11/20/12 Saturday -

did my legs routine outside - stopped walking and did it at the shoreline - done! 

hours spent outdoors are from 10am-12:45, Included in total. Not all was walking, some was just sitting but outside in nature and I'm counting that as it's important to be outside on the weekend for me :-) 

Breakfast banana & coffee 150, banana & cream oatmeal 150...300

Snacks: Twix x 2? 180 Forgot how many, 2 small gummy packs 120; 


2:00-3:30pm Late Lunch:ride home while driving in traffic I had most of the heavily roasted Brussels 350 excellent filled up volume wise, leftover oatmeal, made 2 servings this AM 150, got home at 3:00pm. another shower before reading and relaxing :) haribo berries if you know of them. 2 servings. 220.

Light Dinner: persimmon lg 100, chobani choc orange yogurt 150...250.

9pm snack 1 moist cornbread :) 200

later plans: reading the leadership book above with goal to finish it by end of thanksgiving weekend or earlier! / after i finish that book, i will begin to read a novel of some sort; relaxing,

10am-12:30 Volunteer on Staten Island at Lemon Creek Beach Pier;looking forward to volunteering with this group that i haven't worked with since last fall, i think? I had gone on a date with the leader that ended in just friendship (def, not who i'm looking for in a partner) but it was a good walk...anyways, if he's there, it'll be nice to see him and support his non-profit environmental organization.

After Volunteering on way home: pickup from a VERY good Middle Eastern restaurant i found earlier this year on Staten Island; HUGE variety of cooked veggies, etc...

laundry day for guinea pig cages & cleanings :)....but may do just a quick cleaning of one of the fleeces and leave the rest for Thanksgiving weekend.

relax day- finish more of my book :-) 


11/22 Monday- really want to do public transport today... - it's easier to do on short weeks bc it doesn't leave me tired all week since I'm off Thursday/ Friday this week it's easier to handle the early wake ups on short weeks

Do you take the bridge or the boat to Staten Island?

oh good question! the ferries go between manhattan and staten island but coming from Queens it is way more convenient just to drive over the bridge. it actually takes two bridges both ways to take the most direct route. One is a rather short bridge in Brooklyn and was recently in the last few years replaced with a new one:

The second bridge is the long, like 2.5 mi, Verrazano bridge which connects Brooklyn with Staten Island. The building of the Verrazano is what initially sparked so many people to move to Staten Island. It is generally cheaper to live in the borough of Staten Island, compared with the other 4 boroughs Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, Bronx. Well, Bronx is more convenient to get places, it doesn't need a long bridge like Staten Island... And also subway system is great for Bronx. Staten Island is very inconcenient to commute to!

it was good, volunteered just like an hour, didn't see much garbage to pick up, decided to end early and enjoy some of the time to myself and do my own walk and rest on the rocks by myself.

I didn't see tons of gargage to pick up and bc it was a large showing, i only did the work for an hour of the two allotted hours. i returned my bag of garbage, gloves and picker, and did some nice walking and exercised my legs outside...enjoyed the place to myself before driving to go back home :)...Best choice ever to end my volunteering early and enjoy the tranquility of the place i was at.

Legs Strength after work as i did upper only last night; also bike tonight. Will leave work at 3:30pm to go home as to minimize the traffic during my drive as the later i drive home, the more traffic. I will be on my feet tomorrow morning most of the morning volunteering which is why walking tonight is not necessary also and i'll just relax on my bike.

Breakfast: banana and coffee 150, 2 small pastry pieces of a butter croissant -like with a very minor amount of broccoli. very small, but buttery. 150-200. 

Snacks: nut butter 100, nut butter 100

Lunch: yellow pepper that's on the go so i need to eat it 50, sauce 50, tiny wraps x2 150, cheese 100, hot sauce negl. 350-400

950... also a few cashews 50,

Snacks:none 

Dinner: I want to get some takeout, maybe. ..large persimmon 100 and store bought cornbread 200 from supermarket of a good texture moist and just right 300 total, chocolates 150. 450-500

1500, now relaxing. No legs today or walking. Will go to bed early, do legs in AM, and looking forward to volunteering tomorrow.

ended up doing a large supermarket shopping so will not be going again except for fruit / veg for awhile. No need to go to supermarket again this weekend . 

