Weather has turned very cold & windy..... Brings the spirits down a tad, but I can get some things done in the house when R goes to pre-school..... Have been entertaining the thought of biking a mile or so, then going on the Gazelle... Meg has school conference @ 1 p.m.

About time to till the garden spots and plan when/ what/ where to plant things.... Not going to have as many annuals in planters I know for sure.... Working outdoors is good exercise, but last year this time I was walking walking walking.... I need to get back to that, so the less "tending" to watering, etc...The more time I can dedicate to getting back in shape with the walking, etc. Working on the setting a resonable goal to reach by my 41st b.d. in May.. Shall clue you in when I decide (soon)

Not much else to say or report, other than the nighttime weakness is still a struggle to overcome... Need to get ready, set & just go with it... Being as disciplined as I know I can be....

Scrambled Eggs,Whole Grain Flax EM,LS V-8,Coffee

Fiber One Bar & Vitamins/Rxs (wasn't going to eat snack, but forgot to take my vits/rxs @ breakfast time)

Spaghetti Sauce (H.M. with Ground Turkey Breast).Didn't want to eat it with pasta, so tossed in some corn...Kinda like a noodless goulashy thing I guess....

Orville Micro Popper Popcorn

Finished cleaning the kitchen & I FOUND MY KEYS.  They have been missing for 2 weeks . Now I just need to run across the camera battery.... Have been on the go most of the day..Time to stop to tidy myself up for Bible Study.. Have a quick errand to run first too.... Going to try and post everyday again to help me stay on track..Today has went well so far and feels good to read some entries to get some mojojo (jojo is another nick name for me) vibes going in my "it-got-up-and-left-me behind" momentarily status.... Read where someone ate @ Subway and that sounds so good. Last time I ate a sandwich from there, I got so sick though..I'm still gunshy and don't need the sodium anyway... Going to eat some hot cereal for supper, but not sure which one yet.....

H2o = No less than 120 oz.

Much Love ~ Happiness ~ Success to YOU!

Progress as of today: 35 lbs lost so far, only 47 lbs to go!

have a good day!!! :) i love those fiber one bars!!! they are like candy!

Maria7 on 03/25/2009:
We're having rain over here. Hope you're having a nice evening.

nimony on 03/25/2009:
Not sure what your nighttime weakness is. Mine is eating while cooking dinner, hence eating 2 dinners. I recently found that a 150 cal packet of flavored instant oatmeal curbs that desire. Could always through some diced fresh fruit on top. Looks to me like you're doing a great job! Keep it up!

selina on 03/26/2009:
nighttime weaknesses, go away! hehe... that's my big problem too. Hang in there and have a great day!

starfish on 03/26/2009:
Have a wonderful day :-)

legcramps on 03/26/2009:
We had a horrible snow storm yesterday - it rained and then snowed all day long. I swear we got like 6 feet of snow ;). It's really nice out today, though, so I hope all that new snow will melt today and we'll end up having an 'okay' weekend. That would be great! Here's to an awesome weekend for you, too!

Friday ~ More clean-up of the back portion of our acre of land... Pruning, raking, etc... Wild Roses and such got a good "clip".... Worked on and hauled cedar fencing portions out from hiding that we've had for the last 3 years to do something with...The kids helped after my babysitting kids were gone home. We were exhausted & dirty by the time we came in...Eating was satisfactory for the whole day.

Saturday ~ Didn't sleep in... Needed to go to WalMart, but didn't...If you would of seen our "out back", you would understand it needs(ed) a LOT of cleaning up..Old pasture we have turned into a "catch all" of sorts... Weather was so beautiful & I got into doing more yard work. Put into action my idea  for the fencing. Ben helped me put up about 75-100' of  fencing ( I need to measure it)... It was in panels of 1x1 slats by 6-8' sections and is 7' tall... Bought it off of one of my aunt's neighbors.. 300' for $100 (score!)... Needs a few slats replaced. I have plenty extras to "mend" my fence .... Bruising started to show on my wrist (from whatever day that was I moved the boat). My tendonitis began to act up & eating was again satisfactory for the most part...

