Weight: 312.3

Lazy day. DH and little girl went shopping. I stayed home and washed clothes and not much else. Didn't eat very well this weekend. B: iced vanilla latte, blueberry scone

L: hamburger

D: chicken, spinach and feta sausage (2)

S: I ate a apple fritter

Ended the day with 1574 calories.

Progress as of today: 9.3 lbs lost so far, only 102.3 lbs to go!

Weight: 312.3

Picked up the little girl and what do you know she is sick, hacking and coughing, sniffling and sneezeing. Oh Great! We couldn't decide what we wanted to eat so we go to Golden Corral. I asked for the $2.99 take home plate (for my dog) and of course they don't have it during the 'weekend' because they have prime rib and it is expensive and blah, blah, blah. Well, that's not what the commerical says. Also they didn't have 'breakfast all day' either, I guess because they had prime rib.

Well I had the prime rib too and it was cold. I ate a healthy salad and a piece of some kind of steak. I tried to eat two different kind of vegetables, but they were mushy so I didn't finish them. I did have two dinner rolls, this is good, the last time we ate here, I think I had four or five. I had a few tastes of a couple of desserts: carrot cake, coconut creme pie and chocolate pudding, but nothing tasted good to me and DH ended up eating most of it. I finished the day with 1829 a little higher than normal.

We got home and was roped into watching the Disney Channel...DH of course always falls asleep, leaving me....I get irritated.

DH was up with the little girl during the night, because if she coughs more than twice in a row he is running in there for her. He made her go downstairs to sleep in the recliner so her sinus would 'quit' running down her throat making her cough. I think he slept on the couch besider her...because? He comes back to bed about 4:30 I think, just to get up at 6:00 and go to work, leaving me...

So I get up, give the little girl her medicine and then ask if she feels like going out. Oh of course, there is nothing wrong with her! So we go to the Home Depot to do the kid's project, along with every other families with kids in Elyria! Breakfast McDonalds and then on to other places for the errands. I wanted edible gold spray paint for St. Patrick's Day, but they have every color except gold, so I scrapped that idea. We get DH the apple fritters he wanted, go through a few thrift shops (For another idea I have for a costume for the adult egg hunt) stop at the dollar store and pick up some candy for the movie we have planned. No lunch.

I cooked salisbury steak, mashed potatoes and steamed brocolli. It was good. I eneded the day with 1790 calories. Both nights more than I am used to eating, but I guess it is OK for now. DH finally got home and we went to the movie to see Zootopia, it was cute. On the way the little girl was feeding DH some bamboozled jelly beans. He had flavors like, skunk, dirty socks, rotten eggs and snot. I was laughing so hard I couldn't see to drie. It was so funny. DH said he was through! And was a big party pooper and carried this attitude into the movie. During the movied he would NOT sit still. I asked him to quit squirming and this makes him mad too. So when we are leaving, I made the comment that ...dude, can you NOT sit still ever? and he gets pissy, well my knee is still healing and I had to straighten it out and blah, blah, blah. So then why did you have to move the other one! Why can't guys just be like...yeah I couldn't get comfortable...sorry! I will never hear that word out of his mouth...EVER! So he says he wanted to go to Wal-mart, I said not me I will go home and wash dishes and you can go to Wal-Mart, so this is the plan. The first thing he does when he gets into the house is start calling the little girl over to take her medicine! Really? Like she will just die without it! I just resent this behavoir.  He just got back and now he's like come and take this cough medicine, do this, do that! Oh EM GEE!!! I get so tired of his coddling and hand holding! This girl is 11 not five or six!  What can I get you baby! Do you need anyhing baby? Are you OK baby? not once, not twice, but all during the freaking evening!

I hate being married right this minute! I hate being a step mother right this minute. i just wish they would both fall asleep so I wouldn't have to listen to them. I guess I'm irritated because I didn't get this treatment when I was sick for the last three weeks....maybe because his knee was hurting, but I seriously doubt it!

