Weight: 163.5

If anyone was wondering why I haven't been updating my weight, it's because I haven't been weighing myself obsessively for the last few weeks.  My plan is to weigh myself at the end of the month, and I will update the above weight then.  I have a feeling it will be higher, but we'll see.

Went running yesterday on the treadmill at the gym, 1.6 miles in 21 minutes again but this time I added an extra minute of running (16 minutes) :-)

The first 8 minute run went by pretty quickly, no issues.  I slowed my speed down a bit so that I would be sure to finish, and that helped a lot.  The second 8 minute run was a little more difficult, but I was able to finish without too much hassle.

Eats for yesterday - coffee, oatmeal, pasta with breaded chicken, 3 litres of water, two glasses iced tea and I can't think of anything else.  no wonder I still felt hungry last night...

I've requested the day off work tomorrow because I need to prepare for a trip to the city on Saturday, and there are a few other things I should probably get done as well (a few? that's an understatement).  I've been noticing that I have unspent energy on the days I don't get in a workout, so I might go to the gym tonight and repeat the workout I did yesterday.  I can't use this energy doing something around the house because it's more of an anxiously energetic feeling and I can only get rid of it if I do a hard a$$ workout.  I guess it's my own darn fault - I asked the Lord to give me more energy but wasn't specific enough ;-)

Have a great day today!

Progress as of today: 11.5 lbs lost so far, only 8.5 lbs to go!

sweetpea1977 on 10/28/2010:
Good for you on not getting obsessed with the scale. There is no need to let a number dictate your mood every single day!

I hope you enjoy your intense workout tonight!

just42day on 10/28/2010:
Great job w/your running! :)

KathyBlue on 10/28/2010:
I think this is the correct way of seeing the weight issue. I don't weigh myself every single day either. There are people who do it, like just42day, but I think I wouldn't be able to bear the feeling of seeing ups and downs. I just want to see, like once a week, or once in every two weeks, a LOSS. Great job w the exercise, I'm proud of you!!! :)

loveray on 10/28/2010:
i havent been weighing myself either - i cant deal with seeing the # every day - as soon as i get more kettlebells workouts under my belt, im hoping ill feel good enough to weigh. good luck and much love!

moogy on 10/28/2010:
Yes, you do have to be careful what you pray for. I used to pray for strength and got challenges to strengthen me!!!! Our God has a sense of humour I think. Now I only ask for grace and gratitute and haven't got into too much trouble with those. I am so impressed with your running, I am so proud of you, I can't imagine how fabulous you must be feeling about your success. Well done.

hopingforhealth on 10/28/2010:
Way to go with the running! I have been doing a lot more aerobic, but I doubt I could run that long yet. Enjoy your hard a$$ workout :P

V on 10/28/2010:
Just so you know I happen to love tending to the yard and garden! You don't even have to feed me much either!!! LOL

biscottibody59 on 10/28/2010:
Nice pic there!

Gah, we haven't even had a light frost yet, though it is supposed to be in the low 40sF (4C) tomorrow night--no big deal in your neck of the woods I imagine--and I was already thinking of putting my heated mattress pad on the bed for the season:-)

Keep up the good work with the running--it's sooo worth the effort!

selina on 10/29/2010:
Cute photo bellow legcramps! Good job on the exercising and drinking all that water! Good for you!

Above pic is me wearing my new outfit I bought for a friend's wedding a few weeks ago.

Wow, so... Holy Snow.  Due to the high winds, some yards have up to 3 feet of snow blocking their driveways; it's definitely been chaotic for the last two days.  We've had cars in the ditches, closed highways, weather warnings, you name it.  My stupid sump pump stopped working again, so I need to remember to fix that later so that I don't get any water in the basement if all this snow decides to melt.  Which, by the way, would be fine with me because I still have CARROTS and POTATOES in my garden and my BBQ is still sitting out on the deck!!!  Yikes!  Talk about not being prepared!

Yesterday after work I spent about 20 minutes outside shoveling.  Froze my butt off in the cold wind, and really didn't feel like I accomplished anything.  I also bought myself a gym membership, so I was able to get my run in on the treadmill which was actually a lot harder than I thought it would be.  Everyone says that running outside is much more difficult than running on a treadmill, but that wasn't so for me yesterday.  As soon as I stepped on the thing, my shin splints started acting up and it was quite painful for the rest of the workout.  I iced my shins as soon as I got back home, and that seems to have helped a lot.  I did the required 21 minutes with 15 of it running and went around 1.7 miles.  After only one workout on the treadmill, I have decided that i'd rather run outdoors.  This means I must move somewhere much warmer.

