Happy Monday!

Awe, not everyone, Monday. Only the ones starting off a new work week!

The weather was gorgeous this weekend and I tried to take advantage where I could...

On Friday I went for another massage. This time, she really went deep around my neck and shoulders. I am now getting dressed very gingerly each day. After the massage, I went to F's to watch a couple of movies. I guess I could say I had a good time, but still... no sparks or anything.

Saturday afternoon I went golfing at a new-to-me course! It was a lot of fun, but i'm sad now because the season is pretty much over :(

Yesterday was spent putzing around the house, eating popcorn, watching movies, and reading. I took the words rest day to a whole new level ;)

Monday, Monday...

Breakfast - mocha

Lunch - cafeteria, sandwich maybe

PM Snack - granola bar

Dinner - tbd

Water - 2 litre goal

Exercise - workout after work

Other - groceries, clean house, work on pictures from trip

Lots to do today! Have a good one all!

I think I am starting to condition myself to staying awake past my bedtime. This morning my eyes aren't crossing nearly as much as they were yesterday ;)

So yesterday's lunch meeting went really well; I had a turkey sandwich on whole wheat and a small butter tart instead of soup. When I got back from the meeting, I had a piece of rice crispy cake from the lunch I bought, and my apple later in the afternoon.

After work I had some of the leftovers from dinner on Wednesday - I could eat soggy ceasar salad every day. Not kidding.

Then it was off to the hockey game, where I had a mocha. I didn't even have any beer. No beer! Crazy. Our team won 10-2; a slightly boring game but so long as they pull out the win, right?

When I got home, I decided I wasn't tired yet, so I pulled a new book from the shelf and started reading. Halfway through, I got the munchies, so I had the rest of the soggy ceasar salad.

Today's lunch will be the last of the stuffed green pepper, PM snack is a granola bar since I ate my last apple yesterday, and dinner is the rest of the leftover chicken.

And then i'll still have soup and a sandwich from yesterday's lunch sitting in the fridge waiting to be eaten. I plan on making the sandwich "grilled" by frying it in oil and crisping it up because i'm sure the bread will be soggy. I may like soggy salad, but I don't like soggy bread!

Anyways - was that fun learning about how to make a soggy sandwich into a grilled ham and cheese?

I didn't think so.

I have another massage appointment after work today, and I think i'll make one more for next week and then take a couple weeks off and see how things are. I haven't been doing well with the exercises lately, but I haven't been feeling quite as terribly as I was before.

Then I made plans with F later tonight. Yes. Yes I did. I know. Two posts ago (or three, I can't remember), I just finished saying that I wasn't interested. I'm just practicing, ok?!

Hahahaha! I am not a fan of soggy bread either and this was a very informative tutorial :) As far as F goes, there is nothing wrong with a little worship from a member of your fan club so enjoy ;) LOL

P.S. Thanks for your answers and RYQ A2 is coming out some time in October so as soon as I get it I am sure I might forgo doing the entire round 2 of Insanity, I guess it depends on how far along I am in the program(If I have a 2-3 weeks left before completion, I will prolly finish it to it's entirety) have a good one!

Another long night yesterday; my eyes keep crossing i'm so tired!

I had a meeting yesterday that started at 5pm; they served sandwiches and soup, so I had 1/2 cup of cream of mushroom soup and 1/2 a ham and cheese sandwich, no dessert.

After the meeting, I treated friends to dinner at their place so that I could watch Big Brother finale and Survivor season premiere with them (since I don't have television at home). I picked up the food around 7:30 and i'd say we were eating by 8pm. We had chicken, fries and ceasar salad. Along with that, I had another mocha.

So basically I had dinner twice.

Today I managed to double up on lunch; I bought a ticket to support our local hockey team and it came with lunch - they are delivering it to work today. I also have a lunch meeting, where i'm sure we'll be served soup and sandwiches again.

And I have major leftovers from dinner yesterday. I guess my friends don't like leftovers all that much.

You know the saying "rolling in money"? Well, I feel like i'm rolling in food. And that mental image is not a pretty one. (side note - I just googled images for "rolling in food". Lame. 80% of the images were t-shirts with the Rolling Stones logo on it.)

Busy busy today! A lunch meeting, a possible trip to the city next door for a store sale, and our local hockey team's home opener tonight!

