3-day average is excellent: 1866 per day :-) (much lower compared with Saturday's 2250!)

6am Morning: Kombucha and only one bottle. GOOD. 60 cal (also the low cal type, extra good.)

8am: Work: Smallish banana 120 and coffee 50 & maybe a wrap later - don't want to have it now... 170.

Whenever i decide to eat the wrap: wrap 60 has lox 100 and cream cheese 140 most 300. 

Lunch was healthy: popcorn 120, tofu 100, veggies 100 320.

Totally full, but tired out. I am very addicted to caffeine right now...

Later, around 4:45 on my way to the dentist: coconut protein bar. 200 maybe with seltzer, not sure. .

Dinner bigger, but balanced: Eggplant Rolletes microwavable meal 350 or so, chips 60, peach 60, and additional chicken 150? just a few bites...so total here: 650 most.

total today: more than planned, but i'm fulll & satisfied and hope to sleep well tonight (no pill, it's too late to take one now). 1700 :-) def good.


i want another low cal day today. it's on my agenda! and this will happen folks! also, i will restrain from eating lots of veggies tonight at dinner. no good for me in the mornings when i eat too much at night....i don't want another week last the last couple!!!!!!!!!!!

I have the dentist after work which is awesome - teeth on bottom especially have small stains from my coffee drinking...good the dentist will clean it all away! yay..

despite sleeping pill, i did wake up several times last night but still got really good sleep anyways. I may not take a pill tonight. But, reason I've been taking them since Wednesday oh wow...didn't even realize it's been half a week of them... Friday is i wanted extra sleep...and it worked. 

I need to cut down on the caffeine a little bit.  Stilll I plan to have it before working out. But, I know i need to cut it out a bit..

I am already feeling anxious about this coming weekend - Father's Day...eating always gets me anxious - events with family & friends i mean!

back on track today!

Slept from10pm (i think?) till almost 8am! I do wish i were to have a week off now from work bc i really am enjoying the extra rest! lol....

8am Breakfast: Double chocolate mighty muffiin 220, banana 120, jello 20 360 :-)

11am snack: raspberries 120

Noon lunch: lox and cc on wrap 260, butter popcorn 160 = 420, and veggies 100 more.

1,000 :-)

2 candies during gym and a granola bar after gym 150... 1150...

dinner: frozen yogurt 150 after some soy chicken 200??? and veggies 150? - 500

1650. more than i planned for..and i should stop because i do want to stay leaner & drop to around 112-115.

Off to gym soon, gonna go early today & home early as well. Only need to pick up Bananas & wraps for the week. I am not even in the mood to go to Victoria's secret for their sale. I may wait to go until Thanksgiving for the next semi-annual. Sometimes being home is better than anything, ya know!? If i didn't have the gym to go to, I'd stay home all day today...just tired. must be the sleeping pills.

Such a lovely Saturday so far :-)

10am funny breakfast: breakfast muffin type thing 220, tons of sf jellos 100, tos of little bite-size bean crackers 230. total: 550 :-D...AND A BANANA 120.

Noon: butter popcorn 160 & raspberries also 120. 280 :-D tasty! and lots of seltzer with stevia today.

2pm meal: chips, 2 servings 230, and a cooked daikon with some sauce 100, more cooked bamboo shoots 100, and cooked seaweed 100 (bought this all from a vegan asian supermarket 5min away from where i live on Thursday on my day off!) total here is around 550.

1500 so far today. planning on 2000 again. was gonna eat low calorie, but i'm home & when does that ever work when i'm home!? lol. enjoying life today & pigging out on what i like to eat. today is more of a high carb day, also.

3pm: 120 skinny girl high protein chocolate chip cookie dough bar...and fell asleep

4pm: banana 120, wrap with pb and sf jelly 180 300 total

1920 :)...man was that wrap with pb and jelly great!

and more veggies, light sauce. hopefully not too much more than 100 cal.

total today is good: 2050, decided to take a sleeping pill a little before 6pm in hopes to go to bed early again & also not to eat anymore...had enough. tomorrow's a new day & it'll be slightly more productive. !! planning on laundry in the morning, returning a library book, gym & food shopping so that i'm set for the week. I didn't think i would need to go food shopping at all, but ate most of the veggies i bought already since Thursday! haha. maybe i'll be able to hold out, actually. we'll see.