Eats for yesterday - bagel with PB, mocha, coffee, water, pasta with breaded chicken, one serving low sodium chips with spinach dip.

Today's run calls for two 8 minute runs with a 5 minute walk in between.  Go me!

Progress as of today: 11.5 lbs lost so far, only 8.5 lbs to go!

loveray on 10/27/2010:
I hear there is snow all across the country - down south it is still unseasonably warm and just gross all around - plus monsoon type rains! sending lots of healing your way.

sweetpea1977 on 10/27/2010:
3 feet of snow, yikes! I hope it melts so you can gain access to your garden and grill.

I don't have much experience on treadmills, but I can imagine it hurting my shins as well. I rather run outside! The only exception is maybe using an indoor running track.

selina on 10/27/2010:
Snow!!!! wow! Take care and stay safe! So, you are also a gardener - I love gardening, but I mainly do flowers. I've no idea how to grow potatoes and carrots, although that sounds FUN!

hollybelle on 10/27/2010:
Burrrrr! I feel better about my weather here! Stay warm and make sure your outside hoses don't freeze! Good run on the treadmill! That's the spirit!

moogy on 10/27/2010:
I can remember digging my step father out of our downward angled driveway at 4.30am in the morning with snow banked up to 8 foot in my pj's when I was a child in England so I know what it is like. However, isn't this all a bit early in the season?? You have my sympathy for now, I will probably envy you in a couple of months when I am sweating like a you know what!! I hope you can get out and clear up a little before the next blast hits!!

Man, I can't imagine all that snow. It was just getting cool here, and boom, 80 and muggy today. I wouldn't enjoy all the shoveling, but I'll be happy when it's a bit cooler.

Feels good to be back!

I've been doing a lot of running since Oct 13th.  I ran eight times since then, in fact.  My last run was on Saturday, where I tried to beat my previous 5k time of 39:27.  I came in at 37:20, so I shaved two minutes off my time in one month!  I'm going to try this again towards the end of November and see if I can do it in under 36 minutes.

I was scheduled to run yesterday after work, but due to either a) an allergic reaction to the vast amounts of dairy i've been eating for the last week, or b) the stomach flu, I was unable to motivate myself to get the running in.  I am feeling loads better today, so i'm hoping to get the missed run in after work.

It is snowing here! Yuck!  I guess that means I will have to buy myself a gym key and get most of my runs in on the treadmill from now on.

In other news, my friends set me up with A.  It wasn't a date - we just sort of hung out with another couple; supper and a movie kind of thing.  I think it went well, I had fun flirting and goofing around.  It was just nice to feel like I was back in the game, LOL!

Progress as of today: 11.5 lbs lost so far, only 8.5 lbs to go!

hollybelle on 10/26/2010:
Great job on running! Yay for having fun and feeling like you're back in the game.

Looking forward to your email! :)

Well, thank the Lord that i'm feeling better than I was yesterday.  That Grump was a major pain in the butt!

I didn't have a good day at work yesterday.  I kept wanting to put my jacket on and leave, I was just so frustrated with everything and everyone.  I talked to my boss for a few minutes though, and that helped a bit.  I am grateful for my job, I just don't like it sometimes.

So I was perfectly willing to go running right after work yesterday, to burn off some of that negative energy.  My running buddy is under the weather, so I leashed the dog, started up the couch 2 5k program on my phone, and was on my way.  Week 2, day 1 went well.  My calves were burning a little throughout the workout, but probably because I didn't stretch beforehand.  At certain times it felt like I might explode from effort, but I was always fully recovered before having to start a run section.  And the dog had a blast!  9 minutes running, total workout took me over 40 minutes because I walked to the park and back home, which takes about 15 minutes.  I think close to 3 miles.  Just under.

Changed and had something to eat, then went to the theatre with some girlfriends to watch "Eat, Pray, Love".  Slightly slow-moving, but I thought the plot was right up my alley.  Loved it!

This morning I ate overnight oats for breakfast.  Yum.  1/3 cup rolled oats; 1/3 cup milk; 1 tblspn peanut butter.  Let stand overnight.  Then I added honey granola to it.  BAM!  You can add whatever you want to it - bananas, strawberries, bran, flax seed, pumpkin, whatever!  It's very filling as well.  I couldn't even finish it all.

Yesterday Eats - turkey, potatoes, carrots, stuffing, pumpkin pie, water, iced tea.

