria!

I really am still weighing 121lbs this AM. Wow! Debating a slight fast today till a bit later.. I did already have fruit in order to take some medicine.

8am Breakfast: fruit 150

8:45 leftover okra and onions in a tomato based sauce from Indian food last night 250 at least...maybe even 300 but it wasn't very oily.

12pm light lunch, leftovers again from Indian restaurant, this time lamb, not a lot, in a spinach sauce. Around 450

3pm crackers 150

4:40pm banana and pb 200

Dinner prob not more than 450

1650 and went on approx 40 min walk with parents in evening before the late dinner of vegetable soup with some beans.

Still legs giving pain but it's better I am trying to get more active and who knows it seems I am less sore today in the glutes or maybe not at all. Because I took so much time off exercise, I was getting sore in glutes after walking. But that is regular soreness that doesn't concern me. My only concern is for my left ankle to improve and leg to not be right and for burning in both shins (which may be half mental ?) to go away. I did take Saturday and Sunday off from walking.

And I really did weigh 120 this AM !! Before breakfast, body totally empty. Didn't think I'd reach that this month! Wow. For sister's wedding 4/2 my ultimate goal is around 115. Not much lower or not even lower if I don't want to bc it gets unhealthy at that point. :)

On and off... On weekend I took the two days off because Saturday I did weights and was nervous I would re-Injure myself if I didn't include some rest for recovery....still nervous about it.

On another note, I am glad my folks like to walk !!!!

Went as a guest with my dad to his gym for a weights upper body workout. He likes to go really early in the morning and actually left later to go with me. We got there at 7:30am. Hadn't done one in just shy of two weeks. Felt good getting it in - I didn't lose too much strength either. Got dizzy at times but worked thru it.

Progress as of today: 5 lbs lost so far, only 1 lbs to go!