Oh dear! I wouldn't say you had 2 dinners though, more like 1 1/2. :) Meetings where food is served is not helpful! Enjoy the game tonight anyway.

hahaha, rolling in food!I think only foods I'd roll in are chocolate and peanut butter. :)

I've had two dinners before. In fact, it happened a lot in college because I never went to bed early....because I was studying...yea, that was it...studying!!

It sure feels like it should be Friday today.

Happy Hump Day! All downhill from here!

That's a little scary for a Wednesday morning.

I stayed up well past my bedtime last night, and i'm a crazy wreck this morning LOL. The girls got together and waxed legs at my place; I put out some cheese and crackers and we had a pretty good time, considering we were having the HAIR on our legs RIPPED out repeatedly. Good times.

Today is going to be a busy day, so i'd better get to drinking up the pot of coffee we've got on the burner at work. Work 8-5, meeting 5-8, Big Brother finale! It will be hard to say if I will get to see all of it, but so long as I see what happens at the end. I plan on grabbing some dinner as I walk out of the meeting, and watching BB over at a friend's place. And then after Big Brother - Survivor season premiere!!!!

It might be another long night.

Lunch - stuffed green pepper

PM Snack - apple

Dinner - TBD

My plans with D fell through last night, so I went to a friend's for coffee and a visit, then to the grocery store for a few things, and when I got home one of my favorite people had taped Big Brother for me and left the tape sitting between my doors :) I am now all caught up on Big Brother and I cannot wait for the finale tomorrow night!

My stuffed green peppers out of the crockpot turned out delicious! I used extra lean ground beef and I think that's what made it for me... I love my red meat LOL. I'm even eating all the TOMATOES in them, which - in the past - has been an occurrence best saved for blue moons.

I also did a little reading last night, but headed to bed early and got a good sleep. This morning's workout was Insanity Plyo Cardio. I don't know if you can tell, but i'm staying away from the Max Insanity workouts for now, while I get my back and hip issues worked out.

I need to get my head back into doing the exercises from the therapist. They're really good exercises, but i'm just soooooo lazy!

Breakfast - mocha, glutamine

Lunch - stuffed green pepper

PM Snack - apple, granola bar

Dinner - tbd (last night was crackers and cheese...)

LOTS more water!

Yeah before you take it to the max, make sure your back and hip issues are resolved..Your peppers sounds amazing! I have to make some.. As far as my day well it was a wash..It rained all day and I put my jammies on after I resolved that the day would be spent indoors. It was quite boring to say the least..LOL Have a good evening <3

My weekend was pretty lame. I didn't do a lot of things I wanted to do, like yardwork and getting into the city to see Dad. My headache from Thursday lasted until partway through Saturday, even through my massage on Friday!

My massage therapist worked me over again on Friday, and then asked me what I had done the weekend before to get my body all out of whack (my hips were out of place). I said i'd gone golfing, and her eyes got that puppy-dog excited look and she asked if she could come next time LOL.

On Saturday our Library had a book sale. Paperbacks were 25 cents each, so I stocked up BIG TIME. Yes, my bookshelves are now overflowing and I love it.

Yesterday I pulled weeds in the backyard and now i'm SURE my neighbours don't hate me quite as much as they did before. Once I get the garden done, they may even bring me a bottle of wine to celebrate. Or maybe they'll ignore me as usual and i'll buy myself the wine and get drunk on the back deck. I don't know why they dislike me so much...

I made stuffed green peppers in the crockpot yesterday as well. Boy, they smelled good but I couldn't wait for dinner so I had chicken and french fries instead. I brought two stuffed peppers to work with me today - I sure hope they're good 'cause they look and smell delicious!

I have a few errands today, then a movie night planned with D so we'll see how that goes.

Lunch - stuffed peppers x 2

PM Snack - peach

Dinner - popcorn, crackers and cheese, tbd

Exercise - cleaning

LOTS of water! Don't forget the water!

It was so windy yesterday! I thought i'd see some trees knocked over and some damage to homes this morning, but nothing seemed any different as I drove to work today. The wind needs to stay away today so that I can get outside and start working on cleaning up the yard for fall.

