Hi guys

Yesterday was good I did have my little pizza (personal pizza size) and the rest of my regular food.  Water was a little bit short 4 glasses but did have a pop with my pizza.  This was all planned just did not want to end up craving this and order a large and eat it.  I gave myself a smaller portion of it and now I move on.


Went to be late and I was up early which ended up with me going back to bed this morning and I just got up now.  It is a unusual day.  So now I will start and have my coffee and get some stuff done in here.

Good morning guys

Yesterday food good and water good.

I started my week 12 on the right foot and all went well.  I always get a little bit scared that after I weigh myself and I get a loss I will start thinking I can reward myself and that is usually food.  I did not do that and I am very happy I did not.  The first day after weigh-in is the worst.

I should go out today but I am getting a little bit lazy lately.  It must be because the weather is just not too encouraging.  Cloudy and rain.  I seem to find an excuse for just not going out and rain is a good enough excuse.  LOL

Hopefully I will get out - I did do some housework but that does not count for exercise or anything else but having a clean house.

Good morning

Yesterday was good food and water - actually my water was up.

I was down 2 pounds this morning wow.  Everytime I weigh myself I wonder if it is a solid lost or just one of those morning where you weigh a little bit less but it seem to have been my pattern for the last 11 weeks. 

Today I start week 12 and my next weigh-in is close to the end of the month but I will have a end of month weigh-in also.  I am not too sure if I will weigh in next month or closer to the end of the month I will see.

Today will be a cloudy day again - fall is definitely here.  I should go out but I will see how today goes - it is still early to make any decisions lol.

Good Afternoon Guys

Yesterday was good food and water - not perfect and no big binge just added a few things that I had not written down a few 100 calories extra which will not make a difference but still have to be honest about it and post it.

Today nothing much just a relax day.

Tomorrow is my weigh-in day.  It will be interesting to see if I can keep up my regular down record I have been on - even if it is a little bit that is good for me.

Good morning all

Yesterday food and water good.

I think I have finally found a snack that really works for me.  The grapefruit gives me something like a desert and it really fills me up. 

Spent yesterday morning with my son since he was working from home.  I did not disturb his work just a chat while he was doing his stuff on the computer - he is a IT guy.  It seems he will be home for another week with his shingles until they scale over.  Since he has it around one ear and a few spots on his cheek the boss does not want him in the office because he cannot be around if some clients come in. 

Today will go out just to get out.  It is not necessarily a great weather day rain again - on and off.  Our beautiful leaves are starting to fall off the trees and making such a nice ground covering.  I love this season so colourful.  We are fortunate this year we dont have snow yet and there is no forecast of snow in the near future.

Had shingles--singular misery! Hope he got the antiviral therapy in time.

Our gas is below $3 US for the first time in a long time.

He did not so he has the bubble and some are starting to dry up. He went to a local clinic instead of going to our Dr. because he thought he could not get in to see - I called and got him in the next day but it was too late. He does not have to many but the pain is the same. Dr. said about 5 to 6 weeks and he should start to feel much better.

Good morning guys

All is good food and water.

I am going out early today over to my son's place.  He is working out of home for the week.  He has the shingles and cannot be in work environment for a few weeks.  We are having coffee break together this morning. LOL 

Apart from that have to tank up the car gas is a little bit cheaper lately because of the market so great day for that.  I also have to pick up milk and fruit.  I pick up gratefruit yesterday and remembered how much I enjoy peeling them like an orange and having that as a snack.  I think I might have found a snack that is on the OK list.  I was looking through my old food diaries and saw the grapefruit on there.  It is good to look back on the old lists and apply some of the good things from that list.

Yep ! Grapefruit is one of my favorite snacks. I roll em' around on a paper towel to help break the skin away from the fruit. I need to look into getting some more. HaveaHealthyDay !

I love grapefruit, too. A friend showed me to broiled the halves in a toaster oven...nice for a change and makes them super sweet! good luck to your son, shingles are the worst!