6:45pm A high fat / protein wafer bar in chocolate peanut butter fudge flavor. 200.

2250, fine!


Doing my own thing this weekend. Trying for extremely low-key. My ankle needs rest & so does my body. I slept in so nicely today as well. Probably at least 10hrs sleep :-) Thanks to a really great sleeping pill (Sleepinol). I am sure i'll be taking it tonight also. Must do what i must do in order to feel good. And catching up on needed Z's is one of them!

Anyways let's move on past talking about sleep!

There's something i want your advice on, but i'll write about it later. I'm still thinking how i'm going to write it.  It bothers me too much to put much thought into it now.

Morning: kombucha around 3 cups 120, seltzer with stevia also.

8am Breakfast at work: wrap 60 with cream cheese 100 and salami 100 & coffee 50. 310.

11am natural high protein / fat bar: 200

1pm LIGHT lunch: 420

fruit 50, 5:30pm - big dinner 700,

high protein bar at 8pm - flavor is Dark chocolate, coconut, almond and it's by BHU FIT...look these up! amazing. only 1g sugar. the rest is protein and fat.

1800, 2000. good...i should be proud & end on a really good note, great calories! maybe a snack later.


Plans for after work: def do not need any food shopping, i'm set for awhile with the veggies - like maybe till next Friday!

...since there was so much prepared foods yesterday, i bought extra.

I will also pick up my comforter from the cleaners. That's it :-)

And i'll finally finish my book. I went to the library to read it there yesterday but didn't quite finish it. Only a few pages left now. I didn't want to stay too late at the library because i was eager to get to my new gym which i did enjoy very much along with ample parking thank gosh! There's a school right across the street and you can park there after 4pm. Perfect.

They tend to last me up to 1 week, depending on the type of veggie. Broccoli doesn't last long though...but cooked cabbage, bok choy, and all the rest do :-) Especially since i'm usually not home during the week to open my fridge often :-) and i usually put them in sealed containers, although right now they're sitting in the styrofoam cartons...i should put them away but i'm too lazy right now!

When I'm cooking regularly, I'll chop my veggies for the week ahead then just cook them as I go. Anything I don't get to goes to the freezer for soup.

1860-day average. good :) I am trying to stay in the 1800's .... so this is good!

10am breakfast: banana 120, wrap 60 with cream cheese 100 and salami 100: 380, and a drink with caffeine 40: 420. good.

12:30pm: nice, new bar. All protein & fat. 1g sugar only. You've gotta check these bars out on Amazon - called BHU FIT...the flavor of the day was "chocolate, tart cherry & pistachio!" nice. 210.

2pm: Tons of spicy cooked veggies around 400 tops 1000 good...

before gym: 150 cal - fruit and granola bar and rest of caffeine

after gym: bar 260...but broke down and ate some volume of veggies with sauce 200 at least.

today is around 1650, still good.


Plan today is good, easy, not too much!

1. Laundry later after my neighbor finishes bc i do NOT want to chat in laundry room with her (not sure why laundry has built up so much? except i had to use extra towels again this week because maintenance was redoing the caulking in my shower where the wall meets the tub....I don't really have to do this today either?...but laundry is quite full already and it'll save me a major headache doing everything on weekend when i can get some done now? DID IT.

2. Quick food shopping only for cooked vegetables = actually do not have to do this today....i may not...? DID IT!

3. Pick up my blanket from cleaners...oops forgot about it from Sunday and it was ready same day...is ok :) Should do it. ON WEEKEND....tbd

4. $ on laundry card....damn my list is growing! (can only put $ on days where I am home from work because it's only open weekdays till 4pm...) Should do this because i have no idea when i'm taking off next (actually i do, in a month a few days in July...but i'll be very busy and not want to do this then!) DID IT!