And if I ever want to do anything, we usually talk ourselves out of it, but let the little girl be here and he is all gung ho! I guess I just never felt like a second class citizen until now. WOE IS ME I guess!

I hope I am in a better frame of mind tomorrow!

Weight: 312.3

2246 calories. This includes 6 cowtails which equals 660 calories. I used to not keep track and I would think this was OK. But now since I have been counting calories I am mortified. Now I say this, but in all actuality I enjoyed eating them. I just wish I could stop after one or two at the most! This is the reason I don't have sweets in my house, but DH!

We had baked chicken last night and stuffing. We were eating and I asked, what is wrong with this food? DH looks at me and says, nothing it is good! I tell him, we have no vegetable. He just shrugs his shoulders and said, we will tomorrow. So it is only the thrid day of the third month and I can already see us not doing good things in the future.  I just cannot let myself go down this road again.

I was up at 12:45 with the dog. I read some articles about how to help the dog lose weight. I have him so spoiled, I ruined my dog. I will have to take some great measures to get him back to his regular size. I am glad it is Friday. We have some plans this weekend, but some of them depend on the weather. I might be adventurous anyway.

hiking, crafting, shopping and movieing. We were going to go see Jaws while swimming in the pool at the rec center, but I'm thinking it will be too cold and I do NOT want to be sick again, so I have decided to go see the Zootopia movie instead.

B: multi grain cheerios, milk

L: left over baked chicken sandwich, chips, cowtail (I had an orange, but when I started to peel it, the bottom half was soft and squishy so I tossed it) I love how the oranges look so orange, plump and vibrant in the store and when I get them home, they swivel up and get nasty).

S: sargento balanced break

D: we are going out somewhere. I do not have a clue where, so I can't even try to plan something healthy. I have been given multiple choices but it's not my pick tonight.

Have a great Friday peeps! IP OUT

Picked up the little girl from her mom's house. I see the van and ask if her mom is home. She tells me yes and her step-dad is finally out of the hospital, but he is still wearning an eye patch and the doctor told them they need to get out of the house and do some kind of exercise. This is funny to me, it sounds like they couldn't exercise without the doctor's permission.

I need gas and I stop and get some. I just get gas. When we are leaving, she says 'I can't wait to get home, I am so, so thirsty'. This was my subliminal hint that she wanted an icy or something from the gas station. This irriates me. Now I know why everytime she goes with DH they come back with icees and fountain drinks.  I will not be played by an eleven year old!

She has no homework, I am glad for this. DH was at the house and breaded the pork chops, he had to leave for the dentist. I hang out for a few minutes and then put the pork chops in the oven and peel some potatoes and open green beans. Once DH gets home we eat and all is good.

I finished the night with 1594 calories.

I asked DH to text the ex for some dates that we need to keep the little girl longer. I purchased tickets to see Matilda at playhouse square and he needed to ask if we could keep the little girl past 8:00. The ex agreed to just let the little girl spend the night. We will take her to school the next morning. - I took the day off work.

The next day was Good Friday - it is not our Friday so we don't have her but I wanted to take her to a glow in the dark Easter egg hunt. It is from 9:00-10:30. This time she says just bring her home. Crap, it is a Friday night. I'm just glad she said the little girl could go. Usually she just says they have plans. When I ask the little girl what those plans are, she says, we did nothing but sit at home. Now maybe with the doctor telling them to get out and do something, maybe they actually will - this is me being sarcastic!

Then because that went so well, we hammered out the four weeks she will be with us this summer. This is good because summer camp enrollment begins next week and now it looks like YES we will be joining the Y!! We did plan our vacation week for July 25 and have decided to go to Pigeon Forge Tenneess. DH has always wanted to go and we can find something to do for everyone. I am hoping my mom will come up again this summer.

So the evening was quite pleasant or I'm just glad that my plans are coming together.

D: baked pork chops, mashed pototes and green beans.