I don't know what i'm going to do for exercise today.  I'd like to run, so we'll see how my legs are feeling later today.

Progress as of today: 11.5 lbs lost so far, only 8.5 lbs to go!

I also loved eat pray love!! Congrats on week 2 day 1 of couch to 5k! I remember the first few weeks of the program and my calves would BURN!!! It does get better!!!!!

I think someone peed in my cornflakes this morning. (it's just a phrase to explain the fact that i'm feeling extremely grumpy and on edge today).

In many ways, this past weekend really sucked.  Friday night was fun - I watched a movie at a friend's place and then we did some Wii Fit activities (all the boxing made my arms hurt for days afterwards), but I also munched on too much junk food.  Saturday I did a little cleaning, then my Dad and my Aunt showed up for a visit, then I went to a friend's for a wiener roast.  "A" did not show up; said he had family committments.  I did okay on food Saturday, but horribly on liquids!  Not enough water and far too much alcohol!  It wasn't a fun night, partly because I was discouraged that "A" didn't come, and partly because the people that DID eventually show up were... let's just say I did NOT appreciate being hit on by a man twice my age that was looped all the way to his toes.  Sunday was spent on the couch because of the late night on Saturday.  I also managed to eat my fridge on Sunday.  On Monday mom had thanksgiving dinner and... that's it.  I ate a lot, and didn't run any of it off.

Some eats from the weekend:  mashed potatoes, baked salmon, chips and dip, cheesies, mushroom burger with salad, hot dog, a few marshmallows, chips again, walnut and chocolate-chip pancakes with syrup, turkey, stuffing, beans, carrots, blah, blah, blah, etc.

And today, I feel totally sorry for myself and I can't get out of this funk!  It's because of all the turkey, i'm sure of it.  And I even brought leftovers home!

Ok, well, I didn't run yesterday and I should have.  Oh well.  I still did three days of running last week, and that's OK.  It's OK.  And I can do three days of running this week.  And that will be OK too.  Whew.

Sometimes it's really difficult to tell yourself to let go of the past.

I downloaded the Couch to 5k program onto my blackberry, so will try that out tonight - I think i'll start at week 2.

Progress as of today: 11.5 lbs lost so far, only 8.5 lbs to go!

KathyBlue on 10/12/2010:
peed...? cornflakes...? I'm speechless. <=^oO^=>

Don't worry about the past, plan the future well! :)

getmebackto150 on 10/12/2010:
I also am intrigued about the peed in the cornflakes??? I LOVE the couch to 5k... let me know how it goes for you!

KathyBlue on 10/12/2010:
AHHHH Ok! :) In Hungary we say at the end of the watermelon season that the watermelons aren't that good anymore because St. Peter (I think it's him or some other St., sorry if I offended you St. Peter..) peed into the watermelons... Well, he must drink a lot ;)

V on 10/12/2010:
i hear you on that my friend!!!! My hormones are so out of control right now! There is a guy sitting next to me as I sit here mind you with a whole lot more open tables but they choose to sit next to me and he won't shut his TRAP!!! I totally want to tell him to STFU!!! he could at least talk about something interesting...LOl Well at least I have my workout/makeout session with my buddy...LOL i know it's hard but try not to think about your weekend...it will surely drive you nuts and i am totally speaking from experience!

I've heard about the couch to 5K, and hope it goes well for you. I hope your day turns around, and you feel less on edge. Deep breaths!

Maria7 on 10/12/2010:
Wow your walnut chocolate pancakes (yum!) and turkey and dressing sounded especially delicious! Hope you are having good day today and feel better. :-)

Umpqua on 10/12/2010:
Hey, it was a holiday weekend, you did OK and enjoyed some great foods. And turkey can be a downer, it's been chemically proven :) I love the disclaimer about your cornflakes - LMAO! Hope you have a good one.

Yesterday after work I wanted to go to our local mobility store so that I could look into buying a new cellphone since mine hasn't been working properly, but the store was closed due to a conference they had gone to.  It might work out anyways though, as a friend e-mailed me to let me know I could get a used cellphone to finish out my contract - i'd have to find a way to get it from the city to me, but $110 for a Blackberry 8330 Curve seems like a pretty good deal.