5. New Gym! (could have went to old gym for the last day, but no...) Yes - will do! was great!

6. Victoria's Secret bc i have free $20.- gift card...should do it bc gym is close to Victoria's Secret! another time!

7. Bed early...

My other resolve was to eat low calories today since i did indulge last night after the concert. I can do it because i'm up late today but plan to go to bed early again (with sleeping pill again) before work tomorrow.  I'll plan out my meals in a little bit...I'd like to eat 1500 today. It would be a good average with yesterday's 2050.

The Beyonce concert was great (and also great it was only 20 min away!)- it started so LATE! We got there for the 7:30pm start. We got to our seats around 8-ish. The actual concert started at 9:45pm!!!!!!!!!!!!! yeah! so....yeah! It ended just before midnight at 11:45pm!

My friend has to work today....she got home after 1am. I do feel bad :(   I hope she takes Friday off to rest. She's had a really busy week this week with a wedding on Sunday and also an event tonight with her coworker. lol...

Anyways, I'm happy. Glad i took a sleeping pill last night, around 12:45? I fell asleep in my makeup and even the t-shirt and fleece top i wore to the concert...i'd changed my pants lol. I slept around 7hrs, pretty deep sleep. just waking up for the bathroom. thank gosh i took today off :)

And this is certainly not a complaint, but another resolution for me: NO MORE CONCERTS while i work the job i currently have. WHY? because i don't know all the words or songs.....Broadway shows are better, cheaper. So, if I do any entertainment, it will be a broadway show....and actually, i'm definitely going to one next month in July :) when i have a visitor here from Canada :)

I am not feeling my best, probably due to a sleeping pill. i was very high energy this morning, but then didn't eat till later in morning at work...that may have something to do with it.

and as normal, i rushed getting ready for work...so now i'm half bloated. luckily, i was sorta able to use the bathroom at work, which is good...but it wasn't complete and i drank a lot of kombucha (2 bottles / 4 cups).  it's because i'm high-strung right now. thinking about all i have to do after work and going to the concert after work. SO GLAD I HAVE TOMORROW OFF after this concert and that i can sleep in and RELAX tomorrow. I do not have many plans, thankfully. need the downtime. :)  I am having an extremely tired morning bc my mind is in complete overdrive about the concert and seeing my friend tonight & just anxious for the concert to be here :)!

Early: kombucha 150 approx.

Late morning breakfast at 9:30am or so: coffee, banana, small new tasty bar 120 cal by "Skinny Girl" the brand by Bethenney Frankel that famous celebrity / actress / chef / talk show host / dancing with stars competitor / jack of a million trades lady / super thin / mom / entrepreneur / skinny girl cocktails producer... 300 cals here haha

450 before lunch...

lunch: 400 most - smart ones over some cooked cabbage. 400

850 & drink 50 cal.

100 cal snack in car: pear

dinner: healthy: around 500 tops

snack at 1am after concert since i was hungry i indulged because i feel i will sleep late tomorrow and cut back tomorrow on calories is my plan! protein muffin 220, chips 220, and some jellos (sf). total around 500.

total today: 2000 tops.

Where are you buying your Kombucha? What brand? If it is pasteurized the probiotics might not be alive to help your digestion.

Some brands are better than others for me with digestion...

Usually it helps, except if i'm in a rush, my body starts going in a different mode and without being relaxed, my digestion seems to stop at a major hault!

Kombucha 3 cups or so, strong stuff, worked at last minute thankfully. I must get up early so I’m not as rushed in the mornings & can do my “stuff” more easily! 120

Breakfast at work: higher fat / protein wrap 60, with cream cheese whipped 100, and salami 100 and also a banana 120, coffee 50: 430. Good. Satisfying.

Snack in morning: sure, why not. Bar 200.

1pm Lunch: Will be on the light side…tofu 100 and lots of veggies, light sauce still. Can’t imagine more than 350 cal?

Snack on way home: package raspberries! 120

1220 before dinner, good.