..or just pick up fruit, like blueberries/persimmons, canned soups, and other pantry stables at the supermarket...i also have lox at home to have with cream cheese on a wrap along with the fruit...another great option...i also want to pick up small kiddie-sized meal/snacks like more cups of noodle-type meals (like a rice-a-roni) and other add water/microwave easy things for quick meals when i just want to come home and go to bed early. and split pea soup! - bought everything listed here plus extra. 3 types of rice a roni as well. Happy.

re yesterday's dinner, it feels SO GOOD to walk into Arby's get what i want, feel no shame about it, know i'm eating just potato with lots of seasonings and oil, know i'm going to enjoy it...and no regrets because it fits right into my lifestyle, as it should (in my opinion). and it seemed to be on sale. 99 cents for a small, but they always give extra / overflow it. the container is like dbl the size of mcdonalds small fries.

Tomorrow I will order a lot of special prepared veggies and hope to post a photo of some of it. I may not get too much or I might to last many days. We’ll see what they have ! It’s a special place and has the best vegetables of any restaurant I have ever been to, ever!

15 min before work :) (this is like 1/2-3/4 mile. very worth it - adds up over the course of a week whenever i get it in).

weights tonight - at least upper, lower if i'm up to it.

Breakfast: large banana 150, clif bar 250, coffee 50. 450.

Snacks tbd 2 nutter butters approx 100

Lunch 2 thick pcs muenster cheese 200, 2 small tortillas 150, mix of veg with some sauces 150. 500; clementine 50

Snacks none. 

Dinner: leftovers- lol nope. Arby's curly fries 400, gummy berry candies 300 tops and sweetened seltzer.

Hello Maria. No, i had stopped volunteering almost fully once i got this job this past January. I did 1 day i think this summer at the farm and almost no other volunteering. so, i am trying to fit it in time to time again. i am not taking any more classes so my time is freed up a little.

it was fun. since it's TOM, i usually can change it up lots, get satisfied more easily during it, and prefer less fiber. :) and with seltzer and some kombucha, it fills you up...as does fat in the fries :)

2 days off next week, yes, for thurs./fri ...looking forward!!!!! thurs, fri, sat, sunday are my days for Thanksgiving. some companies make workers come in that Friday, i feel so bad for those guys!

usually i do errands on the weekend...but tonight getting takeout is for tonight...unless i stick to something i have at home, which you remind me, i should...i have lots of frozen food, but prefer to use it for lunch...i may just do mcdonalds takeout...small nuggets, small fries....time of month is calling for it! LOL!

I hope you don’t mind my incessant questioning! Cuz I’ve got another one for you :-) when you were trying to lose weight, did you ever feel a sense of panic if you were at 1200 cal by lunchtime? That is one of my reasons when I start giving up and stop counting… Because it’s so early in the day and I know I will still want to eat a lot more.

Had a little bit of anxiety while driving this AM with clammy hands. was breathing through it. knew i would be alright. wishing it didn't happen, but i am ok :)  I may not be able to save all my days for 4 months, (not take remaining days), may just change my mind. I will have to take care of myself. but either way, i am not planning to take days thru the new year. working on relaxing now.

sort of how donkey was feeling, i am feeling very anxious today, tired, and not in the best mood. it's prob based on VERY interrupted sleep as well as a crappy dinner and TOM.  If i were home, i would be laying in bed....

15 min before work walk, and planning on upper/lower tonight depending on how i feel. TOM coming soon and it's been interrupting my sleep with slight thigh pain as is typical for me during this time of month.

Breakfast: banana and coffee 150 (2x extra decaf also), cappuccino cheesecake 100. 250.

