Snack: 150 coconut whey protein bar

Lunch: 600 most all healthy. - white meat chicken with a little skin, balsamic dressing over cooked cabbage, some chips. overall it's healthy mix of protein, fats, carbs.

1250 before dinner...can't wait for sleep...i am so tired after lunch.

Dinner out with my parents for my bday, meeting up with them after work: probably a GOOD diner, maybe shrimp or fish?

1900 was Wednesday's total.




I am feeling in a very positive & good mood this morning.

Why? Well, I had a good workout. Sleep wasn't the worst at all. Did wake up a couple times but I'm very content overall.  I had a chat with my "Aussie Friend" (different man - yes, he lives in AUSTRALIA). what are we? we are friends, known each other 7-8 years.  We did meet online on quite a "risque site."  But we have become friends with benefits in the digital age & i see myself as his friend maybe even for life.

We are the same age, I'm older by only a few months or so. So we had a hot chat. Was nice. Texting usually. Lots of photos we send of us, also of our surroudings, things we see, our environments. Nice man. He has a really interesting job. It's offshore. He works on like an oil rig in the middle of the ocean. Sleeps there. really different type of job. Good pay.

So he may work weeks or like a month straight, then weeks or month off. Very interesting job. Demanding job when he is working. He also takes classes & studies quite a bit when he isn't working. He already has two homes, couple cars.  His other home when he isn't living in Western Australia is Bali. Yep, he's a cool guy. :)  LIke i've said, we've known each other maybe 8 years now...i know a lot about him.

lol thank you Annie. it's always a good time with him...it works out well as the hour difference is 12hrs.

so...if it's 7am here, it's 7pm there...good time for texting

He must be western Australia? I have inlaws there and sometimes we skype. When we are in Thailand in the winter I Skype my granddaughters and it's 12 hours difference.

At work leftovers which were darn good (didn't have time in morning to make my sandwich after i showered & got dressed...but man did i do good at work!

Morning tasty breakfast: toast with butter 150, with sardines 100, pretzels 200: 450. tea. just can't have any more coffee right now.

excellent. this was i had brought some pudding i made last night for breakfast....but couldn't deal having any more sweet things this AM.

snack: banana 150

lunch: cabbage salad made with cooked cabbage and added dressing...lotta balsamic vinagrette dressing but so tasty!!!!!! 250 tops, some meat 100 tops i think, rest of the pretzels above, small amount of a can of energy drink for later no cals. 400 or so for lunch. maybe 450.


snack before gym: granola bar & energy drinki 100.


after gym: maybe ice cream....! and pudding. yuo. 350.

Working on getting back on track now.  Last night I sorta binged a little.  Got lots on my mind to take care off.  I'm proud of myself overall.

Dentist visit went well, no cavities, no problems.

I wrapped my gift for Sam, my boss, who retires & had his bday on 9/30/16.  It's so perfect looking. I'll give it to him on his birthday. I'll have to post the pics here for you to day. So proud of myself for getting him this thoughtful gift. I did good.

Went to bed late because I was up ordering my dad's bday gift, using my own Sear's gift cards to get myself a new heater for work bc mine broke today!!!, and also bought some bed sheets / pillow cases & a t-shirt. Everything cost $110, but I had a $100 gift card! wahoo! 

I need to pick up an office card for everyone at work for Sam's retirement. I also need to pick up a gift card for my sister's bday (it's what she wants)....I will maybe pick up BOTH on the weekend / Friday. or maybe tonight for the card...i need to find one of those big ones. I keep forgetting - i know the stores already that have them.

This weekend is a good friend's surprise bachelorette party Sunday - i need to both wrap her gifts and write the card...working on getting organized. 

My best friend's bday is th 24th. I will see her the 25th but may not give her her gifts on that day....not sure. I need to think of something for her still. Only got her a magnet so far with a saying of "Don't let anyone steal or sparkle" i think....? i forget exactly but it's good. She got me a $20 Dunkin Donuts gift card but i wanted to do something better... i do have a card for her.