Dinner tonight: TBD – thinking to actually go more with soft foods & less volume veggies – that would be the smart choice, actually. And to go to bed early with sleeping pill also.. 

dinner was edamame 200, salad 100, yogurt 100, jello 100 most...and a little popcorn 50.

total today: excellent 1750.

did not poop before work = sucky start, but i'm happy. reason is mostly that i need to GET UP sooner, and i ate too late last night at 8pm & too much volume = no good to eat high volume at night. i like to end the veggie eating around 6-7pm if i eat dinner at home...anyways.....!

Kombucha: 150 (4 strong cups of the cold brew)

Breakfast: Wrap 60, with extra cream cheese whipped style 150 and salami 130: around 350. 

Coffee also 50 and banana i'll just add 100 here since i overestimated above...ugh...too much thinking this AM!

and a bar also. 200 low carbs, high fat and protein :) all natural, too.


Today's the last day at my old gym...last workout, been there total 3yrs, 3 months! done after today!!!!!!! Cheers to something new on Thursday! - new beginning at a new gym, looking VERY forward to the change of pace, new people to work out alongside, new environment, new everything. Needing it big time! Cannot wait for the change. The longer drive actually has me more excited than not! Instead of being under 10 minutes away in traffic / busy times, my new gym is more like 20 minutes away. WORTH it. It's a few towns over & i do not mind one bit.

The clinetelle at the new gym is a mix of: Italian, European-Jewish, and Asian mostly.

My current gym was a slightly similiar mix, but i think a higher percent for Indian / black (but still low percent). 

Umm, yeah. I think the mix at both gyms is similiar, but maybe more Asian at the new? not sure. we'll see. i think the new is more white...

i don't care what it is, just wouldn't want to be a minority myself at the gym...that's another reason i didn't join the gym where i work - white would be the minority and i don't feel like standing out in that way...if that makes any sense at all.  also, i didn't feel like "driving to work" to go to a gym by work on weekends. Like, how is that a weekend!? lol


it's gonna be a really cool week!

lunch: lighter side of a stew - tofu, lil bit of potatoes, and cabbage / broccoli mix in a tomato broth (leftover veggie soup from last Monday, mixing the tofu in)....400 cal for lunch.

1250 before leaving work, before gym.

snack before gym: raspberries 120, maybe that's it...and caffeine...last day at my old gym :) AND i think a granola bar also...sounds like too much 100...i may just skip out on the caffeine.

Tuesday no gym, Wednesday is a HUGE concert after work - Beyonce at Citifield Stadium which is only 20 or so min from me!) going with my best friend from White Plains & she'll probably drive back up that night,

Thursday day off thankfully and new gym!......I am tired and in my head making excuses to go to my old gym Thursday (that's the exact day the membership expires, but i actually planned to have the day off partially to go to the new gym...so i may as well!)..

I wrote about Saturday in my previous entry. 

Today is finishing up small amount of laundry, trying for a small food shopping (don't want to spend $), and then seeing a movie by myself in the late afternoon so i don't have to listen to music blasting from the street fair.

7:30am: kombucha, followed later by popcorn 150

9:30am big, tasty breakfast: oatmeal made with oats 80, egg whites 100, vanilla protein powder by Quest 100, water, stevia, cinnamon: around 300. topped with sugar free jelly and peanut butter 200 most. total here is around 500 at most. yum.

11:30am: whole package bacon jerky 330

3pm caffeine and lots of tasty veggies 200.

around 1850-1900 total, good. 

2-day average: 1950, good.

Saturday turned out being awesome. I slept in (sleeping pill) and slept in sorta too late. I had to text my two friends asking them to meet up at 12:30 for brunch instead of 12 because i slept in even past my alarm. But all was good & nobody cared about the half hour change.

Food was great. I indulged and so did everyone. I even had a scoop of green tea ice cream! 