11:30 am late snack 2 nutter butters 150 - got involved and didn't have all the breakfasts at once in addition to an extra decaf..

Lunch: microwave meal with cauli/meat/cheese350 ; carrot sticks 100 from work fridge, 3 nice cashews50. pretzels honey wheat 100 550-600

4:50pm Snacks at home:persimmon, blueberries 200...last of the cheesecakes 100, 2 gummy peaches 50

Interrupted sleep - ugh! Consider resting or doing a light workout (lighter weights, more reps) until your body is more stable and your sleep is better. Just a suggestion; you know your body best.

Tofu with rice - I had this for lunch yesterday. Love it!

It does sound like your thighs want to go into muscle cramps.....My calves do at times....for me that is usually set off by dehydration....one son used to cramp up during football games....it would scare me because he would usually end up on the ground....and I think we gave him some vitamin D at the time... and gatorade...but profuse sweating would bring his on.

Hope you're doing okay. I know the feeling of anxiety. It happens to me too, never bad enough that I've done anything about it, but I've been an anxious person all my life. I hide it pretty well. Driving on the highway can at times make me feel so nervous, made worse by the fact that I don't drive much on it anymore! I sincerely hope your day is going well :)

I feel some of it is lifestyle-related which makes me more anxious due to type of job, commute. i have been anxious my whole life too, but didn't realize certain feelings that i used to have were anxiety. became more aware as an adult...wish i learned better coping skills earlier.

i do agree, not doing something like driving on the highway will provoke you more when you finally do. thank you for your message.

Do they still make midol...I used to rely on that back in the day...( as long as it's okay with other meds).....Todays funny.......D threw the midol box away and I asked him why...he said "I take it for headaches".you need to pick up some more when you go shopping.....UHHHHH....I told him it was for women and periods...he said...WELL it says it's for headaches!!!!.......He NEVER touched Midol again.

11/15 Monday - maybe come straight home, early dinner, bike ride while watching tv tonight for an easy night; no walking before work as i left in just enough time to drive without having an extra this AM. 

I can feel TOM coming soon...cramps were waking me up last night but just had an extra banana since i do have extra at home.

Midnight: banana 100

Breakfast: banana and coffee 150, choc cheesecake (only 2 left!) 100, 2 nutter butter cookies i brought in for everyone 120. 

Snacks: 10:15 am nut butter 2 cookies 120

11:30 i think TOM causing me extra hunger. 50 in nut butter

Lunch: Healthy: the other half my tuna salad 100 in a small wrap, slice of my also small cheese 100 wrap 150 for the two wraps sauteed veggies in a tomato sauce up to 200. 550.

Snacks:

7pm Dinner - will include a big juicy persimmon 100; blueberries 100...some seltzer and relaxing (prob a shower so i do not have to in the AM...)also gummy peaches x2 200

1600 walked practically an hour before driving home :-) 

and...maybe lox sandwich with cream cheese toasted, veggies on side if still hungry, but thinking i will not be..

exercise - 30 min outside at park with nephew...was a bit longer, but 30 min is what i'm recording :)

Breakfast small banana & coffee 150, cheesecake 100. 250.

Snack blueberry fig bar 250 (from sister - she and nephew eat them)

Noonish lunch half large bagel 250 with whitefish salad spread 150, lots of cut up veggies 100, pie not too much 350. 850

4pm snack pint blueberries 250 

5pm dinner will be the rest of the bagel with the spread but already counted calories earlier for the spread, bagel 250 more...prob heat up & eat my cooked veggies too..150

A nice strawberry rhubarb pie ! My family enjoys fruit pies often ! We took a break from them for lots of choc mouse cakes but it seems we are finally back in pie-land !