My sister's bday is TODAY. Dad's is 10/8.  Think I have enough going on!

Yes, my boss was good to me :-D I used to not like him lots my first couple years, that changed over time. He always wants the best for me. He understands me. Good man. Some people may take him the wrong way, like he's racist, etc,, but i understand him. He was born and raised in Israel, old school, he's 67 now...i think turning 68 actually!

she got me the gift yes...i must put it in my wallet...already could have used it 1x! but paid cash! :)

i will miss my boss a ton :/

Home: kombucha, seltzer with stevia. and half banana 120.trying to fix all the rumbling in my stomach..."TOM" is really getting my insides in a bunch! LOL. sorry all. ...may need extra bananas today, bought a couple ripe ones last night just in case since i only had green ones at home. lol.

Breakfast: wrap with cream cheese extra 200, salami too 100. and some coffee but not feeling it 30 most. 330

Looking forward to a hopefully FAST day at work!  with dentist appt after at 5:15pm. i can leave at my normal time of 4:30 in order to get there on time which is GREAT.


I had a really late workout session last night, ending after 8pm at the gym. That workout, in combo with caffeine around 5pm, and endorphins and all the side effects of a late workout, had me up almost the entire night. It's ok though - because sleep was awesome over the weekend. I also know that i'll make up for lost sleep tonight :) I may take a pill, after my dentist appt at 5:15 till like 5:45 and hopefully home around 6. Dentist is for a cleaning. :)

Although the weekend was busier and i didn't sleep well last night, I'm overall VERY HAPPY about how the entire weekend played out. I saw lots of good friends, had extra laughs, did laundry easily, was productive overall, even studied for 45 min...got an excellent gym session in. Really, it was a wonderful weekend. i wouldn't have changed a thing...These next two weeks until Friday, Sept. 30th are going to be busy.

This week I have the dentist tonight, gym tomorrow, wed off !, thurs gym..Sat gym i think?, sunday a bachellorette party and home tad late before work next monday...

Next monday i have a therapy appt after work, tues gym, thurs gym...and friday will be a party or maybe before (during work) for my boss' retirement!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so sad. then he's gone. lots of changes at my workplace after he leaves. I will be affected.

After the 30th, it's the Jewish holidays. Saturday Oct 1st i'll catch up on laundry & go to gym. Sunday i'm with my family and will probably sleep over into Monday. Tuesday gym? maybe an extra chill day. Monday i'd go visit my grandma with my dad...although i doubt he would do that on the holiday... Things slow down a bit when October arrives. I will go to Texas (San Antonio and Austin) with 4 friends from 10/20 thru 10/24! Excited and nervous at the same time :) It should be GREAT!

will try my best...your advice is good. Working in the NYC tri-state area with little vaca time is what it is, you know? one day i'll have it more my way....

even when i enter the NYPD, after the academy, if i do feel sick time to time or i feel the need for a few extra days off, I will take them & not worry. I will once again have the 2 weeks vaca with NYPD for 5 years...until I'm practically 40 yrs old. So i need to care for myself...and take the days as i need for vaca and not worry what people say. If i were in this industry from 21, say, I'd already have 3 weeks vaca at least....and with the cop thing, like 4 weeks vaca by 34yrs old...so i'm saying i'll need to take care of my health i guess...

I do appreciate your thoughts. I plan to have LOTS of extra downtime during the Jewish holidays to relax at home (since i haven't made plans yet & most of my friends work anyways...my best friend will have to deal with me not wanting to get together)...i realize i can't just run around straight until the Texas trip...NO GOOD. so i am planning on rest, YES :) thank you Fran!

I remember back before retirement when I hit the gym just after 5pm. Don't know how I did it! Now it's workouts in the morning or not at all.

Yes...i do it because i have no choice. Definitely will NOT get up earlier than i do now (5:00-5:30am) so gym after work is what i do. It feels better for me at night too, because i'm not rushed to go to work.

Yes, i know it takes some mental strength to keep the workouts but it's so worth it :) because of how it shapes the body & the confidence that comes with it.

