Tomorrow's weather will be sunny enough for a nice walk home, quite possibly the full 3mi, from the subway so no bus...really trying to keep the improvements on my legs and body. pushups were a mess tonight...but, moving forward :)


Happy Short Week for me, Happy thursday already!

Kombucha 70

Breakfast: wrap and cream cheese with lox 300 :) and coffee 50. 

Snack: some kinda bar i have :) atkins cookie dough flavor very very nice. newish flavor 220 and 3 candies 60..280, ALMONDS 50

Lunch: from home! leftover garlic mashed cauliflower 100, SMALL VEGGIE SALAD W. DRESSING LEFTOVER FROM DAD :) 50 few fresh smallish peppers 50, leftover turkey burger !! 100?, CHIPS 150 :) nice. 450 approx.

snack: - almonds 50 and HALF clementine, half apple (shared them) 150 total here.

snack before exercise: 3 cookies (a package_) 180 and coffee 50...for sure. 250, lox 50

During exercise: need to pick up coconut water 100, mentos 50, cauliflower cheese crackers 130

exercise took approx 3 hours with breaks....so, yeah....i started at 8pm and ending around 11pm...late night. plus going on a "lunch date" tomorrow....hmmm...gonna be tired :(...don't wanna wear makeup tho?!

After exercise: - maybe cooked cranberries and yogurt...OR one of my nice light ice creams! ...the latter sounds more my style for tonight! haven't had ice cream in a long time...craved it on my florida trip but chose not to buy it as to be very simple at her house (besides all my kombuchas in the fridge, lol). Cliff Bar..260

2200. not the most satisfying night but i'm done eating. also, i must begin exercise earlier than 8pm during the week...but tonight i'm just glad i got it in :)

The last workout i did was only a week ago, Thursday night. So, I'm very on track by only taking a week off.  I am very happy about this as well as getting a workout in tonight. I will be a little tired, but, with it being a short week it's easy to motivate myself to do it tonight. Then, on Sunday, i can do my next workout anytime that day.  :-)  Everything is going pretty smoothly getting back into the swing of things.

My time off - 2 week vacation was nice. The first 1.5 weeks were relaxing and not rushed. The Long last weekend from Friday night until I left on Tuesday were partying and fast-paced with little sleep because a friend of mine came in from NY to party it up with me! she stayed with me at my friend's house too! And i was obviously not letting her down in terms of partying!

Yes, happy to be home because 2 weeks is a pretty long vacation and life is not supposed to be that way. We work to get the vacation :) I understand that and i'm thankful i had that chance to go away for such a nice, long time.

Other than being sleepy with a hoarse voice from talking lots of smoking hookah ...i'm very good.

Part of my PLANNING of this trip was so it would be easier to leave for it and come back from it with a short week leading into it and coming out of it in terms of the work week.

I will most probably plan all trips while i'm at this company based on midweek flights to save money but also to make a short week leading into vacation and a short week coming home from vacation. this helped GREATLY.

Happy Wednesday, short week, back to work !!!!!!!! Happy to be here and not fired or anything! LOL~~~~ soon catching up on your diaries....after i get back into the swing of things here and at home!

1PM lunch - didn't bring it...will eat heavy on the veggies. hot meal from nearby buffet. Sauteed eggplant thing 200, with nasty mushrooms, roasted brussel sprouts, cucumbers, 100, turkey hot nice and fresh 150. . and apple 100. 550.

2:30pm Snack: chocolate and coffee 150

4:30: couple candies, some salt and vinegar almonds 100

dinner, 6:30-7pm: egg/egg white/small pepper: 100, popcorn 150, mashed garlic cauliflower from Bird's Eye frozen food 100, clementine 50. total 400. and a Zevia drink Grapefruit Citrus. extra Vitamin C...going to have to load up i think on Vitamin C.

 5day: 2080 - quite excellent.

no extra exercise today other than walking to and from public transportation and some walking at lunch. still recoveering from last couple days in Florida. 

I want to do my weights routine tomorrow night...i will try to push it to happen since then it's already friday and then the weekend!  :)


 Plan for tonight is to sleep early (feeling very tired since i didn't sleep much on my last weekend in Florida!). last night i was able to fully unpack and clean up. and tonight still i need rest. Tomorrow i'm planning my first weights session since last Thursday night. So i took a week off :)


someone ate most of my gum and almonds, lol. at least everything else is here - def not upset lol :-)  just happy to be here. Coming back to my supervisor, i see how effective and intelligent she is...glad she's my supervisor holy mackeral!

yeah, i think i know who...the biggest boss in my area of the company. they ate all my gum i think!...leaving just a few pieces. not upset at all :) everything else is intact :)

Thought of one more thing I'd want to do if I ever make it to Florida during the right season. Eat stone crab claws. Love snow crab, like king crab, and somewhat like several other types of crab, but have never tried stone crab claws.

Last night  I left gym at midnight and then went to a 24 hour Walmart to pick up enough groceries for everyone to last until Tuesday when I leave. I got home to Rosie's he jouse aroind 1:30am and took a sleeping pill to sleep in which worked. Tonight will Be going out and I'm just mostly relaxing now a tad her place. I'll shower soon tonsit by pool. Lazy day especially after going to been at 2am and taking a sleeping pill Bc I was not sleeping so much the couple days before bc everyone stays up pretty late and I was waking up from Rosie's alarms in am and getting up earliest making her breakfast and being productive! Today I have the house to myself bc her sister webt to gym and rosie and her hubby at working so I'm enjoying that alone time ! And I have all new groceries and some veggies so I am happy and content ! Things will start moving fast tomorrow as mundane friend Jen flies in at 9:30am! Plans are possibly a nude beach and another beach tomorrow as well as party out at night!

sunday thinking ziplining a couple hours away but must confirm with the gang.

minday we will get more piercings and I'm getting a tattoo!