S: Cowtail

Was in bed by 11:00, Was up at 12:30 with the dog and then again at 3:30 for the DH. He was in lots of knee pain, so I gave him a pain killer and an ice pack and he went back to bed. After taking the pain medicine he did NOT want to get up this morning and we were running late.

Because we are running late there is more traffic than usual. Leaving our housing edition, there is no light and usually there is traffic waiting to turn out onto the busier main road. But I noticed three cars were pulled slightly off the road and not moving. I'm wondering what they are doing when as I was waiting at the at the stop sign a school bus approaches and puts on his red flashers. Then the kids exit these vehicles and get on the bus. Now let me just say it was 35 degrees out and they would not have froze by no means. So then the bus just sits there with the flashers on. No one can move. We are there almost three minutes and then here comes a car driving up from behind me and acted like it was going to go around me and then stops and lets another kid out and it runs to the bus. Now, why on earth do you drive your kid to the bus stop? Why not just drive them on to the dang school? I feel kids these days are so coddled and handled with kid gloves that once they get in the real world they are going to have some major rude awakenings.

There is one commerical that condones this. Scrubbing bubbles shame on YOU! The kid is in the bathroom coloring her hair and the mom is like let me in, the kid says NO. And then it shows the mom in the bathroom cleaning up after this kid who just made a purple mess. Why wasn't that kid in there cleaning up it's own mess?

I was just never treated like that growing up. I had to walk to school rain or shine, cold or hot. Oh well, we didn't have air conditioning in school and now kids can't go if it gets too hot, so who knows.

SOrry about that, I just get so irritated, it is nothing I can change, don't know what I let it bother me.

I think I saw chicken out for dinner, can't be sure I was in a hurry.

Have a good night! PEACE Out!

Weight: 312.3

Had a bread binge waiting on dinner last night. DH wanted to bake chicken with a spinach, cream cheese mixture stuffed inside. This took forever to prepare, he cracked open a loaf of fresh Italian bread and that was all it took!

Dinner was the chicken with the spinach cream cheese filling and a kale salad. Because of the bread i ended the night with 1,967 calories.

Dinner was late, everything was askew.

Steve was whining about 12:30, I got up with him and we stayed up about an hour. I ate a cow tail and played candy crush. My stomach started gurgling and I had a few bouts of diarrhea before going back to bed...nasty! I fell asleep and did not even want to get up when the alarm went off.

Tonight I pick up the little girl and right now I just don't want to deal with her on the weekend. DH works all day on Saturday so that leaves me to be a glorified baby sitter. Sometimes, sometimes, I just don't want to do it. This is one of those times. The weather is predicted to be snowy and cold and who wants to do anything outside with that?

DH took pork chops out of the freezer for dinner. I'm not cooking.

B: toast, iced vanilla latte

S: cow tails (DH bought these - they are 101 calories a piece) caramel, creamy goodness I really don't need

L: left over chicken and spinach, cheese doodles, orange

DH and I had the baked potato and left over steak with salad last night for dinner. I ended the day with 1186 calories

I walked the dog! He is the nosiest dog ever, always wants to be in someone else's yard. LOL We walked around the block and he peed on everything.

The little punk woke me up at 12:30 he went outside (he can do this on his own) but needs company some times. I just stayed downstairs a minute and went back to bed. Needless to say it was impossible for me to get up early as planned and DH is so warm it's hard to leave.

So at work we've been trying to get the inventory done. It was due 2/19 and we turned it in on time, however, our reports were not right, so we corrected them and sent them back. When they were sent back the property custodian forgot to click one little box and it was sent back again! The property guy goes on vacation and comes back yesterday so he resubmits the forms again! NOW today, the reports are missing the number 54. This is some asinine time wasting stuff. If a block reads:

Enter your location code 54-: 1111

I entered our location code

The report is wrong now because I should have entered it like this.

Enter your location code 54-: 541111

Seriously if everyone is 54 and 54 is clearly there why on earth do you need to see 54 on the report! Anyway I have ran this report AGAIN for the upteenth time, now if only the property guy can actually get it uploaded correctly we may be in business!