I actually don't think i'm a busy person by nature, which is why i was up all night last night trying to come off the "high" of the weekend...but it's nice to have these plans lately. So thankful for my friends. Multiple friends...for different purposes. NICE FRIENDS. i love not having to worry about anything :) like judgement or misunderstandings. i have GREAT friends....sorry for this long rant.

by the end of the weekend, i thought about how it was different & i had seen & done more with friends and also solo activities for myself...and how i was thankful for all the opportunities and productivity :)

most of a banana and energy drink 100....before gym now it's late but gotta go. have period i would say thankfully....hopefully it'll come next month around this day....right before my trip so that it's on the way OUT while on the trip! but if not, fine! :)

after workout protein bar and aloe drink couple jellos 320, more ice cream 250 most.

1520 tops. good.

1,775 weekend avg. excellent. plan to keep it this way this week. Need a could lower calorie weeks now. Will be doing the right thing from now thru end of October.


organizing things at home, food shopping, other errands, vaccuumed my car, cleaned car small spaces with dirt buildup on inside with alcohol and q-tips :) it looks so much nicer now on the inside! car is 2009....so stuff , dust, hard to clean dirt settles around dashboard devices, gear shift, and parking break that even at the carwash they dont clean well which is why i vaccuummed and did it myself :-)  was my first time cleaning it this well with qtips in all the crevices & was a good approach - will do again when it needs it!

gonna shower, do laundry & study for Notary test on 10/13/16.  Studied for 45 min which is good...will keep reading over notes on Sunday.

1050 before dinner and get together at my friend's place for trip planning...

At Renee's: tons of veggies at least 200, seltzer with stevia, some roasted sweet potatoes around 200?, and a big chicken sausage with some feta in it...can't be healthy at most 400.

Was home at midnight & very proud of myself for not eating when i was home. We did eat late at around 8pm which is why i was able to hold off. Took a sleeping pill, fell asleep on couch by like 1am. Then woke around 3am and went to my own bed and slept till 9am. NICE.

For the past month or so, calorie avg has been a bit higher in the 1900's instead of 1700's or 1800's. I am feeling like i gained a little. or i'm bloated & PMSing. Or both. UGH!


Partied again last night after work a couple coworkers and I went to happy hour...happy hour is good because it's early and not out till all hours of the night! ...thankfully home by 10pm & in bed shortly after. lol so no shower since Thursday night! haha...gonna do that shortly. it's almost 11am now.  

I slept from around 11pm (or maybe closer to 10pm) until around 9am. excellent sleep, especially because i only slept 4hrs most the night before !  

Food was good at Happy hour...actually healthy. I ate a lot because it was so good. Lots of veggies, in some tasty garlic butter sauce & shrimp and pepper kabobs. Excellent food. It's a Dominican / Caribbean place by my work called Crazy Willy's.  It's an excellent bar & restaurant. Oh...and you can't beat the Happy Hour prices either!...so cheap for SO MUCH FOOD. Others paid only $30 each for tons of food and drinks...mine was $40 but so worth it ... 2 drinks, a side, a meal, and extra veggies on top of that. decent for it, i'd say.

Lunch: dept ordered tasty wraps....i had some cooked cabbage (of my own that i made in morning in work microwave LOL!) with mustard...maybe i guess 50 cal...and then i guess 1 wrap (they were cut up but i took 4 pieces?) 250-300 cal and cold cuts a bit of them 200? 550-600 for lunch. tasty.

1100 or less after lunch...good...dinner will be at a bar...but i know they have good food! because i was there...gonna have lots of peppers / mushrooms! and it should be cheap prices - happy hour :-D

Big dinner: drinks 400 cal or more,

1500... Huge dinner at least 700-800.


7day avg = 1930/day = decent!//


Showered around 10:30pm last night. And that was my last shower till tonight or who knows maybe Saturday morning....

Finally went to bed at 2am.  Up before 6am. 

