Good morning all

Yesterday was off food and water.

I was not feeling well and sure hope today will be better.  I had a hard time keeping stuff down - sorry for the details but it is what it is. 

I definitely have to go out today everything in the house seems to be the wrong stuff or my stomach does not agree with it.  I need to readjust my food for the next few days. 

I have tickets for a comedy club tonight and I sure want to make it there and not feel sick to my stomach at least not from food - if it is from laughing too much that would be good.

The weather has been real nice so great not to be in the snow - I greatly appreciate being able to escape Winters.

Look up the nearest Urgent Care if you don't start feeling better. They might get you some drugs for that week stomach feeling.

Good morning

Yesterday was a good day for food and water.

Did not get too much accomplish was not feelling all that well so I decided to just take it easy for one day.

I was in bed by 10 last night and up today at 6:00 a good night of sleep still feel a little sluggish.  I sure hope I am not coming down with something.  Still tired might just go back to bed.

Good morning

Yesterday my food was good and water was great.

I need to go to the grocery store today I am getting low on vegetable.  I also need to find something new to cook.  I seem to get to a point where I don't know what to cook any more.  I use a lot of spices and mixture of stuff together and sometimes I creature a new dish by accident but my imagination is getting low on ideas.  Cooking for one is also a little bit of a challenge. 

So any ideas about sushi -  is it low calorie?   What are your opinions on that?  Do you know where I can get the sheets to roll the rice and the veg and the meat in?  I just thought that it would be a nice change to regular food I know there is the rice but I think once in a while it would be OK.   Will await your opinions on this. 

I did have my omelette last night now that craving has been satisfied I guess onto the next one.... lol

Depends on what kind of sushi. It depends on what it is made with. I've had some made with fried shrimp, avocado and cream cheese that tasted delicious but not so good in calories. I've had a California roll with cucumber and other vegetables only which would be a better option. Good luck with your search.

I understand the fried stuff would be more. I do not do fried food. I think in my case it would only be the rice that would be the high part for cal. I also do not want to make the rice with real sugar according to the recipe. Will be substituting. Could be something interesting to add to my list of good and healthy foods.

Never made my own--I figure I wouldn't be able to find the sushi rice, so that was that.

Hi Frann! Yes, cooking for one can be a challenge. but a good thing, is that if you make a family-style meal, you can eat it for almost a whole week with leftovers!

Maybe go on pinterest or other sites that have good recipes?

Yes, i'm also always going to the supermarket for more veggies. This week though, I bought a ton, so if I go to the supermarket, it's only to buy a chicken! haha.

Sushi is def not low calorie. Actually, it's sorta high calorie. Depending on the ingredients, it can be low fat.

You can make sushi healthy by using brown sticky rice instead of white. The seaweed wrapper is good for you. You can use avocado in it which is super healthy and also tuna or another fish in there for additional protein and and health. and then add a few veggies.

sushi is not necessarily unhealthy at all, but just not low calorie. rice is high calorie.

Good morning

Yesterday was a good day food and water.

Did not have breakfast for dinner but today I will because I still have that craving.  I went back to the store and yes they had my bag so I got that and picked up some other stuff I realized I needed.

I need to do a little bit of laundry today.  The washer and dryer in the unit are apartment size so I cannot wait till I have tons of stuff to wash like at home in my regular size machines.  A little at a time will keep it all clean and my loads done no accumulations. 

I am on coffe mode right now and seeing the day start off to a sunny but cool day.  Still better then the -20C back home guys I will not trade it in for that.... lol

Good morning to all

Yesterday was a good day food but water was almost none. 

I have to go run some errands today.  I got some stuff but I guess I must have left a back at the store so returning today to see if they found it.  It will be interesting to see if it will be there or if I will have to buy it all over again.

I am planning breakfast for dinner tonight - just hungry for an omelette thought it would be nice to switch the meals around a bit.  Why not.

Having a beautiful day and I am pretty much settle in completely.  Will have to do some laundry today.

Sometimes I eat eggs and a ton of vegetables at night. Mixed together with poultry seasoning and salt. Hope you get your stuff back.

Yesterday was a little bit over the top but it was Christmas and today is another day.

Wow what nice weather we are having sure does not feel like end of December. 

Starting to shut down a few things at home for my departure and cleaning out stuff that will not make it through the Winter until I come back.

Today is mostly a relax day after having all my company over yesterday but did accomplish a few small things.

All is good at this end.

Busy day ahead - can you believe it its Xmas Eve wow how time flies.  Will be setting up stuff today for tomorrow get together which will make tomorrow easier and less busy.  Some of my stuff can be done today and just taken out tomorrow.  I also have some laundry to do and some garbage to take out because there will be lots of garbage tomorrow.

We have tons of rain too. Should be everyday for us for the next 6 days. But, I don't care. It's SO MUCH NICER than snow. I think i'd prefer a RAINY SEASON to a winter season! haha

glad to hear everything is going well & things are falling into place for your upcoming trip! how exciting! I can't wait to live thru it through you - and i'm NOT kidding. I will not really be traveling ANYWHERE for a long time. I don't have the vacation time or the funds. That's my life & it's just something I do have to accept..we all can't have everything we want all the time! And i'm thankful that growing up, I did go places with my parents. I am lucky for that. I've seen a lot already despite that I didn't travel much in my adult life.

Enjoy being back in routine & also I hope you find everything you need at the supermarket. Lately, I go there less & less...it's almost comical. Instead, I am going to a natural health food store that has a lot of prepared food and I realize I didn't even go to the regular supermarket since the middle of last week. It's been a week...and I don't see myself going again till this weekend. Like 2 weeks!
