Tomorrow, Halloween! And payday!! And work. In the end, I couldn't finish the costume in time, which is just as well? Maybe next year, I'll work on it during my summer vacation. (Or finish it for a convention or the next Harry Potter movie or something.) Also, just a minor aside, I kind of feel like knitting a sweater for my costume.

I have done so little drawing lately, I'll spend some time tomorrow doodling.

i also like the curry flavored potatoes bc they take on the color and flavor really well! yumm...and curry makes it healthier because curry is def non-inflammatory...good stuff

The weekend was very boring. Work Friday, work Saturday, and I was completely out of it on Sunday. Work for 13 days straight really took it out of me. And although I wanted to do stuff on my day off, I could barely get moving. I think I should have spent the entire day in bed for all the good I did.

On more positive noise, I'm feeling more like myself. I was definitely a zombie last week.

I think it'll be ten weeks tomorrow since I started, and hey, I lost 5kg. *thumbs up all around*... I wish I made more progress, but it's okay. That's pretty good results despite all the lazy choices I've made.

I didn't realize I repeated the chicken until after I ate dinner. I just didn't want another egg, and I might have had too many sausages lately.

My plan, as much as you can say that I have one, is to cut more calories. Which probably means less carbs? I added a question mark because I don't think I can cut all the carbs out even if I tried. ...

Sometime after the previous entry, while I was pretty much too tired to stop myself from contemplating death, I realized that this state I'm in now (constantly working, constantly playing catchup with work and sleep, constantly tired) is basically now my base state until maybe March. So I need to figure out how to work my dieting goals into this unending exhaustion.

I have to ruminate on that for a while.

All that aside, Halloween. While exhausted, I realized that no one cares if I finish my costume or not. What's the point? What a waste of time, but was that the sadness talking? I can't stop myself from trying to finish it tonight... even though it really doesn't matter to anyone else if I manage to finish it or not. I just want to finish one thing this month. And I have the fabric.

Love fried chicken myself and also hot wings.......especially paired with pizza. Have been mostly avoiding them for the past couple months, but am looking forward to them once I get to goal.

I went to bed early again last night. I woke up fine, and I didn't feel like a zombie all day.  Which is great, apart from the nightmare.

I dreamt that the Saturday work was moved to today, and since Awake-me still hasn't finish the prep work, Dream-me was wholly unprepared. Dream-me cried, but she eventually pulled something out of her butt. But, that dream bothered me so much, it got me back into motion.

Good thing that I spent the last two nights doing nothing except watch pro wrestling and sleep, huh. I didn't draw. I didn't work on my costume... I now have just enough energy to get through an all-nighter. Ha ha, I'm very tired and need a break.

Same as Bear above, I haven't thought about cream cheese and bacon on a sandwich before. I use mayo on a BLT usually.

Now that I'm thinking about it, I'd like to try a nice toasted crusty baguette (or bagel) with a garlic cream cheese spread, crispy bacon, and caramelized onions. Maybe add some olive topenade. But it'll have to wait until I hit goal or fall of the wagon......

I forgot to weigh myself today. I overslept, took too long getting dressed, and it was a miracle that I got into work on time.

I did Halloween stuff today. I definitely need a long sleep. That's pretty much it.

i enjoy eating sausage too...many times it's the healthier variety...made of chicken and a little less calories :) near me, there's a brand or two i can always find with sooo many varieties of chicken sausage with sooo many different flavors, so it isn't boring ;)

I don't think the brand I'm eating is healthy at all. It's just easier to heat a sausage up than to cook an egg. Straight lazy.

Yesterday was long. I might have fallen asleep at my desk a tiny bit. I had fun at the monthly dinner. Then I worked on my costume prototype. It still needs sleeves and more work.

I went to bed at 9:30, very early for me, but still ended up oversleeping and getting to work just under the wire. It was such a full day, I finally got to enjoy a cup of coffee some 10 minutes before I had to leave for the day. I was pretty happy that my evening work was cancelled at the last minute. If only for an extra hour of rest.

I have to wash my hair at some point, but it's a debate between going to bed with a wet head or a head covered in coconut oil. Both sound not that great.

I've been feelling a bit under the weather since yesterday, nothing worse than a scratchy, sore throat. The nights are cold and me working and stressing is not helping, I know. I need a spa day...

It's not a bad fish, small and white. The fried bread wasn't my idea, however much I like it. the sandwich was actually kind of gross and didn't sit right.

October is definitely pumpkin time. I feel like I missed out on the pumpkin spice lattes, but there's a lot of other pumpkin-flavored treats around, I don't feel too bad about it.

It's been a long weekend, and I've been trying not to burn myself out.

Yesterday's work was fine. A half-day, I was MC, and the event went well. It was smaller than last year, and I had to do a lot of walking back and forth because they brought wired mics. But after a few fun races and a Halloween dance, it was over.