Sunday ~ After church, I had not choice but to go to WalMart, unless I wanted to say "oop's I forgot". Like I have been hearing A LOT of lately in the responsibility portion on my families part of pick up after yourself, etc.  -huhhum)Oh well, I shopped... Didn't have enough time to come home before music practice @ church (4p.m. ~ 6 p.m. church time). It was already 3:00 p.m. Living a ways out West, we decided to eat dinner out with the 45 minutes we had available... Went to a Chinese place. Had only eaten a english muffin for breakfast, Fiber One bar about noon... Had hubby drop Ben & I off to allow him time to come home to let the dogs out & put groceries away before 5:45.... Ate a bowl of cereal about 8:30 p.m... Bought a brace for my tendonitis...Much more comfortable than the one the Dr. office gave me (well, charged me for)....Trying to keep it from flaring up as bad as it did the time I needed a cortisone shot/potential surgery. Has been 1.5 years come April. It was due to having carpal tunnel surgery on the right wrist... Using my hands so much, I overused the left.. Least I'm not a sit still type person...   Between the surgery, tendonitis & semi-frozen shoulder in the last 2 years, I'm not sure much more could happen.. Finger-crossing,as I've never had any broken bones(displaced, but not broken) and entend to use my "smartness" (what I have of it) to keep myself from getting over-my-head as I work/clean....

Monday ~ Kids are only in school 3 hours/day all week. Conference time, then next week is spring break... At least the pre-schooler does have school as usual this week... Worked more outside & did a bit inside... Need to post pictures of the progress, but along with misplaving my keys 2 weeks ago, I now have misplaced the camera battery. Found the charger. Can't remember where I put the battery when I was looking for the charger... I need to S-L-O-W..... D-O-W-N....  Eating was satisfactory, yet again... Should of eaten oatmeal for supper, instead of spaghetti (healthy, but too much of it)....

My computer time has been drastically decreased this last couple weeks... In the change of time, weather & having to spend much of my days keeping to REALLY watching the 5 year old every moment... My free time I have, I'm utilizing the best I can and to see the changes outside are so rewarding... I need that time to release my tension & stress level of having to constantly be "on edge" 5 days a week & trying my best to work with a "special needs" child... I know I have been building muscle, working off calories, etc.... But I can also see the "grooming" of the yard coming together... Telling Ben (he mows) my goal is to just get into a maintenance mode... INSIDE as well... You know it is go outside to see what needs to be done to come inside and see the same... My thoughts are split on where to work first... So, I do a little of both... That too is a bad habit... Need to finish one 100% , then move to the other.... I'm learning still...

Tuesday~ Here I am... Not sure the agenda, as it has already been a difficult morning... Meg got punched in the stomach before she went to school... The 5 year old was "playing" ROBOTS. She told him she wasn't playing, cause she needed to ready for school, but he "made" her play or wanted her to.. To punch her was his way of "play"... I don't allow him T.V. time here, cause he can't determine what is real or pretend.. I have strongly suggested that his t.v. time be monitored or kaboshed, due to his behaviour when he does watch t.v.... I am doing all I know how to, but not getting cooperation or support from the parental side... My plan is to talk with "mom" about things and possibly (am planning on) telling her to find a 1/1 or professional childcare source for his care and soon...I can't expect my kids to constantly be on edge and gaurd their every move/word/action in THEIR home for fear of reaction...  I love this boy like my own, but cannot be his parent or allow the parent(s) to shirk their duties anymore... This is going to be hard, but necessary...I have eaten Shredded Wheat, English Muffin & drank a cup of coffee... My stomach is all in an uproar and the bathroom my friend... There you have the last few days and not sure when I'll post next...I'm just very busy in many areas.. I am planning on continuing keeping active & eating healthy.. Weigh-In will come sometime within the next 2 weeks...