Shots and fries...... sounds like a bit of a weird combination. Only thing I remember eating while drinking back in the day was pizza. But it's been a long time, so maybe my memory is fuzzy.

Enjoy the warm weather while you can. Will probably be another couple months before NYC warms up that much.

 Aunt took a protein bar and I totally told her I'm taking it back Bc it's mine !!!! Cheers - I'll stay home until rosie comes back so I can keep an eye on her sneaky lying aunt . I said I was wondering where the third bar went and she replied she wouldn't know she didn't not eat any - right ! She also left me a slice of salami in the whole package lol what a moron !  So I will def stay here watching her 

her aunt left - also texted rosie early that I was being mean to her daughter ! Not at all- daughter was sleeping ! So sad that people are so evil.

I wished aunt / her daughter a safe flight and said bye - she ignored me. She is a disgrace to humanity

Thank goodness the aunt is gone. It's too bad that she kind of put a damper on the majority of your vacation. Not that she affected you that much but rather like a dark cloud hovering over the whole thing. Bleah.

then i I went to Rosie's work since I took the only working car as their other  car has a flat tire

I'm having trouble with the story I'm telling as I can't write on my cell phone so after I noticed the mushroom container washed that I just put the cooked food in, I asked where the food was and the aunt says she re salvaged the mushrooms into the pasta dish she made on the stove !  So thank gosh I took some of what I made to the pool with me Bc she used the entire thing I made to mix with pasta, tomato sauce and some cheese!!!!

i was shocked and frustrated she used the full thing and didn't leave me any. But this is the aunt - very mean and angry human being also on vaca and Rosie's house with her daughter till sometime Thursday it seems.

shes just thoughtless...and I am starting to not give a F about even talking to her. I am nice to her and it causes her to be more rude and step over bounds.

i refuse to buy more food till she leaves.

what she made is actually nice if you like pasta Bc She I think added White beans too.

the point is simply She didn't think to ask or say she'd use it?

like you all know, i don't list pasta or even a pasta with veggies as a usual thing i eat so I was just shock when I saw what she turned my food into. And how it's not a low calorie option  now.

But I didn't actually buy the veggies - for the particular mushroom dish I made. I made it to use the ingredients specifically Bc they have been in the fridge the whole time and I didnt want them to spoil. So I made what I like and to share only with the nice people - I said nothing to the aunt about it - she watched me slicing a thousand mushrooms though.

I am not angry as I didn't but buy the veggies and it was creative to see how she totally took my stuff and out it it into hers.

the annoying thing is she just assumed it'd be ok to use my work for hers.

In morning I washed towels and cooked up some veggies rosie had in her fridge before they went to waste. I used garlic which I individually sliced up and then a huge amount of mushrooms that I washed and cut and decided to use the remainder of the spinach before it went bad.

I finished it around 11am and was super happy. I took a little bit to the pool with me around noon to have with a sandwich I made of food I bought.

i sat at pool from 12-1:30.


i came back to check on towels which someone took outta dryer and put away.


i noticed that my veggie container of all the mushrooms was washed and dried.

It was mostly 69 so a littl cool but I took some awesome photos at pool and made sure to clean and be neat and make sandwiches and some food for Rosie and Kareem. Took a walk and gym. It's nice to be waking up later and not working and I'm learning life Lessons out here :-)

I'm a guy, so my advice / opinion might not work for you.....

My opinion is: You're on vacation. Don't give it another thought. Go out and enjoy the weather and the different surroundings. No good can come of any mention of the veggies / aunt to your friends. I'm sure the number of guests at one time has been a bit of a burden on them, but they've been gracious enough to house everyone. In that type of situation, the most thoughtful thing for a guest to do would be to not add any additional stress to the hosts.

Just my opinion.....

My 2 cents:

As you mentioned, it could have been worse, as she could have used food that you bought for yourself! But this was not the case, so there's one reason to let this go.

In addition to what Gains and Bear said - relax, you're on vacation - crowd dynamics, etc. - I would say to keep in mind that you are not co-existing with a woman who is on the same level as you. Not that she's irrational, but I have this quite a few times with clients who are either perpetually dissatisfied or worried or antagonistic. I have to realize that these people are limited in how they can interact in the world, and so I treat them differently - perhaps more cheerfully or gently -- than I would someone who is polite and is able to understand where I'm coming from.

I think that this crazy aunt would fall into the "difficult client" category, too.

I don't think it ever occurred to her to take your feelings into consideration or save some of what you made aside -- none of that. She is angry, hurtful, and self-centered. You're not going to change that in 3 days. Don't let her toxic personality poison your vacation. You yourself said you were going to keep your distance and keep the food that YOU buy separate from what she has access to. Do this for your friend; do this for yourself.

I might add though, that any jury of 12 people working a keto diet would have your back and acquit. Just sayin'.... Mixing those delicious vegetables with pasta?!? UGH!

PS Is anyone eating her pasta dish? It would be hilarious if she made that and nobody ate any of it. Of course, that's not good either because it's a waste of food, which is exactly what you were trying to avoid. If you're faced with having to eat it, I'd make a point of picking out all the pasta -- but that's me. Sometimes this Donkey can be a real B****.

The aunt hearing her talk - I've learned to try not to be negative and work harder to see things from a positive angle.