Got dressed sorta quickly once i got my act together. no shower. did it last night.

got to work 5 min late & cooked shredded cabbage that i forgot to bring home last ngiht in the microwave at work & then put makeup on in the work bathroom. there's free lunch for my dept and i feel TOTALLY UNSOCIAL. Like i want to talk to anyone!? i want to be left alone. I'm fed up. Angry. Life is annoying me...with needing to do things that I don't want to do or care to do........I'm NOT HAPPY and don't feel i have enough freedom lately. 



Was overly pissed off at my mom / parents / life situation concerning the planning of when we are getting together for the upcoming Jewish holidays. I had asked my family early on so that I would also be able to spend the long weekend (4 days I get for the Jewish holidays which begin in October) with also my friends as I'm single and like to see my friends as I don't see them nearly enough.

It can go easily a month between seeing the majority of them. I have few and it stinks to not see them enough but I'm content with my schedule - USUALLY - and will not give the gym up or quit a session over USUALLY seeing friends (would rather do my routine & feel good about my body in clothes, etc.) 

My mom didn't agree with my thinking (but I am an adult, 34, and am totally entitled to my own decisions). She told me I shouldn't choose getting together (the plan was apple picking no less - big event - for my friend Christine's 34th bday which she really wanted with two other people at least...) mom told me i shouldn't be placing a get together above being a JEW! I don't agree at all. We celebrate usually one full day / night together out of the 2 nights. It's a 4 day weekend.  I may just decide now that's all i'll be doing - I'm sick of coming up with any more plans. I had to cancel with my friends bc of reasons i understand on the day my mom chose and she does the majority of cooking / work for the holiday - i will help...but still i do get her...it stinks it had to be sunday - the day we were going to go apple picking.

Apple picking can't be easily switched to another day. EVERYONE is busy and it's complicated. Driving out to apple pick is far...i don't want to do it the night before a week of work (we were thinking to rechedule on Monday, Columbus Day, when we're off...but i'd prefer not to be out late before Tuesday work...) I am sick of running around...

So whatever. I don't care for any more planning. My dad's bday is 10/8 and i told my mom that since she insists i do as she pleases and not to make any plans for myself or schedule my own life, that she can tell me what we are doing & what day for my dad...that i'm out of it.  I'm seriously done.

Had an argument with my mom over phone texting about this.

I told her i'm adult and not a bad jew if i choose to see my friends one day of the weekend or if I choose to split the holiday over the religious stuff with my family and then hanging out with my friends. It's a4-day weekend. I don't get too many of those. I'm an adult & can choose how & what I'm going to do with my freedom and adult social life outside of work.

My mom didn't have a good comeback and actually ended with saying good night. Sorry but I'm SO RIGHT this time & I know it. 

And now my plans are cancelled. I had contacted my family FIRST regards to the holidays because i wanted to make sure i'd be Apple picking with friends too...apparently even early on planning didn't work out since my mom and sister were not in agreement with getting together Monday instead of Sunday. which i understand...but i thought we were all off the 4 days. Maybe they work Tuesday? i don't know. doubt it though.

You can pick your friends but you can't pick your family.... Everything will work out it usually does do not waste all your energy on negativity it will drive you crazy let it play out. I just wish I still had my mom to argue with but I don't and I miss that all the bad times are all unimportant now but sure wish I could have one more round at it with my understanding of today older and wiser... lol Have a great day J.

head was feeling foggy and just drained this week it seems. 

digestion iffy because i got up late and didn't have time to complete my routine so all stuffed up at work stinky....and may even stop home before the gym tonight as it's basically on the way....to use the bathroom. i hate feeling this bloated way. maybe bc TOM is coming....

just feeling pulled and torn. - Feeling like YES, i am an adult....but i have no say over most of what's going on in my life - work and family negative stuff went on today. but it's all over. tomorrow's a new day & looking forward to the weekend.