I went on a HUGE grocery run yesterday; it was Ten for Ten Days so I stocked up on frozen chicken, crackers, rice, and pasta sauce. I also now have an abundance of fresh vegetables in the fridge and this weekend i'm going to try my hand at Stuffed Peppers in the crockpot!

I got home pretty late, so I didn't get much accomplished in terms of evening exercise or housework. I did the exercises as prescribed by the massage therapist, and then snacked on some mix while reading. I also got a few phone calls done and finally made some plans with D. We'll see how that goes.

Breakfast - mocha, bagel

Lunch - steak, potatoes, coleslaw

Snack PM - Ack! I forgot fruit AGAIN! Good thing I brought granola bars.

Dinner - Chicken and rice sounds good.

Exercise - Insanity! P&R completed early AM; Exercises for therapy x 2; a little light walk after work would be nice if it's nice outside.

I might take tomorrow off work, to get started on all the work I have to do this weekend. There is some time I have banked that I can take. I also need to visit Dad this weekend and see how he's doing. Lots to do!

Much better day yesterday. My back was still sore, but nothing like it was on Monday thank goodness.

Right after work I went to get my hair cut and colored. I should take a picture and show you guys - I think it looks awesome!

I stopped at the grocery store on my way home and picked up chicken and rice for dinner because I just wasn't feeling porkchops. By the time dinner was cooked, I had tidied up the living room and kitchen and started the dishes.

After eating I continued to clean things up, finished a load of laundry that had been sitting in the dryer for a couple of days, and knocked some things off my to do list. I felt WAY more accomplished than on Monday ;)

After that, I was invited to F's for... tea. Strange. But then company came over and saved me from having to tell him I was busy when I really wasn't. F is strange. That is all. My company stayed for a little while, and when they left I cleaned up after them and decided to call it a night.

This morning I woke up with tonnes of energy so I did an Insanity workout before getting ready for work. When I walked into the office, one of my co-workers lost it over my hair ;)

Breakfast - mocha, bagel

Lunch - chicken and rice

PM Snack - oh crap! I forgot to bring an apple.

Dinner - steak and potatoes

Geez. I could really use some vegetables in my life.

I barely got through the workday yesterday; my lower back was in horrendous pain! I hope today will be better...

Lunch - cafeteria (lazy bones!)

Dinner - porkchop, rice, vegetables

Exercise - yoga workout

Lots of water!

I didn't get anything done last night; instead, I layed on the couch trying to find the best position that didn't give me as much pain. I took advil, but I didn't have any muscle relaxants so it didn't help a whole lot. I did my exercises probably five times yesterday just to try and relieve some of the pain; it was incredible. My therapist will definitely be hearing about this little turn of events!

Obviously, laying on the couch all night provided me the perfect opportunity to stew and think about things. I managed to talk myself out of doing something I really wanted to do. Go figure.

Oh No :( I hope your back feels better by now..If not try a few cat stretches or lie on your back and do the single leg side twist like Skip does in that yoga class I sent ya..A minute on each side might do a world of wonders for your back..If you are in severe pain(I hope not) you might want to see a doctor..In any case I hope it resolves soon <3

I got my massage on Friday after work, and boy did she ever go full force! When I finally got home all I wanted to do was collapse on the couch and call it a day. She really worked my muscles hard, and she even gave me some homework! This chick is ca-razy! But I like it LOL. I have four exercises I have to do twice a day, plus I need to be more aware of how i'm sitting in my chair at work, and how often I clamp my jaw together. These things are all contributing to tightness in my neck which is giving me headaches, limited range of motion in my neck, and tightness in my piformis, which could lead to a whole bottle of issues if I let it. I've been drinking as much water as possible, but I STILL feel sore more than two days later!

I didn't accomplish much on the weekend besides some exercising, and i've pretty much dedicated the next one to getting things done. Hopefully I don't get off track. I went golfing on Saturday with D and that went well. Then later on it didn't go so well. Then it just turned into one very long night. Sunday I wasted time watching movies and taking naps all day long.

I have a lot to do today. Guess i'd better get to it!

Your massage therapist sounds like a real keeper! I love that she gives homework. That's a lot like my chiropractor. His suggestions help a bunch, too.

Hopefully between the massage and the homework you will ward off the aches and pains. I was looking into getting an ergonomic chair for work and trying to sit with better posture. I had a massage on my trip and it was amazing! Hope you have a productive day!
