Doing good with my diet. lost 2 more pounds this week. went to a bbq and birthday party and ate sensibly and had 1 cookie but skipped the birthday cake and ice cream. Been keeping my calorie count between 1200 to 1500 cal everyday. Went to the cemetary and decorated my dads grave. it looks very nice.

Ran some errands yesterday. Went to visit my Mom. Bought some groceries and got a small seedless watermelon. Love summer all the fresh fruits and vegatables taste so good. Rainy today and my joints are telling me about it. Did some stretches which helps. Hope you all have a good weekend coming up.

Good day yesterday and a quiet day planned for today. Staying on my diet and going for a walk today. Love this time of dieting the weight comes off fast lol. I tell myself everyday when I get hungry or cravings, I deserve to lose this weight and get healthy. My 1st husband abused me and after my divorce I gained over 100lbs in 1 year. This was when I was in my early 20s. I became an emotional eater. Eat when I am sad for the momentary pleasure. But what I ended up doing was abusing myself. Ruined my knees and disabled myself. I am not abusing myself anymore and I will get healthy.

Had a great weekend Took my grandkids to the drive in and stayed on my diet. Got alot of walking in for me that is. Yesterday was just a day of relaxing. Stayed on my diet and lost 2 more lbs YAY.

Had a great day yesterday. Stayed under 1500 cal. cleaned my house and went for a walk. My knees were killing me when I got home though. No one tells you when you have knee replacrment that you will still have some pain. but since a year ago I was walking with a walker I will never regret having the surgeries done. Went to bed last night hungry but Seeing the scales this morning it was worth it YAY.

Have done good with my diet the last 2 days eating 3 meals a day and had a small bag of popcorn last night. Kept my calories under 1500 and did some stretches. exercising is a problem because of my arthritis cant overdue it or I pay for it for days. When my dad was in the hospital I helped the nurses aides pull him up in bed and damaged the cartilage in my left shoulder. My dr gave me a cortisone shot which helped some but cant lift and have limited range of motion in that arm. I am a goal oriented person and my goal now is to get healthier and to feel better. Hope everyone has a good weekend planned. My Mom and I are going out for lunch tomorrow to a great buffet with a huge salad and fruit bar. Then Sat night taking my grandkids to the drive in to see the Avengers. love a good comic book movie.

I weighed myself yesterday evening after eating supper so I knew it was heavier than I would be today with an empty stomach. Thank you all for the encouragement. My Father passed away March 1st and it has been hard on the whole family but where everyone else is complaining of no appetite and losing weight I was eating everything in sight and buying nothing but junk food.

I have been off the group for months and gained almost 30 lbs. My father was very ill and then passed 2 and a half months ago. Just like the food addict I am I have been eating whatever I want drowning myself in food but I have to get back on a diet. My joints are killing me even my new knees. So wish me luck

Still holding my own and lost 2 more pounds this week Yay. Even went to a great buffet Sat night , had a nice date and ate a large salad with low fat dressing, and a little of alot of stuff but stayed with the proteins and veggies no starches and stayed away from the dessert bar. Had fruit off the salad bar for dessert. Today I took my Mom to the store to buy our Thanksgiving stuff and instead of a pie which is usually 300 cal or more for a small slice got a pumpkin bread mix. The whole loaf is only 1200 cal. 100 cal a slice with a little low fat cool whip should be good Anyone else have any lower cal hints for thanksgiving?
