My calves are sore from the insanity class yesterday, but it still felt good to walk it out on the way to work this morning. My exercise today is walking to work and home. A down day!

I'm still trying to get back into some kind of a routine; yesterday I was so tired by 6:30 pm that I went upstairs to bed! Aside from some thrashing and clawing at pillows, I managed to sleep until morning.

I already feel tired so I think it's probably from getting a little too much sleep through the night. If I can manage to, i'd like to get the grass cut today after work. Then I have a retirement supper to attend at 6pm, so here's hoping I don't fall asleep before I get there!

Putting in some effort today at work to get some files off my desk. Coming back after three weeks off is terribly difficult!

Well done on the workout! Don't know if you stretch afterwards but it will cut down on the soreness. You must have been exhausted to sleep for so long! Guess you needed it. Hope you have enough energy for the party tonight.

I am sure you might still have a bit of jet lag from your trip.. yeah def add an extended stretch after your classes..Too bad that you don't have relief class(Asylum) This one really is a true stretch class 25 minutes(no pushups, no jumping, no squats) It is like a body snatcher took over..At first I was like WTF? this isn't Shaun..LOL Anyhoo I don't know how you feel about yoga but I have a 20 minute You Tube class I could send your way via fb that might help :)

Hopefully you put a huge dent in your files today <3 Have a good one!

Good Monday Morning Peeps!

I was up at 4:45 am this morning, so I managed to get quite a bit accomplished. I did the Insanity Plyo Cardio Circuit class, showered, ate a very filling breakfast and drank my Glutamine, got ready for work, and WALKED to work! Sounds like a full day already LOL.

I got to work early as well, so I was able to plow through my growing pile of e-mails and just got finished with them now. Thought i'd take a break to log on here and see how you're all doing to start off the week!

Progress as of today: 14 lbs lost so far, only 11 lbs to go!

Nice going with the early wake time! Even betta, i like that you chose Plyo as your first class(or are you following the schedule?) I can't wait to do round 2, i have 15 more days in the Asylum and then it's on! (well after a 2 week break as suggested by Shaun T) Asylum def lives up to it's name, it takes a mad man to do this...LOL

Out for an almost two hour walk this morning; it is so windy and cold here! I hate it, it means winter is approaching :(

I should probably do some yardwork today, but i'd rather watch 5 hours of Big Brother that I missed while I was away on holidays ;) so we'll see which one wins out! I also have a brand new Janet Evanovich book to read. Last day of holidays and back to work tomorrow so i'd better make the best of it.

Have a great day all! And congrats to V for graduating the Insanity Program! We rock! I'm starting back on it tomorrow morning!

Back from my trip and happy to report that I did not gain weight! It was from all the walking we did i'm sure.

Went for a run this morning and now just putzing around the house until I meet with friends later to catch up.

Max Plyo Interval class has been accomplished! I have one more class - Core Cardio and Balance - to fit in tonight and then i'm done Insanity!

After work yesterday I did Cardio Abs class and then was feeling a little ill so I took a break on the couch. Once I started feeling better, I got all the waxing supplies ready and started cutting up some cheese for snacks. My friends arrived and we got started; I don't think we were done until close to 10pm.

After everyone left, I cleaned up so that I wouldn't have to do it today, then read a book for an hour or so.

I woke up with bloodshot eyes once again. I just need to leave on this trip already, the anticipation is driving me nuts

I came in early to work this morning so hopefully i'll be able to leave a little earlier so that I can get my insanity class done, do a final prep for the trip, plus read and take a hot bath before bed. I want to be as relaxed as possible tonight so that I can get some sleep!

Breakfast this morning is coffee and gingerale.

Lunch will be salad and chicken wrap.

Snack is chocolate pudding.

Dinner will be chicken wrap and whatever else I still need to empty out of my fridge.

I did Max Cardio class this morning instead of Core Cardio and Balance. After work I will try to get Cardio Abs class in, and then maybe tomorrow I can fit in the Cardio and Balance class in the evening. I thought I should make sure I get the tougher one done

I didn't go to sleep any earlier than usual last night, but I was up 15 minutes before my alarm this morning. That hardly ever happens... I think the whole 'Two More Sleeps Until My Trip' thing is keeping me from sleeping well. I had to squirt some Visine into my eyes this morning because they were looking pretty bloodshot. Yikes. I also hope i'm not getting a cold, i've been feeling one coming on lately; that would be hell to deal with on the plane.

We won our ball game last night, but I really played horribly. Oh well, I don't have to worry about my game anymore because i'm done for the season! Normally that would make me sad, but not today. I pulled a muscle in my thigh and threw my arm out last night, so i'm pretty glad to be done. I sat at home after the game, icing different areas of my body. It was so much fun.

So that means I skipped the BBQ to lay on the couch and feel sorry for myself.

Tonight I am finally getting my hairy legs waxed. I haven't been able to wear shorts or capris for two weeks now LOL, and it's HOT outside!

I checked the garden the other day and even though the weeds are higher than the plants, I see things growing! I see pea pods and string beans, and the potato plants are in bloom. I don't think I got any cucumbers this year, and I can't tell if there are carrots or not, but i'm sure i'll have plenty of onions. There's a crapload of dill growing all over the place as well.

Question: I was going to lay sod on the garden this fall, but I wonder if I should first round-up the garden, leave it for a year, and THEN sod? What do you think? That would get rid of the weeds and the dill, right?

