Good morning to all

Yesterday was good food and water.

My regular Monday breakfast out with brother and S-I-L.  Later today I am going over to my friend's place for a few days will probably be back on Wednesday and I will not be posting since my computer will be at home. 

I am planning to stay on track since I can decide what to cook and eat should work out ok.  It will be a challenge but this had to happen at one point and this when I put myself to the test.  I will test myself at being in a normal situation with a non-normal eating habit.

It is a challenge but I also have to try to make it a way of life as this journey progresses finding a way to be away from my safe environment which is being home alone and being in control of everything.

Listen, Puddy. You are going to have to be the dominant one in this...er...arrangement. put your foot down right away and tell him/her, the way it's going to be for the next few days. And NO Compromising. Stand your ground. You've come a long way. Don't throw away the work you've done just for few days of "Normal". I'm just worried, that's all.

Don't worry Raven. I have no problem stand my ground. What I meant by Normal is living in that world and being able to cope without over doing it. That is my normal and not feeling deprived. I have no intention of f....king it up in any way. Maintaining would be good enough for those days away.

I'm sorta in the same situation. We are trying to close on a house and set up our classrooms in a new school. Lots of grabbing fat food. This morning we looked at each other and said " why are we turning this into excuses to eat badly?" even with fact food i can make better choices a d being busy means less temptation of boredom eating. I was lucky that I did not gain, so starting fresh today with the new outlook. You can do it!!!

I think compromise has to happen at some point, within reason anyway. I also think you will do well staying with your friend and will find a way to keep things in check under different circumstances and with possibly different foods. Life is going to be a series of these types of challenges so it's best to find a way to handle them that will work well for you and the folks around you - just my opinion!

Exactly we do have to live in this world where not all people are watching their weight so it is good to experiment and test and find our way of doing it.

Yesterday was good water and food.

The dinner out worked out well.  My selection was a chicken wrap with a salad.  It was real good. 

Today got to get some housework done. 

Severe thunder storms late last night and this morning.

A good stay in day and get some stuff done.

I can usually find things on the menu that would correspond to what I would be having at home. It is all being reasonable and thinking is it really worth pigging out.

Another week is finished and the weekend is here.  Not too sure what my weekend will hold for entertainment but I am sure I will find something to keep myself busy again.

Good morning

Yesterday was a good day food and water.

Was tired early last night so in bed earlier it means up earlier.  My regular sleeping habit.  I have been outside doing activities lately and my sleeping has been so much better.

I am pleased with my month up to date I am looking forward to seeing 209 and leaving another number in the dust....lol soon enough it is just around the corner.  I have not decided yet what I will readjust my goal weight to yet once I attain the 200.  My idea would be to go down to 170 and give myself another year to attain that at a much slower pace plus it is not falling off as easily has it use to.

So today this is what it is.  Will be a nice day again not too sure what I will do yet.  First things first my coffee time then plan the day.  lol

Yes, you are up early. Isn't it great to turn a corner of your life and put down a new series of numbers ? You have made AMAZING progress. Now it's time I want to look at this thing we are doing and make it a lifestyle. This is who we are now. Those heavy people we were in the past is just that, In The Past. And I for one, am not looking to dwell in the past. The future keeps looking brighter. Have a Healthy Day.

You are killing it Fran and you're well on track to meeting your September goal. I think you have a very realistic plan for moving forward after that too and it's because you've been so reasonable and moderate with your whole approach that you've been so successful!

I also think that incorporating my dinner's out and my Monday breakfast with brother takes me away from my routine but yet staying within the margin just not going crazy. Thank you for your support.

Hi guys

Yesterday was really good food and water - was very surprised how well it all came together.  I decided to weigh myself this morning and to my surprise I was down 1 lb.  Miracles do happen. 

We laughed so much and had so much fun.  My grandaughter no longer needs her wings in the pool she feels confident that she can swim now.  My grandson is a real little devil in the pool no way you can try to keep your hair dry especially if he knows you do not want your hair wet.  lol

I got a little bo sun and fun and it all felt really good.

Back to my routine today.

Today we are having a family reunion lol lol all 7 of us. Since we are all on holidays this week we decided we would get together and have dinner tonight.  No breakfast with brother and SIL since we will be seeing each other tonight.

Yes the water is the average 5 to 6 glasses and that seems to be working for me. Definitely it is not as much as what you put down but I do what I can. So you ready for the two last weeks of August in Paris? lol

It was real nice to have a lazy day yesterday it just has been way to busy lately.  We are having such nice weather lately that I just got carried away. 

Did my groceries yesterday so nice to have the veg. in season. 

I will go to the driving range today and hit a few balls.

We had our first sunny day in forever yesterday. It was VERY humid, though and not run to be out there - yuck. More rain for today......Except for cleaning out the old refrigerataor and babysitting - I didn't get much done. Sometimes I wonder if it's worth housecleaning too much, anyway! LOL
