This morning I am at work, passing out baskets to the staff, then sending in more information on my personal situation for disaster relief.
At lunch, we're moving some appliances from Mom's to my place, and then I would like to vacuum the carpets. After that I want to head over to Grandma's because my uncle is visiting.
I hope this evening to cut the grass as well, must wait until later in the evening when it's cooler - I hope it doesn't rain!
I spent some time in my spare room last night going through my things, but I think I am just going to pack everything up into containers and go through it another time - I just don't have time for it this week.
I also desperately need to do some laundry and figure out why my bathroom lights don't work. Just gotta add to my own "honey-do" list!

Thank goodness my basement is no longer taking in water like... well, like whatever takes in water really fast. It is a lot slower and the pumps seem to be handling it nicely. But i'm not relaxing until that basement is bone dry!
So this week will be spent disinfecting the basement with bleach. I also want to clean the upstairs spare room and vacuum the carpets, as i'm getting company this weekend. And while i'm at the list of things to do, add moving my fridge, stove, and old treadmill into my garage, and moving in a new fridge and stove. That's happening tomorrow.
I also need to check with my insurance and then send paperwork into our provincial Disaster Relief Fund, and buy our staff a bunch of baskets with candy and chocolate for the work they did to keep our hospital safe.
Does anyone want to fly up here and help me out for a few days? LOL. Ok, one thing at a time then.
P.S. My Mom is also moving at the end of this week, so there's that too.

Holy ****. Pardon my language, but seriously.
My city is in a state of emergency; we are flooding. The hospital and long term care facility has been evacuated. It has been a really horrible five or so days. I have been constantly in my basement, bailing water.
I got food poisoning on Saturday too, to add insult to injury. I don't want you to get a visual, but it was tough trying to bail water and not throw up. I think i've lost about five pounds from not eating anything but crackers and gingerale. I'm actually scared to eat anything more than that.
My body is sore so I know I am getting my exercise in. I've also taken this opportunity to wear my pretty pink rubber boots.
The sun is out and shining and hopefully drying things up finally. If my grass is dry enough I am going to have a fire pit party tonight and will try to eat a smokie for dinner.
Sorry if I don't make any sense; I am a little delirious from all the stress and effort of trying to save my basement.

Coffee, chicken BLT salad, carrot muffin, 1/2 banana, last serving of crackers & cheese
Mow lawn - 60 minutes
shop-vaccing water - 20 minutes
And thank goodness I did cut the grass because now it's raining cats and dogs. Expected to get over three inches today in rainfall. I will be popping out every so often to monitor my basement, but when I checked it before I left work this morning it already had standing water so I think I might be in trouble!
Whatever will be, will be.

Bagel, crackers & cheese, oatmeal with banana and almond milk, burger, crackers & cheese
There's only enough crackers & cheese for one more serving (that's a Legcramps-size serving) thank goodness. It was a bad idea, and not one i'm likely to make again for a while.
Slopitch - 1 & 1/2 hours
Stretching - 5 minutes
Shop-vaccing the water out of the basement - 20 minutes and 4 full loads
All the rain we've had; it only makes sense that my basement should get some of it too. I should have gotten on top of it sooner but because I didn't, I have a little bit of work ahead of me.

Very sore from working out on Monday; must ask people to do things for me (i.e. reach for objects since my arms won't go higher than my shoulders).
Coffee, salad, oatmeal, burger and then snacked on crackers and cheese.
Bike Ride - 20 minutes
Walk - 20 minutes
Yardwork - 10 minutes
Napped on the couch and missed the baseball game in town. Oh well.

