Since, I couldn't eat and sleep well today, I have decided to not to Join GYM.

Impact : Yes, my weight training schedule would be impacted. After a long long time, I started to see the impact on muscles.. Performance has definitly improved a lot in last 3-4 months.

Below is MHR versus Pulse Rate Meter For me.

I think, I need to feel happy today, as today my weight is 12 years low!!!.. I remember following as my weight.


1991 - Mar - 69 KG
1994 - Jul - 84 KG
1997 - Mar - 84 KG
1997 - May -

2000 - Jun - 84 KG
2003 - Jan - 84 KG
2005 - May - 106 KG
2006 - May - 105 KG

Note : Worked hard for a extreme sports trekking, and reduced 13 KG in 3 months in 1997. i.e. I was 71 in June'1997. But regained everything by August'1997. That means, I used to be 84 in Aug'1997.

Regular in GYM.  Today I was very tired in Gym. I think reason I didn't had the nice sleep yesterday and thus wasn't charged. So, didn't do the Aerobic while completed my weight schedule.

Before entering the Gym, I knew I was tired and could do either Aerobic OR Weights. I am curious to know, which one I should have adopted?. Aerobic only or Weights only?.

YEA!!! How wonderful to be at a 12 year low. That must feel great. I'm excited to be at a 1 year low. The cardio or weights question really can't be answered. If you are tired, maybe you should have just rested!

My Schedule Today (Total 1 Hour 30 Minutes) :

Warmup :

(1) 13 Minute Cycling : 143 Cal

(2) 5 Minute Cross Jogger : 55 Cal

Triceps :

(2) http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/Triceps/CBPushdown.html (3 & 4 KG)

(3) http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/Triceps/DBOneArmTriExt.html (2 KG)

(4) Another one, with Dumbell in Hand, and infront of mirror. He found some deformaty in my left hand.. Did that with 3 KG. But could be done with 4 KG.

Thighs :

(1) Free Squats. (20 times)

(2) Bench Press (8 plates)

(3) Leg Curl (3 & 4 Plates)


(4) Lying Leg curl (10 KG)



Threadmill :

20 minutes, variety speed and inclined. (170 Cal)

Streching and Cold Down:

Twist (Sitting, Standing), and Dumbells and Rod.



Piyush was against this. He said, this is a Back exercise?. He was wrong.

This weekend, I had gone to Mathura, and thus couldn't do gymming. Surprisingly I gound my weight to be increased to 185 lb (84kg) i.e. +ve 2 KG.. My view is, this is because of more of water in the body than anything else, as I have been drinking lots of water for past 3-4 days..

 Rest feeling great as usual !!.

Today on the weight scale, I found myself to be considerably less. All of sudden friends are pointing to me for reduced dimention. But I a am worried as Thigh & Butt Size is not coming down?..

Why is my Butt size still 41 Inch, while Tummy has been reduced to 35 Inch. Though I look better than before, but no reduction in Butt size is making me feel nervous.

Stamina and Fitness is surely improved, without any doubt.


Waist To Hip Ratio = 35/41 = 0.85 (For Man ideal is 0.90 or less for Pear Type Body). So Technically ok for me.

Waist To Height Ratio = 35/67 = 0.52 (For Man ideal is less than 0.49 is ideal, that means my waist should be less than 32.3)

BMI = 82/(1.71)^2 = 28

Way to go on the loss! Keep up the great work. I know what you mean about the whole butt/waist thing. Its happening with me too. I think the body just loses fat from different areas at a time. Like the face, the legs, the thighs, the stomach, and then the butt. Not particularly in that order, but yeh :) Don't lose hope.

i think it will all come off - but at different rates. you may want to research online what types of exercises you can do to help shape trouble spots.

Writing Diary after many days.

Went to Cycling Trip ~10th May for a week.

2 Weeks did Nothing.

2 Weeks I was on trekk to Roopkund, Bekham Taal, Hemkund, Mana, Kedarnath.


When checked weight today it was 83.8.. I am surprised and shocked, not much change inspite of those hikings to those wonderful heights.. May be Weight God is taking an examination of me.. It's really going slow. Feeling frustrated now!!.

Writing Diary after several days.

 I have been regular to my Gym and morning walks. In last week, I replaced morning walk with Gym few times.

I am not mentioning the schedule, as it's going very well.

 I Went to Chakrata along with my friend circle. Had lot's of fun, and returned back with positive energy and positive feeling. Wonderful walks, trekks and that too with friends... Aur kya chahiye masti karne ke liyen!!!..

Going Good.

Now Weight is 86.4 KG, and Stamina is improved. Now I am thinking to replace my morning walks with intense workout at Gym in Morning. That would mean twice a day to Gym!!. It' too hot outside, and It's no more fun, as there is no pain for me while walking. Very comfortable walks.

 So, as per Mr. Covert Bailey my Body is Physically fit for Walks for 10Km a day!!. Wow, that's a success, considering 6 months back, even walk of 1KM wasn't too easy!!.

Progress as of today: 40.93 lbs lost so far, only 31.77 lbs to go!