Once I got home, I quickly changed into my running gear so that i'd be ready, then guzzled down a glass of water as I hadn't been drinking enough throughout the day.  Leashed up the dog, and off we went.  This run was really hard for me.  It could be a combination of not being hydrated enough, it being the second day in a row of running, and trying to work through some coughing spells all day long.  Either way, no excuses, it was just a hard workout for me.  I even took an energy ball just in case because I was feeling slightly tired before I even left the house.  Didn't help at all.  I won't even bother telling you what kind they are - but if you ever see red balls packaged in threes and think they look like jawbreakers - don't buy 'em.  Not worth it.

We managed 9 minutes of running in 23 minutes total workout, and around 2 miles.  I want to do this workout once more on the weekend, then next week i'm kicking it up whether i'm ready for it or not.  I actually think yesterday's workout was difficult because i'm on the brink of getting past it.  Does that make sense?

After the run, a friend came over to visit and we each drank one of my smoothies and added some vodka to it and then I had some more alcohol and ended up feeling quite good about myself last night  but not so much this morning

Had another friend drop by a little later and her and her hubby are trying to set me up with a guy that is hubby's new friend.  This is the A that I was talking about in an earlier entry.  She wants to host a wiener roast on Saturday night, before it gets too cold to sit outside by the fire.  So we'll see if this guy shows up or not - I think he works weekends sometimes too, so I don't want to get too excited about it.  But i'm still kinda excited about it.  LOL.

Yesterday's Eats - coffee, water, spaghetti, smoothie, alcohol.

Plan to rest today and do the SHRED workout.  What kind of rest will that be?!

Progress as of today: 11.5 lbs lost so far, only 8.5 lbs to go!

chidogs on 10/08/2010:
Glad you got your run in, but be careful not to overdue while you still have that cough! Hope the date thing works well for you.

hollybelle on 10/08/2010:
YOU said: "ended up feeling quite good about myself last night but not so much this morning" I said" ha, ha, ha, ha! Have a good weekend. Are you using a training chart for your runs? There are recommended formulas out there on the web that tell you a reasonable program to build up your time/mileage!

Umpqua on 10/08/2010:
Alcoholic smoothies, those could be dangerous! Good job on the workout, hopefully you'll be feeling better after the weekend.

moogy on 10/08/2010:
It is strange but I have never heard of vodka in smoothies!! Half healthy half fun!! LOL I hope you get back to your full energy level soon and have a great weekend!!

Weight: 163.5

Gosh, i'm tired this morning.  Yesterday it felt like the week was whizzing right by, but today it has slowed down to an almost complete stop and is saying to me "hey... you... yeah, you... you think this'll be easy? nah... it ain't gonna be easy honey... it ain't gonna be Friday just like that just because you want it to be".

I got an e-mail at 4:30 after work yesterday from a friend, telling me that a friend of ours was in the hospital because of an asthma attack of some kind.  I figured she'd be eating dinner around that time, so I changed really quickly and took the dog for a run.  For the running portion, we went 1.5 miles in 20 minutes - 8 of that running.  We did lots of walking before and after, too.  Back at home, I cleaned up and drove to the hospital and was there for a couple of hours.  My friend had a coughing fit, couldn't breathe and so came to the hospital.  By the time she reached the hospital, she was okay again but they admitted her anyways which I think is a good thing.  But she hasn't had any tests yet, they haven't even drawn blood, so she has no idea what's going on.  She doesn't know for sure if it's asthma or if it's some sort of infection - well, I only hope she'll be alright and they'll figure out what's wrong.

Once I got back home, I realized I had to cook dinner for myself.  Blah.  By that time, I was wiped and was debating skipping the meal in favor of a bath and sleep.  But I persevered - I threw some whole wheat spaghetti on the stove, and some marinating salmon into the oven.  I wouldn't mix those two things on any other day, but it seemed like the quickest choice at the time!

I'm still coughing, but at this point they're very weak coughs because my ab muscles hurt so much from the SHRED workout!  And the coughing doesn't seem to be having an effect on my running, so i'm going to continue to take it easy this week and maybe next week kick it up a notch.

Running is on the menu for today - another easy 8 minutes (which really isn't all THAT easy for me) with the dog and the running buddy.  This time i'm going to use my Garmin GPS watch.  I bought a new charger for it, brought it to work with me yesterday to get the settings worked out, then left it there overnight!  Duh!  I should also look for my heartrate strap for my chest and use that as well.  If I find it!

That's it for tonight, but wishing I had a date for the weekend.  Plans for Friday night to play cards with friends, which is fun don't get me wrong - I just wish we could do something that involved meeting single guys!!!

Progress as of today: 11.5 lbs lost so far, only 8.5 lbs to go!

