Well yesterday was a bust. But Its okay. I'm gonna do better. Right now its a trial and error system.....First eating better and then working out. Come Monday though....I start Insanity again, start weight lifting again, and (shudders) running. My physical therapist cleared me to work out so....Monday we begin! I'm going to try to be mindful of what I'm eating.....be a good girl Sara!

Tonight Daniel has a Field Artillery dinner for his unit, which means....lots of bad food with good company. Their unit dinners are much more fun than our Medical ones....Mostly because when you get a bunch of rowdy Soldiers together interesting things happen :) 

So far today....

B (530) - Oatmeal with some protein powder, yogurt, and some bluberries (Maybe 300)

S (10) - Turkey sandwich (250)

L (2) - Something light....Dinner is going to be heavy I think (Maybe 200)

D (6) - PSH...Maybe 400

S (*) - TBD...Maybe 200

Total - Hoping for 1500!

Alrighty, new day, new mindset. Started today with a nice 3 mile walk and some pool physical therapy.

Today I'll try to move my butt around the office so I'm not sitting on it for 8 hours.....

B (530) - Coffee (45) + Oatmeal (150) + PB (95) + blueberries (35) = 321

S (9) - Strawberries (90) + Yogurt (120) = 220

L (12) - I'm thinking maybe some "fake" mexican, shredded chicken, some greek yogurt, and some salsa...maybe a little shredded cheese and by little i mean litttttle.Well that didn't happen. Ended up with turkey sandwich (wheat bread, honey mustard, tomato, spinach, turkey, pepperjack cheese) = 275

Total So Far = 797


S (TBD) -  Strawberries (90) + Yogurt (120) = 221

D (TBD) - HMMMM I'll think of something = 300

S (TBD) - Oh man, hopefuly good choices = 150

Total planned = 1500

Exercise = 3 mile walk, leg exercise, some lifting perhaps

I'm guessing it didn't happen because you would have to find time to purchase the food you wanted to eat ? turkey sandwich is still low cal! I also bought some turkey deli meat as a change of pace too...

After a VERY long hiatus, I am returned to diet diaries! I see some familiar names :) But....after a couple of years of losing weight, gaining weight, and losing...I am back because writing it all down is easier than not.

A little bio: 

- My name is Sara. I love all things fatty, like cheese and peanut butter :P

- I am in the Army as a nurse! Soon to be civilian again

- Been with my fiance Daniel for many many years and come July 1 were finally getting married in NOLA! (Hes in the Army as well as a Field Artillery Officer).

- We live in louisiana at the moment.

- In the past year I've had two ankle surgeries, so running isn't my friend anymore but I love biking and hiking

- I have a german shepherd name blue who is my 2nd love (After Daniel).

- My goal is back to my 26 inch waist :)


So far, I've walked about 3 miles this morning....and ate about 1300 calories. I'm going to try to keep my daily intake to 1500 based on the amount I work out (so pretty much a low cal dinner tonight :/ ). Tonight still have my leg physical therapy and walking the dog. Hopefully dinner choices wont be terrible!

I'm happy to be back and I look forward to your entries!