Last week, i got a phone call on Thursday, 11/4 from the owner of the company along with his female payroll "sidekick." i say "sidekick" beacuse she acts and behaves exactly like a sidekick, being just as egocentric/lack of understanding as he is. i was told i'm "taking too many vacation days" as i have taken around 1-2 more than i should have based on what i have accured so far (whatever month you are working, you can take only so many days when dividing exactly the days you have by months of the year.)

however, on sick days, which they didn't call me about - i'm 2 days UNDER (less than i could use). when combining the vaca and sick, i'm GOOD and actually under by a day. BUT, they are just looking at vacation. i number my vacation days, as you may have noticed here, and that must have tipped off the payroll lady as i'm SURE she's not checking how many days people are taking all the time as she is busy with quite a lot of other work to do....

....so, i have 4 vaca and 4 sick days left, EIGHT DAYS LEFT out of 20 (40% LEFT) for this year that goes thru April 15. I KNOW i'm doing just fine with my days. But, the owner said, "if you take another vacation day before the New Year, I will not pay you!" over the speaker phone which my boss heard and knows that i do not abuse days and i do watch my overall days.

I didn't know to be so careful with #vacation and # sick to balance it perfectly as i never had to do that at previous company where i was at for almost 10 years or I would have watched it.

anyways, the owner and payroll lady do not know my toughness and how i rise to a challenge. Luckily, this company pays you for any leftover days unused, both sick and vacation. my other only did it for sick. 

Therefore, i have made it a challenge, so they can eat their words that i'm taking too many days, to NOT take any days until approx April 16. That's when all days renew. 

Then, payroll lady will witness a check she needs to make out to me, for 8 days, in addtion to my regular paychecks this year since I will not take anymore days this cycle. There's quite a few holidays thru Winter now, except March which may pose a challenge to me...but i want to show EVERYONE (including myself) how I do know how to "not take any days off!"

and when the new cycle starts up, I'll do more of what i please again; but paying close attention to accrual so i name my days appropriately...and i will never number my days in an email like i used to "vacation day 3...vacation day 10"...if she wants to know what number day i'm up to, she'll have to do the work to look it up. because i gave her my info up front, she used it to hurt me...therefore, she'll now only see "vacation day."

One day if i get the chance to move on from this job, i may mention how i once tried to commit suicide and it's important to be nice to people bc you never know what they are going thru. I may say it to owner of this company too, but not now. if you have a tip for me, on what you think, i'd like to hear it. like i said, this isn't somethign i'd ever say now....i'd need a job to be going to - to say something of that nature.


 11/13 Saturday:

breakfast small banana and 2 gummy vitamins 120, coffee 30, 2 mini Greek yogurt cheesecakes from refrig section of supermarket 200. 350 :-) decadent !

10am sugar snack! 2.25 servings haribo super soft gummy peaches. 225. was good. glad i stopped at 9 of them! i knew i didn't eat much else today in terms of total calories, or i'd prob have had a bit less of them at this point.

Noon lunch half a large empanada filled with sautéed greens 300 not much filling but it was good. 

1:30 2 servings tortilla chips- some veggies will do me good right about now !300, 2:30 pm egg 

4:45pm early, healthy dinner: tuna salad which i made with 1 tbsp mayo, teaspoon rice vinegar, tablespoon dijon, too many onions (used like 1/3 small onion but i'm not a big raw onion fan so i know for next time!, and parsley!)...only 220 cals for the entire can made up like this. so, i had half, 100 cals. then, i had some of the large veggie dish i just made, it's filling, especially after the tuna ! prob around 200 cal for it. so, 300 cal....will have some carbs - just cannot force rice on myself...so delving back into a few tortilla chips 150....i know it's healthy but rice is not a habit for me yet...so i'll be eating rice at work this week - since i have so much in the fridge to use...plain cheesecake 100

6pm 2 brownie filled choc chip cookies 150
1850.....


thinking very much to keep this day relaxed, skipping weights, yes - to do tomorrow.. do weights in evening (upper and lower) - may call it a rest day not sure - then I'd do exercise tomorrow

It’s Mexican / South American - basicallly it’s like a hand-held fast food of dough like the top of a pie crust on both sides with a filling… it’s a treat and def high carb and not healthy carbs ! But satisfying and a great change of pace ! Also it may be African / Caribbean ! Very easy to eat if you are on the go - street food :)