KathyBlue on 10/07/2010:
Running is one of the most effective yet less expensive workouts out there! I'm glad you like it, and you always have a nice, willing company to join in, the dog! :) Wish I had one. But at 214 lbs I cannot afford to run. Maybe later...

KathyBlue on 10/07/2010:
216,7 lbs... I'm cheating, geeeez! :)

liza36 on 10/07/2010:
I originally read your entry as 15 miles in 20 minutes, rather than 1 POINT 5 miles in 20 minutes! Which either way is massively impressive to me!!

Hope your friend is ok. Have a good one, despite being tired. Friday can't come soon enough for me too!

chidogs on 10/07/2010:
Yes running sounds really good, but not yet for me either. That is one of the goals I have. We now have the condo in San Diego, and I want to jog on the beach! Take care! Especially of that cough.

When I got home from work yesterday, my mom and her friend were out in my backyard, cleaning up the garden and the flower beds and everything.  It's starting to look like fall in my yard now, all the big vines are cut down, the rose bushes are just little tiny branches sticking out of the ground, and the garden is almost completely void of vegetation.  Gosh, if they wouldn't have done all that work - well, it just wouldn't have been done by me.  Yay!

I was tired yesterday.  It was a full day at work, so by the end of the day all I wanted to do was sleep.  After entertaining my mom and her friend for a few minutes and showing them around my house, I changed into my workout clothes and pushed the coffee table out of the way so I could start my SHRED DVD.  I'd forgotten how difficult this DVD is when you're first starting it.  Suffice to say, I was a big sweaty mess by the end of it.  But it felt great!

A bath, a strawberry-banana smoothie, some reading, and off to bed.

Eats yesterday - coffee, water, almond oatmeal crunch with 2% lactose-free milk, whole wheat spaghetti with baked chicken, smoothie.

Today after work I want to visit my grandpa's grave - one year today he passed, and I miss him and I miss him and I miss him.

Going running at 6 with the dog and the running buddy.  No other plans besides watching Survivor!

Progress as of today: 11.5 lbs lost so far, only 8.5 lbs to go!

lol study group is an idea! My man does speak French but he's reluctant to help me (he's out of patience)... I have lots of colleagues who know French very well (lived in France/Canada, natives, etc.) and I bug them through emails...

KathyBlue on 10/06/2010:
"A bath, a strawberry-banana smoothie, some reading, and off to bed." Now this is a PERFECT recipe of a good day. :)

I know how wonderful it is when family does stuff for you...when my mom comes to visit I'll cook and everything and the next thing I know the dishes are done and put away... it's GREAT!!!!

Umpqua on 10/06/2010:
That's awesome that your Mom helped out with your gardens - good deal! Great job with the exercises, sounds like you're finally feeling better.

biscottibody59 on 10/06/2010:
Good to see you're feeling well enough to do some good running--keep up the good work!

moogy on 10/06/2010:
Wouldn't it be great if we could exercise with all the sweating and read faces??? Good for you though, you exercised even though you were tired. Your mom and her friend sound like keepers, that's a good job out of the way. Have a good day legcramps.

just42day on 10/06/2010:
That's great that you got some exercise in! Good for you. So sorry about the loss of your grandfather. I'm sure he was very touched by your visit and is smiling down on you. Keep him close to your heart - as I'm sure you do. :)

chidogs on 10/06/2010:
You have a great Mom and friend! How sweet was that? I don't know that dvd but it sounds rigorous! Good for you. Take care. I know how you feel about your grandpa. Lost my Mom a year ago this month, but she'd had Alzheimers, so I really lost her several years before, when I lost my Dad. Be glad for the time you had with him! Hugs to you.

Hey girly :) I bet you are glad to be back feeling like yourself :) Sorry about your grandpa :(

legcramps - Tuesday Oct 05, 2010

Weight: 163.5

I started the running off nice and easy yesterday.  I ran 8 minutes out of a total of 20 minutes, not including warm up and cool down.  I went 1.75 miles in about 27 minutes total.  I took my dog with me which I think went fairly well - I will be doing it again, it's great exercise for her too.

This morning my chest is breaking up and i'm coughing a little more than usual, which is giving me another headache (surprise, surprise).  I guess maybe I pushed it a little too much, but I really felt great yesterday while I was running.  Just don't feel so great today!

Eats for yesterday: coffee, water, whole wheat pasta, baked chicken, cooked carrots.  Oh, and I had some kind of pastry for a late breakfast.  It was wierd, tasted like soft pie crust.