Yesterday was a good day.... Was able to get the piles of brush, rose branches, tumbling tumble weeds & leaves pitch (hay) forked to the burn pile after all the boys went home and before music practice....At least waited til Ben could help me to move our tarp shed thingy.. One of those 10'X20' Costco kits... It was almost empty so we needed to move it out of the wind tunnel path... Not heavy, just ackward... Calories were burned again in the moving, shaking & raking....  Wanted to pull out the lawnmower to just go over a couple sections, but hubby informed me "work" needs to be done before it will run... Darn! I was on track with the eating, even though the 2 pieces of cake started the day... Had salmon & veggies for lunch, so that was much improved over the sandwich, chips & soda I had been having.... No hershey's miniatures on the run either..... Fiber One bars are a wonderful thing for me to have around I have learned... Drinking a big glass of water when I eat one... Favorite is the Berry, second is the Mocha one... I even received $1 off coupons for each box last time... .79 a box (they were on sale to boot)

Plan is to get outside earlier today than yesterday... I am a bit sore/stiff and my hands are swelled (not drinking enough H2o).... It feels good to be outdoors...

HAPPY SPRING!!!!!!!!!!!

Best be getting with doing something.... Weather is suppose to turn windy/colder this afternoon according to what I just heard on the weather report...Hubby is suppose to come home for dinner about noon... Has been working a bit closer to home this week.... My goal for today is to improve the menu even more than yesterday.... Starting off with oatmeal, cranberries & banana....

HAPPY SPRING!!!!!!!!!!

Thin, what you wrote to me has helped me more than you know...to have 'insight' into the gift the Lord has given to me in allowing me to be the one to look after Mom. Yes, I am a VERY patient person...most of the time (not always, though). And I do treat Mom like she is my little girl PRINCESS when we are together. Like today, we were looking in the thrift store and I told her to pick out a couple of shirts and I'd get them for her...(she didn't find anything that would do today)...and then I took her out to lunch... got her what she wanted (which happened to be a hamburger and onion rings and a banana and tea)....I feel very thankful. Her bd is coming up soon and I told her before I left her, that I am going to give her a bd party and to invite anyone she wants to invite. Yes, you are right, it is a GIFT.

And what a GIFT you are in that little boy's life (all of them) to keep him even though your patience is no doubt, tried sometimes. When reading in your yesterday's journal, I thought how wonderful it was that you were letting that little boy play outside without a worry about getting dirty (like kids SHOULD do!)...while you were out there with him, working in your yards, too! SWEET!!! :-)

For some reason, your picture at the top is not coming up when I pull up your entry...

This week has been busy with inside/outside task accomplishing..... Yesterday, I went outside in the warmer windless weather and got sucked into cleaning up leaves, etc.... I just went out there to do a little ya know.... Everytime I would come in the house, I would see all I still have to do in here, but eventually went back outside, casue it felt so good to get that fresh air.... T & I raked, pruned, hauled debris to the burn pile...He found the Tonkas eventually to abandon me in trade for the dirt pile/road ~LOL.... How dare he!... He was so dirty and tired by the time his dad got here, I loved watching him be a little boy..Reminded me of Ben when he was that age..Just content and in a world all his own with 4 wheels & dirt.... Priceless & doesn't cost a dime! Anyway, I unburied a 10 or 12 foot fiberglass boat from a pile of leaves... Not being too heavy, I got it moved, but was ackward...It shifted a bit (of course the wind had to come up for just that few moments I needed it to be still) as I was rocking it back/forth to where I was headed... Needless to say, I am a bit bummed up on my arms & a wrist..... Same wrist that had a heavy wood plainer fall on me last week.. Somoene had put it up on top of the freezer in the basement and didn't realize it was straddling the door..Of course, I opened the door, not knowing anything that heavy was up there, nevertheless it came down and whacked my wrist. Oh well, at least I'm functioning and getting things done in the mean time...Can't do hard work without a lil' pain/bumming up. I can't at least. Never have been able to.. It is called "I WANT IT DONE" NOW!!!!!! and I'll do it if I'm the only one here at that time... VERY BAD HABIT!.... Hubby was able to be home a bit early and I swiped his pruners... Um, I got into pruning and was a filthy mess from thorn lashing, raking & tripping over the occasional tree limb..... I was ignoring the clock really.... I didn't go to prayer meeting last night... The other 3 went, but I didn't have time to shower, etc.... I take a lot of work to get ready (hehehehehehehe)....

