Weight: 129.0

7am small morning binge plus another binge at 10am= 2370 cal so far.

I just did an average/estimate and have realized that over the past 30 days, I have binged one out of every 3 days, or 33%! Wow, i guess i can say this can be improved. For every day I don't binge in one week, I will give myself something special on the weekend...even if it's something small!

It's so hard to get back on track for the long run and realize that i can be successful at weightloss if i want to be!

2140 cal.

tot ex: 5hrs, 5min slacking!

yesterday: 4000 cal and no exercise.

today: slight binge in AM. so far, 1515 cal before dinner. I will not stick with cals in the 1500s today. I just don't care and cannot deprive myself. I kind of like workingit's advice to raise my calories even on dieting days. I think I may start to eat cals only as low as in the 1600s. we'll see. I have so much calories to balance out from 2 weeks of binging practically everyday! It's a challenge right now for me.

exercise: so far 30 min walk. I'm taking a short break from yoga and am still deciding based on how many terms i memorize tonight if i will be able to go to yoga tomorrow morning! :) hopefully...but i won't be too upset if i can't make it.

have a good weekend.

Progress as of today: -2 lbs lost so far, only 19 lbs to go!

mmuraro on 02/08/2008:
hey, yeah, just raise your calories in the diet. maybe 1500 is just nto enough for you and you deprive yourself too much and end up eating more. try that. and don't try to make up for the high calories days, just start being good from now on, past is in the past! :)

workingit2 on 02/09/2008:
I think rewarding yourself for accomplishing your goals is a great idea! Have a great day!

Weight: 127.0

edit: almonds, pb, bread binge at 10:30pm. total cal: 4000

calories: 2500. yeah. that's what i get for not going to yoga!!! sadly, I know i will regret the binging on the weekend and next week when all the extra calories finally catch up with me in pounds!

exercise: none so far...

Progress as of today: 0 lbs lost so far, only 17 lbs to go!

workingit2 on 02/07/2008:
Maybe you should be eating a higher number of calories and not go below 1600 or something? Just because you do an awful lot of activity and I'm sure you are on your feet all day, plus all that studying and if you stay up late. It all takes energy and if you aren't getting enough, your body will force you to get enough. You had one day between the last binge and this set and this is your third day on the binge..maybe take your average calories over the past few days and find a number somewhere inbetween that isn't too low or too high?

Well, I'm not one to talk about what works and what doesn't..sitting her trying to lose my extra thirty pounds lol. Whatever you do...HANG IN THERE!!!

thinnsidenotout on 02/07/2008:
hmmmm....Sounds like something is "eating" at you, as well as you eating everything you don't want to.... Sorry to hear that you feel the need to binge. After having a good day and feeling achieved...Remember how good that felt to make it that day...Have some faith in yourself!

mcwoo40 on 02/08/2008:
Hiya,I've had a mini binging two days, now i feel c-ap!!back to it before i go down that slippery slope again.have a great weekend,Julie

CritterMom on 02/08/2008:
Do your yoga, THEN study. I think yoga really tends to get you centered and in "the right place" to absorb more information from studying.

I think the others were right on when they advised making your calories a bit higher, at least on days when you're on your feet a lot, or very active. Also, take a good look at WHAT you're binging on. There must be some nutrient you're needing from those foods that your body needs. Protein from the nuts? Make sure what you're consuming is balanced, and that you're taking a good multivitamin, too.

contessa on 02/08/2008:
Oh gosh, I am so sorry about that binge! I used to do that as well, and I am well aware of how difficult it can be to control...but why bread? I mean, I used to do it with Ben & Jerry's...it seemed much more "exciting" lol. Just hang in there, I hope you are able to laugh at yourself though this process like I laugh at myself!

Weight: 127.0

shoot 3450 cal....NO exercise!I really didn't study that much at all so perhaps NOT doing yoga is actually NOT helping me study more!!!