And I'm still working on the 20 year old files - and I'm going to shove PII down someone's throat if I hear about it again!

B: toast, milk, iced vanilla latte, banana - 563

L: tuna, green beans, BBQ chips - 297  (DH forgot crackers and put BBQ chips in my lunch - I do not recommend this combination)

S: orange, balanced breaks - 242

Dinner has something to do with chicken and spinach. I'm not sure.

I have been putting together my letter of complaint to the city and have researched some active shooter articles. i wish I could just hyperlink them in an email, but they don't accept email, so I will have to do it the old fashioned way!

I am also working on my St. Patrick's day activity that was approved by the work guys so that will consits of doing somethings.

DH and I agreed the Y camp would be more compatible with our schedules, so I will hopefully get to the Y soon.

Have a great evening!

Well I guess I can not credit no dairy to no breakouts because I have two more that are erupting. Ugh!! I hate this more than being fat!

Still feel that I have something caught in the back of my throat, a tickle, that just wants me to cough. This is getting rather annoying!

Slept all night and had crazy dreams but I was able to get up easier this morning. We did have to leave earlier because I drop DH off, he DID NOT want to go back to work this morning. I told him to call me if he needed to leave early. He texted at lunch and said he was fine, just a little achy. I guess he will stay there and finish the day.

I was researching summer camps for the little girl. For the past two years she went to the one they had at the university where I worked, but now since I don't work there we have to find another option for her. DH has her four weeks out of the summer (these are non consecutive weeks) so could be a little more tricky. I like the YMCA and maybe, just maybe we will get our fat asses to the Y and work out a little bit (DH did text and say he gained 12 pounds in the three weeks he was home) but it's up for discussion. Next year when my office moves, she can go back to the university one.

And vacations!! OMG How do people afford them? I refuse to charge my credit cards up or use my savings account just to take a week's vacation. I guess I'm in the wrong line of work or I should have married a millionaire! This too will be on the back burner.

Finished the month of February down a little bit more, but I also saw how DH and I started eating sweet treats again. At least once a week, I would rather not do this, it is a very hard thing to NOT do if you have a sweet tooth.

Tomorrow is March 1st. This is the date I have down as to start some kind of exercise. I have been putting it off for two months now and I have no more excuses, except I do not like to feel the pain of getting started. This is what I don't like, again it just reiterates just how out of shape I am.

B: toast with non diary butter

L: tuna, green beans, crackers, orange

D: left over salad, baked potato and steak (it will be a small portion because we are going to split it)

drank two diet dr. peppers at work today.

Bring on MARCH!

I am committing to 20 minutes (or more) of SOME kind of exercise 5 days a week, even if it's putting on music and dancing or walking around the block - and I'm not going to pressure myself to do more. I have to start back somewhere and it's as good a place as any, I think. Congratulations on your loss for FEB!!

Horn_Of_Plenty on 03/01/2016:
Really, you hate the breakouts more than the weight? I actually would rather be thin than have clear skin which is my case this year especially. I’m happy with my weight & happy that I’m maintaining a lower weight…and wish my skin was better – wish I could have both. But I’m happier about my weight than having clear skin! Mine is mostly hormonal. Especially right before / during that time of month ugh! Always hard going back to work after having time off. I was pretty sick last Sept-October and out for 4 weeks. It was a challenge to be back those first few days for sure. Luckily, I had decent coworkers who were extraordinarily nice! Little girl is so lucky to have been able to go to camp and the university. I know there are cheaper town camps – like maybe the YMCA like you said. No, I think there are many hard working people in our boat. I think vacations many times for people are paid thru savings accounts or credit cards. Same for me. That’s why I haven’t been on a week-long vacation in 4 years now….and not ANYTIME soon. I’ll be lucky to have a few 1-nighters or maybe, if I’m lucky, a full weekender maybe next fall. I also am in a place where saving is MUCH more important than blowing it all away. If you drink diet drinks, especially those with caffeine, also try to balance that by alternating with water after or between drinks. For sweets, try NOT to buy them. Buy fruit / yogurt instead. I buy seltzer and sweeten it extra in my cup by dropping in a few drops of liquid stevia. The little stevia bottle is expensive around $10-$20 but lasts months in the fridge. It’s great for making things sweeter for NO CALORIES.