Eating habits could be a lot better, but could also be a lot worse.. I'm one when I get into cleaning, etc... I go go go go go and food is the last thing on my mind, til I am taking a break.. Everything is grab-n-go, then I don't feel satisfied... Need to take time to sit and eat better choices..... I made a "suprise" for the family on St. Patty's day... It was a jell-o cake (golden butter cake with green jell-o poured into holes made by a wooden spoon handle)... I also made a sinful frosting with cheesecake pudding mix & cool-whip..... Well, that cake has (had) been as much a thorn in my eating moreso than the thorns on the prunings that snagged me yesterday... I ate 2 pieces this morning...BAD GIRL!

T showed up 2 hours late today & the other 2 showed up early (again).... My schedule is so messed up when parents do this to me.... I have strongly hint dropped that they need to get it together and show up/pick up at consistent times, casue I'm all messed up in not knowing if/when to start personal tasks when I "think" I have time.... Tuesday, prime example... Was told that the brothers had appointments and wouldn't be here til after 10:30 a.m... T wasn't here til 9:00, so planned to sleep til 7:30 (time for Meg to get up)... I was awakened @ 7:10 by the sound of lil voices (Ben didn't lock the front door when he left for school)... AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! The mom missed the appointment on Monday she found out, but failed to call me to change the time of drop off for Tuesday.... I wasn't happy in being startled and shouted "You weren't suppose to be here!"... How embarrasing... I get scared whitless when I'm awakened from a deep sleep....Let alone come out in my jammies (thank goodness I had on a p.j. set) & hair stuck up to the hilt..... I think I startled her in my "shout" of being awakened like that... I didn't have time to think!.... So, schedules are going to be "set" and early/late fees assessed if things don't get ironed out. My eating that day was pitiful too...... I NEED TO GET BACK ON A SCHEDULE MYSELF.......Back to everyday making this a job of sorts......It is work!

In thankfulness of being allowed the health & muscle to accomplish things that need to be done and the safety that I'm provided in my being so stinking independant.....Burning calories along the way.... I will be moving along now and off to soak up some Vitamin D in another day of sunlight (I am deficient even though I'm an avid outdoor person), let  the lil voices of laughter tickle my ears as lil boys play with trucks/cars in the dirt & birds chirp in the trees, let the sight of a groomed yard (my goal for outside) put a skip in my heartbeat & whatever joys/happiness come along with the beauty of God's creation for however long I'm allowed to today..... Did I say burning calories along the way too.....? Just not adding them back to the count once their gone.... That is the goal I set for today! I WILL AND CAN DO IT!

I am sorry to hear about your wrist. Hope it is feeling better. Sounds like you really got a LOT accomplished outside!!! Bet it looks real pretty, too!

The golden yellow cake w green jello sure got me to IMAGINING what it looked like and tasted like (YUM!)... Maybe tonite at the supper, there will be something delish like that!!!!! :-)

I can just imagine you outside working and that sweet little boy having a wonderful time just being a little boy and playing outside with no worry about getting dirty! How sweet! Bet he really loves to come to your house!!!

Well, just about time to go to the ladies supper...want to get there a little early...I've been pretty good with cals today...but I usually do NOT do good when in the company of others eating. Seems that is when I think calories don't count! But I am going to try to do good. Enjoy your music practice! (We had ours Tues. nite, as you know.) BIG SMILE TO YA!!! :-D

All excited this morning to get Meg & I's fingernails painted a sparkly green....Got her all prettied up for class pictures...Hair curled & a nice green flower accented shirt.....Plffff!!!! Looked at the calendar and TOMORROW is GREEN day!....ACK! We all flubbed up, cause Ryder's even wearing green today....His mom made the same mistake! Oh well.... Too late to change Meg, as the bus was coming when I looked @ the calendar....

Having difficulties with my sinus' again.... I was fine til we walked out of church last night and all of a sudden I was plugged up and couldn't breath.... Allergies?... Who knows..It just isn't very fun..... Potluck last night and I kept myself behaved....... Fixed Mexican Lasagna,Biscuits,Peach Cobbler,Bowtie Macaroni Salad & some homemade Peach Habanero Butter for those hot food lovers to top their biscuit..... Ben ate peach cobbler for breakfast this morning. He feared it was going to disappear today.....It's his favorite...