I had 700 calories until 3:30pm. Then I had a huge smoothie with some cottage cheese as well and then 1 tablepoon pb and this drink. So far, calories are 1180.

I'm having trouble fitting yoga in and also having enough time studying. If i do that, I cannot really relax at all...lol, yoga is a workout and that is not what i consider relaxing/going online/commenting/checking up on things. so, I'll have to limit yoga. I'm almost ready to aim for just 3X Week yoga instead of 4X! We'll see... On my school break in a couple weeks i'll try to fit in a few more sessions.

Progress as of today: 0 lbs lost so far, only 17 lbs to go!

mmuraro on 02/06/2008:
Hey, good for you about the career change, you're young and have time to figure things out and start doing something you like best! I'm glad you also updated and is starting to use the chart. 1580 is a great day. And you put in some stuff you wanted to it this afternoon. Good for you!

shadetree on 02/06/2008:
I had a not so good day myself - I was hungry, nothing good in the cafeteria, no one delivering due to the snow, so it was a vending machine kind of day...I'm not even going to worry about it though...

Hope you have a good evening and the voices let you study :)

thinnsidenotout on 02/06/2008:
Look forward to your break..It will be here sooner than you think... Hang in there!

workingit2 on 02/06/2008:
Get some natural peanut butter...I promise you, you won't want to binge on it LOL Have a great night!

iwant2bthin on 02/06/2008:
Have a great night, tomorrow will be even better! :) You're break will be here soon!

leeumom on 02/06/2008:
I've heard that before about yoga. At our Tops (take off pounds sensibly) meeting tommorrow night someone is going to do a presentation on it. I'm looking forward to hearing about it. Your break will be here before you know it. Enjoy.

mmuraro on 02/07/2008:
Yoga is a workout and also calms you down. I think maybe if you try to just go, you'll be less prone to snacking and also you might even find more time for everything. Sometimes I am like this. The more I do the more I can find time to do, weird, but worth a try!

TheMother on 02/07/2008:
I guess the studying has to take precedence over the yoga but soon you'll have a school break and can fit some in then. Thanks for your comments on my journal. I appreciate your insight. Have a GOOD day! TM

Weight: 127.0

overall calories: 2250. oops. I chose to have some ice cream, almonds, pineapple sweetened cottage cheese after dinner. It's all good.

Today is going well...I did have lots of (good) carbs after school: Two large apples, Kombucha tea, and a banana. total about 400 cal. At least it was really healthy, despite some extra sugars.

Calories so far: 1050 before dinner. I'll eat about 400 for dinner, maybe more. I'm being lenient tonight. It's gonna be a long one. I will walk on the treadmill NO MORE than a 1/2 hour. watch tv/study. I need some tv on when i study sometimes. haha. good distraction.

exercise: none

today at school I saw really poor behavior from a lot of the kids. Made my day much more challenging, especially bc there were a lot of subs working with me. Some kids took advantage! :( Oh well...better NOT get stressed about it. LOL, i should have laughed it off even more!!

Progress as of today: 0 lbs lost so far, only 17 lbs to go!

mmuraro on 02/05/2008:
Hey, good deal on the healthy carbs. You can have a good dinner and a good total cal overall. So are you a teacher?

thinnsidenotout on 02/05/2008:
Too bad you had to deal with disrespectful students...Makes it hard on the ones that really want to learn... Tomorrow will be better..Keep up the good work!

hollybelle on 02/05/2008:
Kids! I don't know how the teachers do it, really! Good day you had. YAY!

workingit2 on 02/05/2008:
Kids get away with so much poor behavior at home anymore, it is shameful. You reminded me that I need some bananas! lol have a great evening =)

shadetree on 02/06/2008:
My stepmother is retiring this year - she was my oldest brother's fourth grade teacher, and he will be 45 next month. I really don't know how she's done it all these years!