I have very little gray, but it shows up in my roots. so i do try to dye my hair when i start to notice the small amount of gray roots showing up, so i can maintain it and get used to doing it myself...it's to restore my natural as that is easier to do at home and saves me a TON of money rather than going to the salon. the dye used to cost $4 on amazon. now, it's $6. still a steal of a price and i do not use it even 1x month...i think i wait more like between 4-6 weeks depending on my schedule...

enjoy your day, i will be writing on your entry soon, i see you are cleaning the stairs and you almost inspired me to clean my gp cages! but, all work here will be done tomorrow!

 11/12/21 Fri-Yay!!!! Walked 10 min before work, will not count that time as it's good to do but not enough to actually record - if i want to record, i must come earlier to work ;), and I will walk at the park after work by work (weather permitting). 

If for some reason the weather isn't good & doesn't clear up from the rain midday, i'll ride my stationary bike tonight while watching tv.

7:30am Breakfast: banana and coffee 150, french toast sticks and nut butter 200. 350.

9/10am Snacks - large biscotti with some choc on one side, from coworker 170..to prob have some nut butter with it later...100 and possibly another coffee, decaf.

11:30 early Lunch:coworker brought in some stuff (fried chicken wings, may have like 2 - approx 300 cals. lots of breading, super fried, super good! always worth it to have a couple bc it's some good fats, not a lot of chicken/protein..not a bad amount of calories, it's like a keto meal and the fat and chicken meat along with some breading are a good mix/satisfying, stick with you blood sugar wise...that's my feeling on that! had my decaf coffee after the wings to fill my stomach...oh my...he brought cooked veggies, not heavily oiled but really nicely heavily spiced and a little fried plantain 150, 2 shrimp grilled 50, lo mein small amount 100. 300 more. GREAT lunch. i could be under calories, but i think it's close.

few pretzels honey wheat as after a meal like that, well, you crave more a little later..ok, i'm good now. 

1250-1300....

.... i also have a pepper, some carrot sticks, 150,that are available in the fridge to anyone, and an apple, 50,... - will take my pepper back home for cooking over the weekend.

Dinner:def no takeout after such a rich meal at lunch -  maybe just gummies,fruit, yogurt for dinner...that will be satisfying enough....

So for dinner I decided to drive like 2 mi more easy on a parkway past my usual exits but didn't realize there'd be a traffic jam that held me up 30 min in crazy stalled traffic - but it's ok bc I actually got out of work a few minutes early and had already done a 45 min walk after work. I was headed to a supermarket for mini Greek yogurt cheesecakes that are decadent and only 100 cals each made with stevia. Bought many of them as a huge indulgence while needing to pee for the last hour before going home ! Had 3 in all different flavors - chocolate,  cappuccino and plain for dinner along with tastes of a cider 50. 350 then fell asleep on couch with pig and later headed to bed !! A good day overall. 

1650 cals today, huge success !

It's great that it's Friday :)

same here, no hail, but a big rainstorm just late morning to early afternoon ! :) glad it didn't rain during my commute this AM & should be over so i can walk after work! :)

not December yet....but we are almost in mid-december!

Aww, French toast sticks - I used to make those for the kids for breakfast, when they were little. I liked them too, because they were so good on their own, didn't really need syrup or jelly to go with them.

they aren't those type that are made with flour and dipped into egg/milk...yum yum!

they are almost waffle-consistency but softer and easier to eat. these also, the cinnamon ones at least, have enough flavor to need not much else. since tehy are just 100+ cals, i add nut butter to make them a little healthier than just straight up carbs. they don't stay with me still - not much fiber i think. i do like them though as a great change of pace.!!! just love my morning sweets at this job!

Fridays are a blessing. everyone is a bit rough today after the day off yesterday. i think everyone prob relaxed a bit yesterday rather than run around more.!!!