After I got home, I took an uneasy nap. I was expecting a package and I didn't want to miss it. I missed it. I had to go to the post office to pick it up: a pack of stockings. (The ones at the local physical stores are currently a couple of sizes too small.)

Had work today, too. I got home around 3, and I didn't take a nap. Mostly because I need to get as much as my costume done tonight. Hence all the coffee and Red Bulls. I had hoped I would receive another package today, a necktie for my costume, but I'm not that lucky.

The base of my right thumb hurts whenever I put pressure on it or stretch it. Bad drawing form? It happens when I overdo it and am stressed out. I'll put something on it to relieve the carpal tunnel pain.

My coworker thought my rice today was amazing. I told her it's only a bunch of frozen food mixed in. "I'm not a good cook." "Good enough to survive," she said. I've been using that phrase, "Good enough for x", a lot lately. Hearing her say that made me smile.

Tonight, I'm going to make a prototype of my costume. I'm not nearly there yet. I had to redo the front piece, and fix the redo. Now to make the back piece. And cut the fabric. Stitch the fabric up. Check if it looks okay. I haven't even gotten started on the sleeves...

Tomorrow, work. I have my monthly dinner with the older folks tomorrow night, too. I probably won't get my tie until Wednesday.

It sounds to me like you have a LOT of activities that you try to fit in...

Yes, do try not to overdo so much...you do not have to do EVERY activity and event if it's stressing you and causing you to drink so much redbull and coffee bc those drinks make you anxious and more stressed...

i'm glad she liked your rice! the more you cook, the better you will get!!

Another rough entry. I had a long night a work yesterday and went to bed earlier than usual. Only to wake up groggy and stiff.

Breakfast: rice with spinach, bacon, corn / sausage

Lunch: ramen with soy sauce soup / slice of pineapple / I don’t remember what the side was

Snacks: four pieces of chocolate / instant coffee x 2

Dinner: pizza steamed bun / Camembert and ham sandwich / coffee / ice cream bar

I seriously craved a Red Bull last night. I bought two. I drank one this morning.

Today, work. I’m part of a Sports Day thing. I’m not doing most of the sporty stuff, I’m the one with the mic doing most of the talking. Afterwards, I’m going to work on my costume. Or crash and sleep for four hours. We’ll see.

Progress as of today: 11 lbs lost so far, only 89 lbs to go!

Love most chinese / japanese / korean food, but have never enjoyed the steamed buns personally. It's weird because I love most types of fresh baked bread.

I see the scale number dropped. Keep up the fight.

On TV, they're talking about a town where the specialty food is wrapping stuff in bacon and grilling it like shishkabobs. Vegetables, coriander, eggs... strawberries... sweet rice cake... I want to go there and try some. That strawberry-bacon one sounds good?

Pre-diabetes can feel like that... food poisoning, sweatiness, mildly sick after eating. It can feel like extreme hunger and thirst, even though you just ate or drank. Difficulty focusing, catching colds easily, etc. But if you catch it early you can reverse it.

Bit of a rough entry from my phone. Yesterday, I didn’t go straight home, per se. I took a detour for a steamed bun. A craving, I guess. Then I spent most of the night either sort of cleaning my bathroom or making a sewing pattern. I underestimated how much time I will spend drawing out a pattern. I only got the front piece done. The back piece is basically a tracing of the front piece but with a shallower neck line, but the time I got to that, I was too tired to go on.

Breakfast: Rice with spinach, bacon, corn / Sausage / Instant coffee

Lunch: Spaghetti with meat sauce, carrots onions mushrooms / Fruit in syrup. (Basically a variation of Tuesday’s lunch. I work in different towns through the week so it happens sometimes.)

Snacks: 7 pieces of chocolate throughout the day / Pizza steamed bun / Red Bull / 2 instant coffees

Dinner: Rice from morning / Sausage

Today, I have this weekend’s classes to prepare for. There willl be some shopping for Halloween stuff. I didn’t draw yesterday, and I still haven’t finished the pattern, but I’m postponing most of that for tomorrow. I’m mostly in the office today so I have a lot of prep time on my hands.

yes, less is more...i was planning to drink an energy drink after work but instead may go for coffee because it's more natural and my skin has been breaking out....def partially / totally due to Monster Energy drinks.

Might have to either postpone or drive to save time.

... I want to do an hour-by-hour thing. Let's start.

5 am: Alarm goes off. Soul wept as I realized it's Wednesday.
6 am: Finished breakfast.

... I'm still a bit loopy.

i remember you saying how tired you have been getting...sometimes it's better to sleep and skip the red bull....although i had a monster energy drink tonight but i expect to sleep since i used my energy up exercising!

There's just not enough time to do everything *and* sleep. :) I think I'm doing fairly okay with the Red Bull. I don't drink 2 a day anymore, for example.