I always had to have the tv on when I studied too...My husband used to get irritated, couldn't understand how I could study with the noise - I used to tell him that it helps drown out the voices in my head. (I think that scared him a little, but he doesn't understand that what I meant was it distracts me just enough that I don't start thinking about all the other stuff I needed to get done etc...)

anyway, hope you have a great day!

mylifechanges on 02/06/2008:
Hi friend! Just checking in with you. It's been so long- and I feel terrible! I'm glad to see that you're still kicking! I'm sorry that you're having a hard time with your kids at school. I always find that frustrating as well, but you're right- it's easier to laugh your way through it. :) Have a wonderful day!

harleygirl79 on 02/06/2008:
God Bless ya for what you do. We had 2 teachers assaulted here in Cleveland over the last month. One had his neck broken and has taught at the school for 30 years. He wants to go back. I believe teachers are an extrordinary breed.

rae_regenbogen on 02/06/2008:
I always like having the t.v on when I study too. I can't focus when the room is too quiet, but music with lyrics is too distracting. Television or instrumental music always seems to help! :)

borntocry on 02/06/2008:
Hi HoP! Glad to see things are going a little better for you, despite the kids causing you trouble. My best friend is also a teacher, and I must say, I don't know how you guys do it! I'd be running out of the classroom in tears every time, haha!

Thanks for your comment. You know me too well! Cooking is exactly what I did do last night. It was productive, especially as everything I made turned out well, although my husband complained about the smell, kind of like your mom.

If you're interested, you can see a picture of that treacherous rye and honey "croissant" over here:

I apoligize for less commenting right now, but its necessary I do at least a little studying. I like to comment on everyone at once, not a few here and there...so if you don't see a comment right away, that is why! :)

edit: I am off to yoga...then dinner and studying...then bed :) I am looking foward to a good evening and no binging. Today was a great day! :)

Today's calories: 1740, but I'm definitely counting today as a success. pretty balanced eating, too.

Today's exercise 1hr, 45 min.

Total FEB exercise: 4hrs, 35 min :)

I walk into this Monday morning with high hopes for today. I want it to be a success as well as the days following. Of course, in the back of my mind, I have my recent struggle and 4 day binge, but I really do want success long-term - and not just to make up for four lousy days.

I woke up pretty early because I went to bed early so I'm sipping on carbonated tea and I will take a brief 15 min walk on the treadmill soon. I am not going to push morning exercise because I get too hungry while at work.

CritterMom on 02/04/2008:
What is carbonated tea?

workingit2 on 02/04/2008:

Have fun at yoga! So glad to see you getting back into it! Glad you're having a great day!

mmuraro on 02/04/2008:
Yes, that decision about today and the days to follow is the most important thing. Also, I am all for having a treat when you want to, even it's fatty, but one serving. Then you don't let your craves add up. Have a great night!

Donkey on 02/04/2008:
It sounds like it went well for you today! Good for you!!!! Maybe we can get in sync now, with both of us having good days at the same time.

leeumom on 02/05/2008:
How are you doing weight wise? Don't see the current weight. My Kopsman does the grocery shopping and he gets individual items to take to work. Then I feel like I get alot. Might be a lean small entree, yogurt (low calorie), small fruit, box of rasins, granola bar and lots of water. It is fun going thru frig and pantry to see what to grab. Makes it less for decisions also. Keep up the positive attitude. You can do it. Drink lots of water!!!!! guzzle!!!!!!!

so_devine on 02/05/2008:

Weight: 0.0

Evening edit: total calories are a wonderful 1360 which i'm so happy about. My 4day binge is officially over.

exercise: a wonderful 4 miles (1hr, 20 min.)

total FEB exercise: 2hrs, 50 min.