My plan for today is to do Jillian's Shred workout before dinner.  And then get into my pj's, make a cup of hot tea, and continue reading "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime".  Hilarious book, and i'm only on page 20.

Progress as of today: 11.5 lbs lost so far, only 8.5 lbs to go!

Hi Legcramps, so glad you are enjoying your running. Your dog is probably very happy with the exercise, as well. I see lots of dogs walking with their masters/owners at the park and they all seem to have a smile on their faces, ha!

Take care of that cough and stay well!

PS. Why is your name legcramps, if I may ask? Every time I see your name, it reminds me of my pregnancy because I always had serious leg cramps during the second part of the pregnancy... I never forget that...

selina on 10/05/2010:
I love that book! My daughter had to read it for school last year, so I read it, too!

KathyBlue on 10/05/2010:
ahh have to look up that book...

V on 10/05/2010:
So glad you are feeling better :) I know how tough it is when you are struggling to get well :) Have a good day my friend :)

geevee on 10/05/2010:
Funny comment! Thanks! Hopefully my son in Orlando will treat me to more of his bagels on Thurs. You see how easily I'm led astray? There is no way I could refuse.

chidogs on 10/05/2010:
Book sounds interesting, being a Sherlock Holmes fan and recognizing the title as a play on a quote in one of the books! I will jot it down. I love to cozy up with tea/coffee/cocoa and a good book, especially if it is raining. Enjoy, and I hope you feel better.

sweetpea1977 on 10/05/2010:
Good news that the congestion in your chest is breaking up. Hopefully, you'll see an end to that crud soon!

I read that book a few years ago. Loved it!

Umpqua on 10/05/2010:
I'm glad you got the run in yesterday, and I hope that your finally getting over your illness. HOpe you are having a good one!

hollybelle on 10/05/2010:
Hope the antibiotic works it's wonders. Do you need an expectorant like Mucinex to get the crud out when you cough?

chidogs on 10/05/2010:
Thank you, thank you, thank you! Appreciate the encouragement. :)

moogy on 10/05/2010:
Maybe the running got the congestion in your chest moving, it certainly sounds like it. Take it easy though. Look after yourself. Have a great day.

nita51 on 10/05/2010:
Thanks for the encouragement, and feel better. Hot tea, xoxo

breakaway on 10/06/2010:
Great job on the exercise but hope you don't feel worse tomorrow. Have a great day!

fatgirl101 on 10/06/2010:

legcramps - Monday Oct 04, 2010

Weight: 163.5

Thanks everyone for the well wishes.  One more day until my prescription runs out, so we'll see what happens after that.  I can tell my cough is getting a bit better, but I really know nothing about why the antibiotics haven't cleared it up completely yet.  Day by day.

The Dog Jog went really well on Sunday.  I'm glad to say that I didn't overdo it by running the distance, instead I stayed behind and helped with other things.  It was such a beautiful day - i'm so glad I decided to head out and take part.

Other than that, just trying to get better.  I made it to the grocery store and stocked up on good foods - yogurt, fruit, etc. so I have started eating better again.  Now all I need is for the minute amount of energy I had to return to me so that I can get back to running!

Psst - I will be trying to run tonight.

Progress as of today: 11.5 lbs lost so far, only 8.5 lbs to go!

Umpqua on 10/04/2010:
I'm glad to hear you are feeling slightly better. I hope you have a nice and relaxing day and can run again soon!

sweetpea1977 on 10/04/2010:
Im glad you are starting to feel better. Enjoy your run tonight!

jubileecoast on 10/04/2010:
Hey hope you're well - enjoy the run!

moogy on 10/04/2010:
We had a few people here that had to have two prescriptions to clear their lung infections. If you are still coughing I suggest you go back and check out whether you need a second. Your lungs will decide if you will be able to run or not, you will soon run out of puff if your body is not ready. You must be itching to get back out there. I am glad you stocked up on healthy stuff - good for you! I hope that you have a good day and get some of your usual energy back:)

chidogs on 10/04/2010:
Take care, glad you are doing better, but yes, those cough things can rebound back at you if you aren't careful and make sure it is totally gone. Healthy food, rest...repeat. :)

Maria7 on 10/04/2010:
Hope you get some rest and take good care of yourself and feel better. :-)

V on 10/04/2010:
Thank heavens you are feeling better :) I was very concerned about you girl! Try to take it easy with your workouts till you are back to 100%

breakaway on 10/04/2010:
Seems like so many are sick here...I caught it now :( You did great today :D Keep up the good work :D