I kind of forgot about the loyal grapefruit . Now that good summer fruit is gone , it's back to oranges, pears & apples. I should give grapefruit another chance.

Good morning

Yesterday was another good day food and water.

I am having a very good week up to now and certainly hope I can maintain these good habits.  I don't know why it is so easy some days and other are so hard.  It cannot be my body that needs food it all has to be the wiring in my head.  I wonder if there is another way to manage the triggers apart from just not keeping these items in my house.   I really wonder how these trigger items have so much power over me.

So today is good and on a positive side today will be a good day.  I always try to keep myself on the positive side in my thinking.  

I am so grateful for all you guys on this site for your sharing of the good and the bad that goes on in your day.  This motivates me to keep myself on the honest and to go through my day trying to be as good as I can.

Mornin' Puddy ! Hey, why would you want to keep "trigger" food in your house anyway ?. Eat a lot of sauerkraut, pickles, apple's, etc. Coffee and tea are good. Replace your triggers with something else.

Some of the trigger foods are things that could be used for other purposes - Bread - slice cheese etc - so every time I want a sandwich I have to go out and buy a bread keep maybe 6 slices and get rid of the rest (garbage bin) because I will eat it. That is what really drives me crazy. I have such a waste of money and produce.

I totally understand about the trigger foods not always being "junk" food and being what I call "normal" foods just like you indicated bread, etc. I too can so easily overeat and binge on things that are part of my regular food intake. It can be hard at times to manage. We seem to share the same struggle in this area. Being aware I think is key and you're doing a great job!

Good morning all

Yesterday food perfect and water excellent.

I really felt like some munchies last night but manage to get through it without endulging.  Actually since there is nothing in the house to munch on it makes it much easier.  I would have had to get dress take the car out to the corner store and who wants to do that at 10:00 pm.  If I had something in the house it would have been gone by this morning.  I cannot trust myself with that kind of food in the house. 

Today rain day so going to get my house stuff done hoping that the week will go fast because it is suppose to be a rainy week.  I will have to find things to keep myself busy this week.  It is still too early to start packing for my Winter getaway but I can start making my list of things I have to bring, list of things I still have to do and research my travel health insurance and the cost for this year.  I use the snowbird association Medipac and they have been really reasonable for me and gives me a perfect coverage.  Actually I am not much of a problem since I take no medication of anykind and dont have any health problems that have been detected.

I'm feeling like you did last night. Munchy. I don't want anymore popcorn (Fit&Active brand, regular size microwave bag) So I've started slicing up a big ole' Turnip. Yep ! I ate the whole thing.

Good morning guys

Yesterday food was perfect no extra and no cravings - water was low 6 glasses.

I am so glad to see new and old members coming back.  The more or us on here the better it is.  Nice to have all the postings to encourage ourselves why we are here and also that we are not alone on this journey to a healthier life.

Today I need to go out again because I have to replenish my cupboards for another 3 days or so.  There are also a few specials I want to take advantage of.  It seems some weeks are better for the sales then others.  It is probably because last weekend was Thanksgiving and they put a lot of stuff on sale.  I am finding it more expensive to follow a plan than to buy all the junk I use to buy.  It is definitely dollars well spent.  

The weather will be rainy for the next few days but very warm - it will be 30c (88F) with humidex today.  It has been an unusual Fall - I am not complaining because the snow is coming.

We're having warmish rainy weather here, too. No complaints from me, either. :) Have fun stocking up. I actually don't find it too much more expensive, since I buy so little meat now, but some veggies have gone really high the last few weeks! Have a good day.

Good Afternoon Guys

Yesterday was really good with my company and happy to report that my weight in today was good down another pound.

The house is back to normal and all is put away.  I was able to give away all the leftovers  - the kids love that they come and eat and take the rest home with them.  LOL  So I have none of the num nums left in the house.

I start week 11 today and hoping to keep myself going in the same direction has the previous weeks.