Horn_Of_Plenty on 03/01/2016:
oh..the seltzer is flavored, but I sweeten it anyway with the stevia. makes it like a fruit drink! carbonated. nice.

After all the shopping DH didn't feel like cooking so I picked up sandwiches from Jimmy Johns. I pulled off the cheese and fed it to my 'fat' dog! I ended the day with 1469 calories.

So I was up at 2:00 with my stupid dog, whom I love so much. But dammit I wish he would just sleep all ready! I cannot just lay in bed and listen to him bark and whine until one of us gets up. He has a dog door and prompty uses it whenever he hears something he has to check out, but other times he wants someone up with him. Spoiled dog! I was up and made the mistake of turning on the TV and the movie Cloud Atlas was on. I guess I caught the middle of it and fell asleep at the end. It was very long. Not sure what time it came on but it didn't end until 5:30. I ate a blueberry scone about 3:00a.m. I finally went to bed after the movie was over.

DH was up at 8:30 but I didn't even hear him. He came back in the room about 9:30 to take a shower and this is when I actually got up. He was leaving to go to the car show at 10:15.  DH left and I was home. I walked the dog and watched my basketball team lose. Everytime I watch them they lose, so I don't watch them very much! superstitious! I stripped the bed and started laundry and basically had a very relaxing day! I was stress free today!

B: toast and peanut butter, iced tea

L: beef sticks

D: pulled pork sandwich DH brought back from Harry Buffalo, I also had a piece of cake

endied the night with 1626. I think I gave the pulled pork sandwich too many calories but it was so, so good.

Tomorrow more laundry and I am going shopping for things I need for the St. Patrick day activity for work...just a vase.

Have a great weekend!

So I got home to leftover penne pasta with ground turkey and marinara. DH also steamed brocolli and cauliflower and then grilled the zuccini and yellow squash. I was so amazed that he did this. I ened the night with 1166 calories. I was hungry after lunch and eating dinner right when I got home was a good idea. I did snack on pretzels.  This was a good food day.

I helped the little girl with her adding and subtracting fractions and then we kinda just sat around. i was playing candy crush and the little girl was playing something on the ipad, DH was of course snoozing in the recliner. The little girl was worried about what time she was going to go to bed and promptly fell asleep on the chaise. We turned off the TV and lights and woke her up, telling her to get ready for school. It was comical, but she figured it out. She then went to bed at 9:15.

And like I predicted, DH woke her up way too early and she came into our room while I was in the shower and came out just wearing a towel. Really? I just got my clothes and went back into the bathroom. This irritates me so bad. They were both gone and the dog too whenever I started blow drying my hair.

Today is DH's son's eighteenth birthday. They had a falling out three years ago and the son refuses to speak to my DH. After dropping the little girl off at school he goes by the house and invites him out to breakfast. My DH texted and told me he said NO. He is the most spoiled, mule headed kid I have ever known. Oh well, my DH is sad and heart broken, but what can you do? The mother already let him drop out of school. At first she said he was enrolled in the online highschool, but that didn't work out so I guess he didn't finish school, which is a shame. I think everyone should finish school. What a wasted opportunity.

I'm so glad it is Friday, I am ready to go home and just...be home! Home is my happy place!

B: toast with 1 Tbsp of peanut butter

L: tuna, green beans, crackers and an orange (I had more tuna and green beans than yesterday so I am actually doing pretty good right now)

D: I have no idea - DH went shopping so I know he is ready to go back to work. He said he was tired of doing housework. LOL.

Not a lot to do at work, so I'm purging files that are over 20 years old that we do not need to keep. The two people who previously had my job apparently didn't do it!

Have a great weekend! IP