It took forever to get through the workday; and then I had an evening meeting on top of that. Went to a friend's birthday event and didn't get home until midnight. No exercise, but pretty decent eats.
Woke up early (had the day off work) and got started with errands. Packed the car and headed off on a road trip to our camping destination. Took 4 hours. Cabin was beautiful! Salad for lunch and burgers with pasta salad for supper - some munching in between. No exercise, unless you wanna count walking through the grocery store. It actually felt like a workout because it took so long to get all the things we needed, plus carry around a four-month-old child as well LOL. Late night staying up chatting.
Woke up early and went for a 30 minute morning walk near the lake. It was so lovely and relaxing. Did my stretches. Lunch was a smokie with pasta salad, and supper was chicken and potatoes. Delicious! Other munchies too - raw veggies and chips with dip, crackers and cheese (a delicious garlic & herb cheese). Walked for some ice cream; up a hill and through some wet sand. Took about half an hour. Went for a quad ride and got stuck in the mud. Late night staying up chatting - perhaps I also had a few wobblies.
Woke up early and did my stretches right away. Lunch was a french toast bake with potatoes and bacon, fruit and raw veggies wtih dip; supper was a hot dog with pasta salad and cut up chicken leftover from Saturday. The food this weekend was all so good! Walked twice today; around an hour total. Walked down to the marina where my cousins were fishing off the rocks and watched a fish attack my cousin LOL. My cousin was not terribly hurt and so it was hilarious. Not a late night - I just couldn't do it anymore!
Woke up early and did my stretches again. Had two pieces of toast with peanut butter for breakfast. Drove into town and met my cousin at the gym; she was there for a session with her personal trainer. I tagged along and got my ass whipped for over an hour. I'm not even kidding. There was a point where I was ready to blow chunks all over the place. Thank goodness I didn't completely embarrass myself! When I got back to the lake everyone was eating lunch, so I plated up right away and had myself a huge smorgasborg - apple, peanut butter, more pasta salad with chicken, more garlic & herb cheese with a full plate of raw veggies and some chips and dip. Packed and drove home and had another burger with some fries for supper. I snacked a lot today as well. There was a hole that I just couldn't fill ;)
That was long, but now we're all caught up!

I was strugging a bit yesterday with regard to my feelings about exercising and just... laying on the couch LOL. Eventually I managed to make a decision and get some walking in, which seems to be a recurring theme for this week... "eventually I managed to". But after a good lounge on the couch I was up and running around as normal. The weather is so rainy and dull right now, so maybe that's why i'm feeling a little extra 'blah' this week!
Walk - 35 minutes
Stretching - 10 minutes
Yoga - 10 minutes
I also finally did my dishes and took out the garbage ;)
I am really missing my bike lately, but the weather just isn't working in my favour. I would love to knock out a 20 mile ride - I know I would feel so much better afterwards!

Is it just me, or is this week going SLOWLY? I wanted to go to sleep so badly last evening, but everytime I thought it was time for bed, I would look out the window and still see bright sunlight. God, it was awful. I should have gone for a long bike ride, but I didn't think it would be a good idea. Now I think it would have been a great idea and a great way to let off some nervous energy.
I got into my last batch of pumpkin roll last night. Every time I think there are no treats left in my house, I find something stuck in the back of the freezer or cupboard.
It may not seem like it, but I am okay with all this - the eating of the sugar just needs to happen from time to time, and I need to give my body an ample rest period. This is the week where I won't see any progress on the scale - but you can guarantee i'll see some progress in my mental health.
Bike Ride - commute to work (20 minutes)
Stretching - 10 minutes
Counting down to Friday; then road trip to the cabin and a *hopefully* great few days out of town!

Took the afternoon off work and SLEPT it away. Gosh was that nice. I don't know why I was so tired and grumpy, but I didn't need to be at work and acting like a biotch so i'm glad I went home. Eventually I managed to get up and do some things.
Walk - 40 minutes on treadmill
Yardwork - 1 hour (cut grass, weeding, build platform for a freezer i'm putting in the garage)
PT appointment - I had to swing my arms and focus on my spine instead of my feet while watching myself walk in a mirror. I noticed that I walk like a stick. I'm suspicious that my PT is attempting to help me without having to tell me that I don't know how to walk properly. She is very kind.