Afternoon entry:

calories so far are 880. NO need to go back for more because i just had a satisfying meal! I wanted to do yoga but i am still feeling the effects of ingesting too many sugar free candies so i cannot go today. I will walk at the park though. I plan to walk 4miles. come home, relax, study, go to bed early so I can have a positive start to the week and make it a good one.

mcwoo40 on 02/03/2008:
Hiya,Be careful of those sugar free sweets. The ones we get over here say on the packet if you have too many they are a form of laxative. It's great to have a good healthy meal iside of you is'nt it.Now stay clear of the kitchen!!Julie

workingit2 on 02/03/2008:
Ohhh yes, the dreaded sugar alcohols...I know your pain LOL. Enjoy your day!

thinnsidenotout on 02/03/2008:
RE: water consumption- I have always heard that any form of drink is considered to have some water in it, but consider the rest of the recipe, especially sodium (depletes any positive effect of the water).I think that tea (basically flavored pure water) would be condideration for being a pure water source and be able to be counted as 100%, but do your research and don't depend upon me for that to be the honest truth..... I really pay attention to the color & smell of my urine (sorry everybody, but it is true) and that helps me know if I am getting plenty of what my body needs...Now, I do take"VITAMINS/HERBS", and the color/smell is effected by that sometimes... especially "B" vitamins...

Truthfully, I have found that I am drinking about 96-120 oz. of pure water a day. That is well water, not city/county provided..I have told myself, if I could down 64 oz. of diet pepsi a day (yes, that is what I would sometimes consume prior to 2 weeks ago), I could at least consume that or much more of water... I love water and that is not the case with most people. I sometimes do put a glass with 1/2 ice, lemon slice, then the rest ice...fill the glass with water and it has a refreshing tweek on plain water...

thinnsidenotout on 02/03/2008:
RE: Water consumption: I forgot something..... You asked if I find it hard to get the water in while I am at home... I am a 13 year, stay-at-home mom/babysitter, so I don't know any different- hoping to change that within the next couple years, getting a job... When I do get out of the house... I have been keeping bottled (recycled H2O bottles)water out on the front doorstep and I grab one on my way to the car. The weather here has been freezing every day, so I put the bottle on the dash of the car, the defroster does the rest and I have my ICE cold H2O to nurse on...

mmuraro on 02/03/2008:
Good to see you're feeling better! 880 is too little though, make sure you have a nice dinner!

shadetree on 02/03/2008:
Hey HoP! Sounds like you are doing much better today. RE: your question, my son just turned 13. This is my second year homeschooling - he was in the public school, they moved him up a grade in fourth grade, but he was still bored to tears. That coupled with social issues (since he is younger and smaller, he naturally gets picked on) and things like the kid inthe classroom next to his bringing a loaded gun to school and pointing it at someone for 'stealing his girlfriend' (a sixth grader!) I had enough. So I homeschool, which is a challenge when I work fulltime and then some! My husband is a stay-at-home dad, so homework/reports/projects and whatnot are done during the day when I'm at work, and instruction takes place at night, early mornings or on weekends. Luckily, my son is very intelligent and history, science, geography, economics, music (he's learning the guitar) he can pretty much do independent study - he has a schedule to stick with and he gets it done, understands it all. The only things needing instruction for the most part are algebra and spanish. So I suppose it could be worse! just glad I don't have to teach other people's kids! And to think at one time I wanted to be a teacher - I just don't have the patience! My hat goes off to all educators!

workingit2 on 02/03/2008:
Congratulations, HOP! =)

mmuraro on 02/03/2008:

CritterMom on 02/04/2008:
Glad to hear the binge is over. Good job on the exercise!

horn_of_plenty - Saturday Feb 02, 2008

Weight: 0.0

saturday night i had some sugar free candies...too many. i paid for it because i was in the bathroom ALL night!

saturday: 3700 cal. could be worse? lol. my goal is to NOT binge for the rest of the school year...and then never after that! a binge means eating more food than i make for myself, going back for seconds, etc. As long as I eat a portion and move on, I haven't binged.

tomorrow i have class...then yoga if i get out in time. otherwise, I'm taking a walk at the park.

today's exercise was kinda different. I walked with my grandmother and a slightly slow pace, but not really slow at all. so, i'm counting the hour we walked as one hour.

total exercise in feb: 1.5 hours. ok.

tomorrow is my test and i still have some studying to do. Based on how this test goes, i'll know what this teacher expects for the rest of the semester.