Then my friend that has a son split off and went home with him. And i continued to hang out with my good friend Renee. We went to a mall i have not been to. It's sorta small, but had the stores we both like - Old Navy, Bath and Body Works, Target. I had actually wanted to go to target to get a couple t-shirts so we did as we walked thru. I also picked up really cool flavored seltzers that i haven't seen before (and no aspartame in these, they are the natural type!) - flavors like pineapple! yeah! totally new.

My friend Renee is very easy going. She didn't mind going to mall with me & she had fun too. It was mostly me shopping (buying things), but then she admitted she had went to Costco / Target the day before with her fiance so she didn't need much haha.

Also at Target, i bought some new protein bars, a cool Samoa girl scout flavored 100 cal granola bars by Quaker, two different cool flavored seltzers like i told you about earlier, two t-shirts (one was on sale for $3 and the other was like $15 - and they will last me! they are cute feminine with a nice design on the front!), oh and i bought a pillow because i have been wanting to buy pillows for a long time (they only had one left in the type i wanted so since i have 3 pillows on my bed, i figured, i'd buy one and test it out and wait to buy the rest...). i think that's all i bought at target.

And Bath and Body Works it was a sale of buy 3, get 3 free. I also had a coupon for an additional FREE full size product. I bought in total 7 (four were FREE) body scrubs. They should last me a VERY long time and i'll try not to use more than i need in the shower. I bought the scrubs because they are quite excellent. I have a slight condition on my upper arms that is pretty common called keratosis polaris - it's just small bumps on the back of the arms. And believe it or not, i've tried many scrubs and stuff. I also have a Rx cream i do use many days (sometimes i take a few days off using it and just use lotion) on the back on my arms after a shower. anyways, in the shower, turns out, the bath and body works scrubs have actually basically cured the back of the arms problem! yeah. these scrubs are very nourishing / soothing. they worked. so now i have a TON. So now, i love Bath and Body works for their 3-wick candles and i'm a scrub convert. While the scrubs are pricey, i'm willing to pay for a product that yields results that can be seen and enjoyed!

Lastly, actually we went there first, we went to Old Navy at the mall. Lots of deals and I had a $35 rewards to use there. YES! $35 free! So i bought my dad 2 shirts for father's day because i really liked the design. Just cotton shirts. I also bought him some boxers (as a joke!) to wear as PJ's as he does at home with my mom about a month ago. I was going to also buy him a pair of inexpensive summer really nice looking casual summer loafer-type shoes but i didn't feel like spending an additional $25 for them when he may not even find them comfortable to wear...and i bought myself one nice, pink top for work. In all, I used my $35 free money in Old Navy and only had to pay $5 out of pocket.

Brunch for me was around $40, totally treated myself. Target was around $60 - but all the items will last awhile. Old Navy was $5. and Bath & Body works was also pricey around $50 but the items should last MANY MANY months. and so you have it, i spent a lot yesterday but in all honesty, it was money well spend in my book!

I will just have to be more conservative the rest of this month, which should be pretty simple....lol...i just can't buy any more clothes...that's fine :)...

and then, i was at the gym last night starting at 7pm. good job to me. i would have liked to have been there a couple hours earlier, but, it was more fun spending time with Renee. So..no regrets.  Monday night will be my last time at my gym before switching over to the gym that is around 3x as far away, but worth it. Happy for a gym change. new folks, new equipment...good stuff. I start at the new place this Thursday (actually taking off work that day because i'm going to a concert the night before & also just wanted the day off to check out new gym & put $ on my laundry card and anything else that needs to be done!)....

and today - Sunday - there's a street fair that's going to happen - very loud and noisy. I'm actually going to a movie in the afternoon so that i can be out of this area. i would have probably just stayed home all day - but the music from the street fair is going to be obnoxious and loud, all day...so i'm getting out of here! it's kiddie - i have no kids and i'd rather relax (doing minimal laundry since i did most of it friday night!) and see a movie. oh, and buy minimal groceries too - don't need to buy as much because Thursday i'm off (so i can get prepared & go food shopping on that day also - and not have to worry about being prepared for 5 full days of groceries for work..only 3 till Wednesday!).