Just curious as I try to get this veggie logging thing down without weighing on a scale... you noted 150 calories for a pepper and carrot sticks - is this truly just that much volume, or does this include dip? Like, a serving of baby carrots is about 35 calories and a whole bell pepper is around 30-40. Do you round up just in case so you don't underestimate? Sorry to be so specific, my brain drives me crazy sometimes haha!!

i rounded up on the carrots & pepper. it's a whole pepper and the carrot sticks, each stick is like the size of 3-4 baby carrots. they are large sticks and i am thinking to have a few sticks as it's fried chicken the coworker brought in so i want to fill up more on volume with the carrot sticks/pepper. :) i may lower the total later if i do not eat so many carrot sticks! :) BY THE WAY - great call on my calorie count for that! seems our brains are related like distant cousins lol! i will most usually overestimate a little bit but sometimes it just equals out. i i'd rather over it than underestimate it... i try to be fair. :-D

Completely makes sense!!! I get it now. And totally makes sense to round up, because studies show we almost always underestimate how many calories we're actually eating. Hope your day is coming along nicely :)

exactly. i want to be accurate and not be an underestimator (or overestimator for that matter). but i want to get the best estimate i can for what calories i can eat around to maintain...and try to be pretty accurate daily...you know? just like you, as you want to be accurate and not second guessing that you aren't right...same with me :) day is nice and calm. !!!

I ran into a similar problem with time off at a job I had many years ago. I misread the office memo, and thought it said to take vacation as soon as possible. What it really said is NOT to use up all of your vacation right away because of the way the system calculates the accumulation of time-off earned. It was a part-time gig, so I ended up having to work 1.5 hours of my own time to make up for the time off I had claimed as vacation. Oops.

I can with 100% certainty say that your job environment is more serious. In an ironic way, perhaps this is good news, so that you end up not losing any pay for taking too much time off. However, I guess no good deed goes unpunished. I mean, you were trying to be the responsible worker by numbering your days off, and it only ended up biting you in the end.

I think the whole situation could have been handled way better by the Owner and Payroll Lady. It's a little embarrassing to have this discussed like that over speaker phone for those around to hear. That's just not cool.

Could it be that the payroll software has a system that alerts the payroll person that there's a problem with the vacation time taken? One job I had would automatically calculate overtime, if we worked 1 minute past the margin of error. There were a couple of times where this happened to me, just because of the logistics of getting to the timeclock on time. For example, I had OT because I used the bathroom before clocking out by the exit door. Payroll Lady may not be so much out to get you as it may feel or seem. (Of course, I could be completely wrong, since I'm not in your shoes. Just putting that out there as a possibility.

I would not say one more word of this to the Owner. Least said, soonest mended - at least with him. I'm glad that you know that your immediate Boss knows that you meant no harm. Oh but it would be so hard to bite my tongue and not thank Payroll Lady for cutting you an extra check. But let's see how you feel in April. Or who knows, you may end up taking the remainder of time left due to circumstances beyond your control, e.g. you get sick.

It's tough, really tough. But I have to admit that's an interesting challenge, and I know you like to rise to challenges put before you! You are strong. Now may very well be the time to be the "strong AND silent" type. Let's see how this plays out. I'm on your side 100%. (((hugs)))

I’m glad they were on speaker so my boss could hear how they spoke to me and their lack of understanding or concern for me as an employee.

The owner even questioned how I could need so many days since I didn’t actually use them to go anywhere - but I may have misinterpreted or heard this or I’m putting into my own words now - as it’s awhile later now.

Either way, your advice is very sound and I also appreciate you telllibg me about your past similar situations. You, Bear and Jacky are so right. Thank you. I def need to resume as strong and silent im this case.

I think that Donkey gave very good advice.......I would chalk it all up to a misunderstanding and do as they say about days off in the future. I also agree that I would not discuss personal details with the boss or really anyone at work. I would do my best to just put this aside and try not to get upset about it. You don't need the stress and my guess is that they have already forgotten about it.

