Just wanted to let you know that I'm still  alive and kicking.

Taking a little time off, for some soul searching. I'll still use the site for my personal diary. I love checking in on your dailey post. You still make me smile.  Beleive it or not, I still get a lot of strengh from your postings.  

Please know that I love each and every one of you VERY MUCH.   

I've been trying to find another workable program. I'm searching for something that will help me deal with mind, body and soul. I just need a total overhaul right about now    So please don't forget about your girl.......I'm just going through some things right now.  I'll get through this, and come back to ya, stronger than before.

Went out to eat.  I feel good about my choices.  Tomorrow - Ground turkey,, veges -  fruit - wheat bread and lots of water. . I'll up date tomorrow. So sleepy, Talk with ya  2mrrw.

I've never eaten turnip greens! how do you prepare them? I have cooked collard greens a few times and i like them a lot!

Foods for Saturday:  Chicken salad - Ground turkey - turnip greens - ice tea- lots of water -  fruit - peanuts - protein drink or jello sugar free pudding.


Didn't get to eat any of the foods I had planned. Instead I was taken out for Chinese Food.  I ate sensibly, didn't go back for seconds. This was the ONLY meal eaten for the whole day.  I will have Friday's meal on Saturday.......Just keeping it REAL.

Your foods and exercise sound great. Turnip greens, hmmm.....I have no experience with turnips except for enjoying them (mashed on holidays) when someone else prepares them. Have never had the greens, where do you get them?

                  I'm SO sore!

Think I may have over did it a little on treadmill. I've got aches in places I didn't  even know exist.  

It won't stop me! I'll just have to take it easy for a while. Maybe once a day, until these old granny muscles get use to walking again.


Tuna - cut green beans - grilled chicken - 1 cup of beans - diet 7 up - lots of water - sunflower seeds - grapes

lol on moogy calling you grandma! :)))) You can do it, and it does you good! :) Hey, your menu sounds pretty awesome sis, you rock!!!! :))) About the dizziness: Yes, I figured it all out. It was because of the way I was turning around in bed during the night. I forced my neck too much and it made me see the world turning upside down. Now I take more care and try to turn around more consciously which is not easy when I'm asleep but I'm showing no symptoms since then.

Good job using your treadmill. Keep it up w/out hurting yourself. A warm bath or hot shower might help loosen the muscles. Even moving around a bit more might help. Your food does look good! Keep at it sweetie!

Well, sore can be good (when it goes alway!). You'll know next time how much is "too" much. Take it easy at first and add little bit at a time - no hurry. It's great you have that thing - can walk even if hot, cold or rainy weather!

            Hello Everyone!

                   Soooooo Happy.  

Today I stepped out on faith, and bought something I've been thinking about getting for a long time. I was kinda reluctant to spend so much money,,,,but money will come again,,,,good health is priceless.

 I bought a  Vitamaster Treadmill!  

I found it on craigslist last night.  I called the owners this morning, and drove out to their home and tried it out. I absolutely love it. The husband and wife even brought it to my apt. How nice was that!

I actually walked for about 5 mins, earlier today, and another 5 mins. about an hour ago.  For me,, that's pretty good.  

I plan to use it regularly each day, and gradually increase my walk time, as I go.. So, can someone tell me please, is it better to exercise in the morning or at night before bed?

I've GOT to do this!  My Doctor said I must try to walk dailey to better my health. Hopefully, walking on my treadmill, WILL help me start to feel better,,,, eventually.

It has the tread climber feature, keeps track of time, distance and calories burned. I'll try to post a picture, when I learn how to transfer it to my PC.

                        Food List 

1 Atkins bar, & decafe coffee for brkfst - huge salad- cabbage- ground turkey - ice tea -  1/2 cup of grapes - water, but not enough.

Congrats! As for when to exercise, I say do it whenever it feels right for you and more importantly, when you can fit it into your day! I have done it at various times of the day over the years and all exercise is good :) Hope you have a great day!

Just my own experience, I found I had trouble sleeping if I exercised at night anytime near bedtime. Morning works best for me, but then you should try and see what works best for you.

When I read that I thought YEAH! What she said! You have already lost 62 lbs girl! That is so fabulous - now - you have your treamill. Keep on walking lady!

Exciting news! Now we both have treadmills. I always exercise early in the morning to boost my metabolism for the day and because I am too tired in the afternoon.

We got lots of rain today, even hale! Rare, but beautiful. 

Not much to say today.  Still a little pissed at myself about yesterday, but anyway we learn from our mistakes.   Thanks for all of your support....

     We'll I'm out, it's time for Judge Judy. I love Mathes the best, but Judy and Alex are my next two favorites.

                                               Today's Menu:

Breakfast:  Atkins bar - coffee - water- and tonight : cabbage - ground turkey -  salad-  grapes - more water. If I get real hungry later tonight, I'll have a sugar free Jello pudding.