I am feeling better now and I do not see a need to binge again. It was a bad four days, since Wednesday, but they have passed and I'm looking foward to the future. :) Sometimes the idea of uncertainty of the future, my current lack of luster job, and just my current state really get me "down in the dumps," as a 2nd grader said to his friend the other day on the playground. haha, i thought it was so funny. anyway, i'm better, i'm stronger...i'm ready.

fyi, i got the results of how i did on one of the two entrance exams i took. I'm applying to four programs...and 3 exams were necessary. I got a 92 on the math, 96 on the reading, and a whopping 79 on the science. I laughed when i read the science score bc i knew i didn't do that well. Good thing is, it's the total average of the three parts that matters. I was invited back to observe there which means all is good! I also have an interview coming up later in February. Everything is so up in the air, I cannot wait till there is some certainty...then I will think about a job for the summer.

thinnsidenotout on 02/02/2008:
So glad to hear you are feeling better and your "binge fringe" is over for now.... relief came in getting the exam results as well.....hand in hand maybe! HAVE A GREAT rest of your weekend!

hollybelle on 02/03/2008:

Saturday. 3,000 so far. 10:20am

as for exercise, i haven't done much for an entire week! I'm not doing yoga today - too little time and i don't want to feel rushed. My plan is to resume yoga after tomorrow's class and test. Then, I have a promise with myself to commit to yoga 5X a week or more.

3000 cals today. Could have been 1500 but i binged in both the morning and evening. evening calories included some ice cream/nuts/peanut butter/cookies...and boy do I want some more...

30 min exercise.

borntocry on 02/01/2008:
HoP, do what I've been doing and start weighing yourself every night before you go to bed. You may have to be scared into breaking this habit...

mmuraro on 02/01/2008:
I agree. You'll want to stop when you see the weight go up. But more important than the weight, it's that binging is self destructive and you need to be good to yourself. Have one portion of ice cream if you want to. Slowly. And enjoy it. Or a couple of cookies.

thinnsidenotout on 02/01/2008:
Hang in there.....You've done it before and you CAN do it again.... Good Luck!

shadetree on 02/02/2008:
You don't want to go to yoga because you are concerned about your energy levels/ability to study after. Personally, when I eat a lot, I've got absolutely no energy, and I would assume is the same with you...So you aren't going to yoga and you are still taxing your energy levels by consuming excessive quantities...I know logic does not usually factor into our decision, but I just felt like I needed to point out how illogical this is. (Which I know you are intelligent enough to already know this...sometimes someone saying it out loud helps us admit it...) How are things with your parents/your sister? anything going on with the dating scene? Just trying to get a sense if it is the stress from school triggering this or if perhaps there are other issues pushing you over the edge...How much water are you drinking daily? Just another thought...

Have a good visit with your grandmother today. Eat the candies SLOWLY throughout the day...remember how much better it is when you eat SLOWLY and give your body a chance to tell you 'enough already'...You can do this!

workingit2 on 02/02/2008:
Congrats on a start to a great day!

so_devine on 02/02/2008:
thats a great idea to buy low calorie hard boil sweets to chew on through out the day. i will try that and get back to you on this. :-D

their is another thing you can try i do this, buy chewing gum and when you feel the need to eat something pop a chewing gum in your mouth then you wont want the erge to eat inbetween meals/ snacks.

mcwoo40 on 02/02/2008:
Have a great Saturday,Julie.

shadetree on 02/02/2008:
What's going on HoP?

borntocry on 02/02/2008:
Can't you get out of the house? Go to a library to study? That's what I used to do at university - we could never study in our rooms. You'll get more work done with less distractions and far less calories.