Also, these cheesecakes are so good ! They are quite small maybe 4oz each ? Overpriced at $3 each it was a large splurge ! I will bring them to work for my breakfasts next week to have with coffee and a banana. I bought a ton of them - probably around 20 tiny boxes ! After all the traffic and knowing how much I wanted one, I just loaded up lol ! A gift !

I do feel better. I have tried to push past taking it personally and now focus in creating a challenge to my own strength to not take anymore days thru April and then I’ll get 8 days of an extra paycheck for this year ;) which is a lot, almost 2 weeks worth of pay extra on top of my regular salary! And depending on how easy it is to do, I may try it again for the next annual vaca period and only take sick days and making it so that I am paid an extra 3 weeks with my vacation days in next year spring of 2023 ! It’s looking forward and I may need to change my mind if I need the time to take care of job prospects and applications ;) so we’ll see !!

 11/11/21 Thursday - Veteran's Day - Union Holiday. :-D

Decided on a cardio rest day, driving to the store instead of walking. Just not up to the walking/carrying anything back.

DONE! I actually changed my mind and walked to do my errands. i'm glad i pushed myself. hour cardio for both walking/picking up groceries. Might be under an hour, but that's what i'm recording.

I'm having a tired day, just resting a bit as well.

I will say thank you to Bear, i did some steps today in my apt building stairwell! I walked up 1.5x. one time was just to deliver a package to someone else, only about half the floors to my own apt. so that felt good, 9 floors and 5 floors. 14 floors of walking..not counting it. but love this type of added fitness.

Thank you to our Vets! (InnerPeace!, Donkey's Hubby!) and current service men and women!). 

I slept in until around 8am, woke up a little earlier, but kept going back to sleep as it's a day off and i knew i'd be able to sleep in a bit more :)

9am breakfast: banana and coffee 150, flavored peach oatmeal 220, almond milk 30. 400...

11:45 early lunch: leftover veggies bowl 150, tortilla chips 300. 450. some of a dry rose cider, just ok, will drink over the day. 100.

Afternoon snacks Butterfinger small 100 also nut butter at some point 100, blueberries 100

4:45pm 2 tasty brownie filled choc chip cookies. new product in supermarket. i think it's chewy brand or something...150...gearing up to do my upper body workout....then decided at 5pm to have dinner lol 

5pm dinner : 2 mini pitas 150, 1 cheese slice Munster thick 100, one egg 100, garlic 350, 2 more of the cookies I had a little earlier 150


1900 :)

DONE! Do laundry today - done with mine including bed sheets and bath mats, may skip fleeces for pigs untiil the weekend to wash or do later, tbd :)

(May wait for the weekend for this one...)make a cooked veggie dish today, still deciding what recipe to do, it will include eggplant. it was going to be a chilli, but i have no beans. so i may even use a chili recipe but adapt it...as i saw something i really liked recently in an email i receive on healthy cooking.

I too appreciate your insights on vegetables. And you are SO RIGHT about what you said to Coffee (?) that fresh fruits and vegetables beat anything man-made. This is something that I have to remind myself of when it comes to some fruits.

I will be writing soon in my diary about what happens with payroll lady complaining to owner how I took too many vacation days (but not really when looking at overall vacation/sick combined). She made it look like I was so off on my days and was on speaker with myself abd the owner. I was told that if I take any vacation days before January 1st, they won’t pay me for them. If you look at my sick days, I took one, I’m below the max by a couple days or so based on “accruing days.” I didn’t know how serious they were to only take what is allowed abd not go over or id label my 2 last vacation as sick. I can’t even believe she got me in this mess as I know I didn’t do it intentionally. I have 8/20 days left - 4 sick and 4 vacation. This owner wil pay for all I used sick AND vacation after the annual period ends April 15. Little do they know, payroll opened her mouth and will eat her words when she pays me for all these days come Spring. I’m up to a challenge and will save all my days - all 8 - almost half. Like I really overused my days ! She is an a-hole. I may tell her one day that she messed with someone who once committed suicide. Not yet but maybe before I leave this job, if it’s guaranteed I am moving on.