It was really hard to wake up for Max Interval class this morning. I thought I went to sleep at a reasonable hour, so I don't know why I am soooooo tired this morning. Coffee for the win!

My breakfast is orange juice and purple grapes that I left at work yesterday. Oh, and I have a few almonds in my desk drawer somewhere. How does a week start out so well and then crash so hard on hump day?

Yesterday my schedule got messed up. I had planned on finishing the yardwork and the laundry. But Grandma phoned and wanted to go out for dinner. I am not one to pass these things up, you know  so we went to a newly opened restaurant where I ordered buffalo chicken and got something entirely different. It was still good, but I was really pining for some spicy buffalo chicken breast. I would have sent it back, but i'd already eaten everything else on the plate - salad, rice and veggies. Apparently i'm a 'eat-one-thing-at-a-time' kind of person. Hmmn. Took half the chicken home.

That took up a good chunk of time and when I got home I just didn't want to do anything. So I did the laundry, tidied in the kitchen and even painted my toenails in order to avoid having to go back outside to the yardwork. Some things never change, you know?

I've got a ball game tonight, and an invite to a BBQ out of town. I'd rather not go, but maybe I won't feel so tired after playing ball. Then again, it's so humid out there I wouldn't be surprised if I come home soaked to the bone again!

I am def a one item at a time eater most of the time, exception breakfast foods :) You will be getting alot of rest on the plane Saturday I'm sure, that is unless you are like me and chat with the flight attendants and have cocktails...hahahaha How long is the flight? Yesterday was a pretty darn good day, all told.

I was going to work on the yard after work, but decided to cook dinner instead. I also threw in a load of laundry and cleaned the kitchen. After dinner I went to the ball game. I played like crap. Ok, I started out really well, but then I think the team we were playing against intimidated me, and I lost my mojo! We lost by a number of runs.

I was filmed in sweat once I got home, and instead of heading inside where it was cooler, I pulled out the lawnmower and got started on the grass cutting. Whew! Finally! I did the very back of the yard, and the front boulevard and front yard. So I still have to do rest of the backyard and up by the garden. Too much lawn haha!

When I got back inside the house, I folded laundry and did a few extra things to get ready for my trip. It was a very productive night! That's what I like about Mondays... you're not dead-tired from working all week ;)

Today I need to do a few small things after work, and then later on tonight i'm hoping I can finish up the yardwork (or at least get the rest of the grass cut). Max cardio is in the books!

I did my Max Plyo class early this morning. I'm not sure why it's so much easier to get up early on Monday than it is the rest of the week... anyways, I had plenty of time to shower and get ready for work afterwards. Very nice way to start the week!

Last week of insanity!!! I'm excited, except for one thing... I leave early AM for my trip on Saturday, which means I can't get the VERY LAST workout in before my trip! I will try to do a double this week, but i'm not making any promises! Still, so happy to have made it through *almost* and can't wait until I get back from my trip to go at it again!

On Saturday, after core cardio and balance class, I went over to grandma's to watch a parade (it goes right past her place), then out for lunch with my aunt and uncle. Then I went GOLFING yay! with my uncle in extreme heat. I drank two beers afterwards, like they were water. Boi was it hot out. Went home, felt a little drunk, cracked another beer haha. Then I went back over to grandma's for dinner (I love it when other people feed me). After I ate, I felt like I needed a nap so I went home.

Around 10pm, a few friends showed up and we sat out on the deck with drinks. I think I had another two beer. There was a street dance in town, and I live about two blocks away from where they set up, so we decided to check it out. We stayed to the end, seriously we were the very last people to leave! And I had my fill of beer; I thought my eyes were swimming in it by the end of the night. We also had alabama slammers (drop shot). I am surprised I could walk home. All my favorite stalkers and talkers found me throughout the night, and I am once again unindated with text messages and propositions. Yay. But it was fun, and I may even have missed my stalkers and talkers *gasp* just a bit LOL!!!

Well, I have a to-do list of things to get done today so i'd better get at it. First up - get through the workday!

LOL!! Similar indeed :) Yeah it is nice having a fan club at times ;) I would have totally did your laundry but i got the message too late :P Yep cleaning and all that jazz? Wayy overrated..What time is your flight on Saturday? I am sure it is early..Fitting in a Cardio Core and Balance class isn't bad for a double workout day..Anyhoo I am sure you are excited about your trip :) Have a good day girly!

Okay I stand corrected, I was looking at last week's schedule but Thursday might be a good day to do Max Cardio and save the CCB class for evening since it is easier, and perhaps add Cardio abs on Friday since it would only take 16 minutes extra..You could save that class til Friday evening if you have to work? Just a thought..LOL

Insanity Max Interval class this morning. I was breathing pretty hard by the end of it!

Looks like it's going to be a warm day today, mid 20's. I went to sleep early last night and am feeling pretty refreshed; now if only I had made myself a massage appointment! My shoulders are killing me!

Plans for the weekend:

Friday - If I have energy tonight i'd like to pull some weeds and see what's in the garden. If not, I should at least clean the bathroom.

Saturday - Drive to city to see Dad; do laundry and clean kitchen; pull weeds. Walk around uptown (there's a festival in town this weekend); possibly go to a street dance.

Sunday - More yardwork; clean living room and mud room; tidy upstairs.

If I can get the inside of the house spotless, i'll be happy. I like coming home from a trip to a clean house :)