Donkey on 02/02/2008:
Are you taking Anatomy & Physiology? Let me tell you right now, resolve to have no free time whatsoever. That class is a killer. LOTS of memorization. TONS of info to process and remember. It's an icky class. A lot of pre-nursing students have to take it, so this is one of those classes that weeds out the weak from the strong, the dedicated to those who just want a fat paycheck.

So keep this in mind, don't fly off the handle with bingeing, or you will spend the whole semester eating. It's just a very hard hurdle to overcome.

horn_of_plenty - Thursday Jan 31, 2008

Weight: 0.0

today's binge and calories = 3600 if i totaled it right. yesterday was 4300. i'm not doing well right now. i will do better. I will not restrict very much tomorrow or i will defitely binge.

i'm definitely stuffed and hurting...

this may be too much to think about, but if i even eat 1500 per day for only 5 days, but daily total would average 2200 for a week. that's not even terrible. ouch, my stomach hurts.

i was sweating all night last night from everything inside of me...i'll be doing that tonight as well. Why don't i just go to yoga instead of eating? I feel like if i go to yoga, i'll have no energy left to study. boy, i need to CALM DOWN!

workingit2 on 01/31/2008:

This is just something you go through once in a while. It is a normal pattern for you. Don't worry today about counting how many 1500 calorie days you need in order to correct your binges. You had the binges...those days are done...just try and start over again tomorrow and don't twist those binge days into your other non-binge days. Take care of yourself.

borntocry on 01/31/2008:
That sweating thing happens to me too after a binge... terrible. I used to eat a lot whenever I had to study for an exam or something at college. At some point I switched to drinking lots of coffee instead, and that helped a lot. I know it isn't the healthiest solution but you could try decaf, herbal tea, something to keep you occupied and fill you up a little without adding calories...

maria777 on 01/31/2008:
It sounds like you are definitely STRESSED about something...wanna share? We are all here for you!

thinnsidenotout on 01/31/2008:
How much are you trying to lose? That really will tell. Plus are you getting the right nutrients/vitamins? Sometimes our body craves what we are lacking and it isn't all just wanting something to eat, just for eating sake or stress.. You mention what you WILL DO (i.e. binge), but try telling yourself what you WON'T DO....Weight loss has got to be done in a healthy fashion, in order for it to behoove oneself... That is why most of us are trying to lose the weight-to be healthy...Good Luck to you in whatever it is your going through. I am not wanting to seem preachy, but have seen that you are suffering, for some reason or another... Much granted success!

CritterMom on 02/01/2008:
What are you studying? Big test? Something very critical that you need to do well on? Your brain will work better if you are giving it PROPER nutrients...so start digging down deep and making yourself eat what your body actually needs to have, NOT what it WANTS to have. You do have control over this, you just have to smack that hand as it reaches for the wrong thing and say "NO! I won't do this to myself this time." Then grab an apple to munch on while you're studying.

I know, you're rolling your eyes at me right now, but honestly, this is what I do. Yesterday, I REALLY wanted some chocolate and knew that there was some on a kitchen shelf (hubby brought me a "treat"...yeah, thanks a lot!). As I was reaching up to the shelf, I stopped myself and said "NO. You are NOT doing that. Not after all the darn exercise and effort you've put into this week. NO!" I managed to walk away from it, and took the dogs for a walk, instead.

Weight: 0.0

Thursday entry: so this morning didn't go that well. I indulged in a sugary yogurt, canned fruit, and LOTS of nuts and peanut butter. I hope I calculated right because I think i either forgot to add in one more serving of nuts of peanut butter. I guess it really doesn't matter that much anyway. total calories throughout my day until work ends will be 1700. My goal for total calories today is 2100 or 2200. This is possible but I feel like having a goal sets me up for more binging later after work.

