Lesson learned, don't eat a full meal at 9 and go to bed at 10. LOL

Welcome to the New Year.
I had no intention of being MIA. The habit a writting every day wasn't very well ingrained. December ramped up both my depression and anxiety. Things have gotten better as I'm walking every day even when I'm exhausted from work.
Bright Blessings

Walking is excellent! And I noticed you've dropped a couple of pounds too. Congratulations! Your year is off to a very good start!
Yesterday ended up being amazing. I went to an event with The Minimalists. My sister wasn't able to go so I invited a random person from the meet up group. The event was amazing and Terri and I got along like we had been friends forever. Today my son and I are going out to lunch.

Sounds like you are spending your time well with people who are good company :) that is awesome!
Feeling better today. I didn't get up until 11. However, I did get dressed, ate breakfast, fed and watered the cat and went food shopping. Now I need to do the laundry and then I will mostly be caught up.
Sheesh, forgot to put this.

Sounds like a productive day!
Your bar graph is looking good! Congrats.
Second time writting this post. Was almost finished when I somehow deleted it.
I've been eating too late at night. I know it's not healthy to eat just before bed. It does leave me foggy in the morning. On top of that, I've had a few days of big time sadness.
I'm on vacation for me. It's my birthday week. I realized last week that the only people I have to spend it with are my sister and son. My sister is up north closing on her house and seeing her neurologist. My son is up to his neck in alligators with school and work.
Okay, that's my moment of pitty party.

Alas, I consume the majority of my calories late, usually in bed, bingeing on medical dramas. Have read study after study that says calories more efficiently burned daytimes.
Happy Bday this week! you know, even if you cannot be with them to celebrate, you can chat on the phone with them. then, in better timing, you will celebrate when everyone can be there. things get in the way; but i am sure you all will find a good day to celebrate soon. <3 being crazy with covid times; and people somewhat busier now; i never really have plans for my bday, especially if during the week i do not celebrate until a weekend.
Still taking care of me. Yesterday I got my veggies and fruit as the rain held off. Today I finished my other shopping. Small victory, no sweets in my basket.
Now I'm trying to get my appartment straightened out. The clutter and mess increase my anxiety.

Finally under 150.
My reaction to the crazyness at work is causing a lot of stress. Ended the work day yesturday with savoring half a chocolate bar. Threw the other half in the trash. A trick I learned from a friend.
It's almost noon so I guess I should get out of bed.
Today is clean out the refrigerator because tomorrow is shopping day. I should probably make Saturday my farmers market day. Walking in the fresh air would give me exercise and a destress. For some reason everything hurts today and I am feeling my age. I'm sure the age thing is my upcoming birthday.
Wow, I've been up for almost an hour and haven't had my coffee. Hugs to all, just because.

Need to clean fridge too.
Maybe you ache because of all the stress that you've been under this week. That is to say that the mental stress has manifested itself physically.
Hugs to you too - hope you've had a cuppa by now :-)
Forgot to weigh yesterday. Oooops.
Today has been good. My sister and I had brunch together. I'm glad we are back to being friends. We're 5 years apart so my high school years were difficult for both of us.

My boy cat is black. My girls are brown tabby (Old Kitty) and then a tortie (Baby Kitty).
Good day today food wise. Work wise, lets just say I need more anger management help, but at least I didn't hurt my co-worker. Now I get to be home with the fur ball.
Be safe and make good choices.

Work is sometimes aggravating yes! it really depends on who your coworkers are! :)
What’s your fur baby?
What kinda job do you have? My most recent regular job was teaching high school.
I'm a nurse anesthetist doing sedation for an office practice. I've been there 2 years. Love the docs and the patients but I have 2 co-workers who don't seem to understand that I'm responsible for the patients until they leave. 2 years and my son is done with college. Then I retire for real.
I have 3 cats and they all love my daughter.
How much does your kitty weigh?
Well here’s hoping those coworkers of yours wise up soon enough!
Rescued her last August (2020).
I have two dogs - one is mine and the other thinks he is (he belongs to my husband). I have had cats all my life - my husband says NO.
The road to hell is paved with good intentions.
That was me today. Didn't do well when I offered to buy pizza for the team. We worked hard and I thought we could all use some lunch. Should have known that was a bad idea. At least I didn't feel like burrying my co-workers. That's an improvement.

Sad to say I eat most of my calories around then. I go easy all day to keep Cals down and then have planned stuff 8-9 or whatever.

sorry it took me until today to respond! i fall behind a lot these days. but i try to catch up, best i can anyways.
Great Twain quote below. i like it!
Also, it's GREAT to hear you are getting in walking everyday. I like to walk often too; but this long holiday weekend i was naughty and was mostly on the couch. needed a breather, not that i would ever suggest that as the best way to go...
you have a lot of productive items to accomplish. sewing can be easier after several lessons. my sister learned to sew, i believe she took a class in college as it was fashion merchandising management. but i could be wrong, maybe it was a summer class before going to college as a teen. either way, she actually did learn the basics. wish i knew them. i just do a basic stitch and it usually doesn't look great....so it's usually home clothes that i am sewing, since nobody sees me in them outdoors! ha!

Dishes has been a frequent topic of discussion at my house. It seems as though nobody - NOBODY - likes to wash dishes here. I feel your pain.
That sounds like a lot of fun to learn how to sew properly. I work with a woman who studied fashion design in college and she is amazing at what she has created.
Maria7 on 01/03/2022:
Hope you have a good day. Sewing is something good to know how to do. If nothing more than to know how to mend clothing. I don't make my own clothes as I once did, but I use my sewing skills to repair or make adjustments to clothing.

Welcome back! I love sewing too. Mom was a costumer. I learned from her. Right now I'm planning to recreate Rick Rude's Simply Ravishing wrestling robe as a bathrobe. What are you going to make?