I also gained a little weight.  but maybe most of the weight is bloating from my period coming in like 4 days? could be. I also have been having more salt i think.

definitely bloated today. even my jeans are tight.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The workday day ended poorly. I worked OT 2.5 hours and didn't know i would be until i was asked to - and it took me that long to finish my work (partially bc i had been working slowly - thankfully i left the office for a 10 min walk in the afternoon around 3pm - glad i did that now). I worked 11 hours today. FAR TOO MUCH for me. We don't get paid anymore in my company for Overtime Hours, but we can bank the hours and use them later - which I AM satisfied with & don't mind not being paid as I def want / need to leave early sometimes.  

 1870 - 6day avg...excellent.

Happy to bring the calories down. Tomorrow lunch is being ordered, but i'll be prepared with extra cabbage i think...it's already in the fridge prebagged and shredded but i gotta microwave it - smell up the work kitchen! i was supposed to bring it home tonight & cook it here at home but forgot.

6:30am: Sparkling vinegar and some seltzer with stevia 30

Breakfast at work(late again due to traffic and problems on road / accidents - must leave earlier at 7:15am if i don't want to be late!) wrap 100, cream cheese 100, lox 100, energy drink 0. most of a banana 120

Snack maybe - bar ? natural bar. moderate carb, fat, protien. totally natural.

Lunch: all healthy, 550 tops. veggies, toast, some turkey meatballs. not feeling great, really tired. going home to bed.

4:30pm plum on way home 50

trying to remember what i had for dinner: chips 150, some roasted eggplant 100, protein muffin 240, jello 60...550...i am not sure if i had anything else.

1800 or so.

5-day avg: 1920


12:30pm Afternoon update: feeling extremely tired and low energy - told coworkers that i'm not coming down to lunch in cafeteria - gonna eat at my desk....gotta get outta here by 4:30pm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't sleep well last night..up most of night...and now regretting it....i am so tired....feeling slightly sick too...my throat is better bc i took congestion medicine which is what might be making me feel low energy? will have carbs at lunch.


but go home and read or something...my brain is so bored...been doing nothing

Cute my brain is bored... lol not to sure what that means. I guess I enjoy it when my brain is totally at rest and not running at 150% like when I was working. Have a great day J.

ahhh...it's bored of the monotony but more important lately to me is relaxing....but i like to read and stuff...just not doing much after work lately...

Sparkling vinegar drink (i love it) flavored blueberry & ginger by LIVE 30 cal

Bigger breakfast at work: wrap 100, cream cheese 100, salami 100, and banana bigger 120, no coffee, a sparkling Bai drink instead for 5 cal.

snack: 130 caramel nut chew by Atkins, coffee with milk and equal 50 (getting extra sick of coffee lately i don't want it tomorrow)

Healthy lunch: turkey meatballs 200, and too much veggies maybe even 350

snack before gym: 150 caffeine  and fiber 1 bar, later an amino blend at gym 50.  200.

after gym: protein muffin 240, half banana 60, pumpkin 50. 350-400.

1800 total today = excellent.

feeling down...i don't know why.

This entire Fall season (especially this month and next and the next = VERY BUSY. i have get togethers and parties, family birthdays, and a trip....it's a bit much but i am excited about it! This weekend I am planning on Happy Hour after work with a couple coworkers, but, lower key on the actual weekend. Need it slow. So i don't think I will have plans besides errands and chores and gym on Saturday / Sunday.


must make some jello in the morning for Wednesday night :)

I don't like it really...it's a bit much and for instance...i don't want to see my good friend on the weekend...i don't want to give her my free time (only person i do want to see is a guy lol)

but i'm getting thru. i realize i have far less worries than most! :)

snack: NONE :)

lunch:  toast 100, lil bit chicken 100?, veggies with a little sauce 150: 400 TOPS.

810...gonna make this a GREAT day- the end. & bed early.

big dinner but all veggies (indulged though) bc of sauce and stuff - around 800.

around 1650, most. excellent.

3-day average: around 2000, good.

no exercise, bed early.

i got busy and my mind was finally off the food. that's the only reason :) sometimes a little busy is good for me in that way :) but RARE!