39 hours, 10 minutes is my final January 2008 exercise. I didn't reach 40 due to binging and bad planning.

Wednesday entry:

after all my talk of not binging anymore, i did just that. meaning, i woke up at 3am because of worrying, had a stressful day, came home and binged. approx. calories: 4300.

i actually feel sick right now. my stomach is full. done. i can only hope to not binge for awhile now - meaning for a couple weeks. Lack of sleep and stress about the class i'm taking is what contributed to this nasty binge.

some items included: 2 huge brownies, cookies, tons of ice cream, peanut butter, potato knish, frankfuters...etc.

25min walk in AM.

perhaps another short walk later. no yoga.

i haven't been commenting...i don't feel up to it right now.

I will repeat what i have written recently, saying binging is not the same anymore, neither is the desired effects a binge produces. I feel bad and its not worth the calories. I must say, the food didn't even taste very good! There are too many temptations in my house. (I don't buy them and its not up to me to tell anyone what to buy nor do i want to.)

mmuraro on 01/30/2008:
Sorry about your day. Stress is a killer. On the other hand, when I binge like that, I always feel sick and don't want to do that for a while. Try to remember how it feels now, that will help you avoid it later. On the other hand you have been doing good in the past days. Get back on track, and if you're stressed out right now, do what you can to feel better, you can always diet tomorrow. Chin up, girl.

workingit2 on 01/30/2008:
I know exactly how you feel, especially AFTER the binge. Don't beat yourself up, you have been doing really well and I gues that sometimes it is part of our makeup to have a day where we eat out of stress, especially if that is what our bodies and mind have been trained to do! Take care of yourself and stop thinking those negative thoughts about yourself!! =)

maria777 on 01/30/2008:
Well, I guess you don't feel like commenting right now, but that's okay. You'll get back on track. I've had my food-binges...many of them...but the good thing is YOU CAN ALWAYS GET BACK ON TRACK!!! Lots of love sent your way!

shadetree on 01/30/2008:
Don't you have a masters? If you made it this far, you really shouldn't stress so much about this class. I know (not from experience, but from the conversations of others) that it may be tough, there is a LOT to learn, but hey, my mother took it - never having a college course in her life - when she was turning 50 (going for her EMT certification) and she ended up doing very well. You can do this....

shadetree on 01/30/2008:
Okay - even if you don't want to know...you commented so I'm going to tell you my theory on the frost INSIDE the windows...Okay, you get ice built up on the windshield and windows. Now, if it is WARM inside the car - there are times where condensation will form on the inside of the glass - like ice in a drinking glass, the water forms on the outside, just reverse it. Then the temp drops so rapidly that it freezes on the inside of the windows - and VOILA! frost inside the windows! That's my theory - I;m sure if I'm way off someone will let me know, but it makes sense to me!

borntocry on 01/31/2008:
Me too. I also think it's partly because of stress, only now I am even more stressed out and depressed because of this. I have also noticed that the food doesn't even taste good any more. It's just not worth it. I wish we could put an end to this horrible behaviour once and for all. Or at least a couple of weeks, as you say!! Do you think we should each try to see how long we can go without bingeing?

caz on 01/31/2008:
Just remember we are all here for support..So if you need a shoulder you know where we are.. Be kind to yourself and take it one day at a time.. Good luck.

workingit2 on 01/31/2008:
I know how hard it is to get back on track after a rough day. Don't sweat it, just relax and know that this will pass..you ARE doing so much better even if you don't remember that right now =)

thinnsidenotout on 01/31/2008:
ONE Day at a time, as someone else said...maybe getting yourself a daily menu in order, either first thing in the morning or the night before..It sure does help.... check in with you later...

mcwoo40 on 01/31/2008:
Hope you are having a better day today,Julie

mmuraro on 01/31/2008:
That happens to the best of us! Instead of trying to restrict too much to compensate the past few days, just start eating well and healthy from now on and forget about the past. Hope you sleep better tonight!