I love Mondays!.... They are days to get back on track everywhere.... Weekends are so hectic for us in errand running, etc... They are gone before they even begin when I think about it... Not much going on, other than laundry, dishes, babysitting & taking Meg to her skating party tonight....My plan is to go shopping a bit @ Value Village across the street and let her skate 6:30-8:00 p.m. (ends @ 9:00 ~ too late!)She gets in free for reciting in order the old testament books of the Bible to her S.S. teacher yesterday... I would stay, but my kids are ALWAYS with me and need some "free time" without a parent...

Off to eat some breakfast ....I'm not all that hungry, but know if I don't eat, I will get over-hungry in a bit....I DON'T want that!

Feel your worth, keep on track & put a smile on your face!

I am doing much better with the no p.m. munching this last week.... Sticking with eating beans faithfully every day, even tried black beans with scrambled eggs one morning and I liked it.......Still working with the "flip" menu of sorts and eating oatmeal for supper most of the time.... Have used my Orville Redenbocker micro-popper twice & am so thrilled to have it.... The house is coming together nicely and today Meg & I will work on her new room.....

It has been one fast moving week.... Work week ended with the baby turning a year old yesterday...T wasn't here and it worked out perfect, as I had 2 cords of forest wood delivered..... Hadn't told hubby about it..I wanted to suprise him when he got home from a very long day @ work.... I stacked all of the wood and Ben split the huge pieces... Calories were burned!.... I was on the phone when hubby came in @ 8:00 p.m....He gave me a thumbs up.... Then he made my day ( I was already so thankful for the deal on the wood I was able to get).... He said I saw that stacked wood and thought what a beautiful sight, then I come in the house to see another beautiful sight sitting in her recliner on the phone..... I downplayed it (bad habit), but did accept it at least for a change.....As I get back into my healthier living pattern, I am learning to accept compliments, due to feeling worthy of them as I am feeling healthier in choices.... I am so thankful for many things in our life and how our needs are met.... In prayer!

Kids & I are going to town here in a bit, then heading to grandma's house to help her figure her t.v. converter box...She went home yesterday and is now "on her own" again... 90 years old!

I am not going to be as strict about listing my menu & activities..  I will briefly go over each day that I come to DD and admit if/when I flub up..... In all honesty 1.5 weeks ago the scale registered 210 when I stepped on them before getting in the shower... That was pre-TOM.... This morning they read 203.... I am back on my way to <200 and the feeling of "never to return" once that is achieved.... The daylight savings has been a "savings" to my mentality, as I can enjoy it after my work day has ended and have some quietness in whatever it is I do in that daylight..... I am also reading daily again....Have read my Bible, but also have begun reading a chapter a day(evening) of "Diets STILL don't work" (haven't read anything yet that I didn't already feel) & also an extra short daily devotional... Having a seperate room to relax and kick back in to read is pleasurable... I best get with it, as time is ticking away..I slept in a tad and now feel way behind....

I MADE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!...... NO munching after I ate supper..I ate the salad & a couple bites of my families supper of Pot Roast & Potatoes... About 10:00 when hubby finally made it home, I was seriously thinking about eating a bowl of cereal..... Nope!...Didn't eat it and this morning I'm so glad I didn't..... The feeling of "I made it" came over me like it used to..... Whew!.. Not a spectacular day with eating the "sweets" mid-day, but combatted the most troublesome time lately for Tuesday at least.... Onto Wednesday!

Vacuuming, dusting & laundry are on the agenda today when I get  "window(s) of opportunity"...... Kids & I are on our own I'm sure for Bible Study... We are in mode of me being a "frost season widow"... Hubby working super long hours and time only enough for a hi/bye in passing when he does get to come home..... Best get with it...Boys are here...

Egg/Egg Whites,Healthy Nut EM,Grapefruit, Coffee (1/2 c.1%/ TBS. S.F. Vanilla)

Fiber One Bar, Diet W.C. Pepsi (super cold ~ kept in the car @ 16 degrees-YUM!)

I am revved up & ready to go...... Feeling like things are coming together in the transitions of the house & in my eating...Feeling empowered (at least at this moment & positive in outlook) to continue in how I've been going since Monday in the house til done... Usually by now I would of lost steam in what I have been trying to accomplish, due to it being a bit overwhelming. Amazing how the food & mood go hand in hand...BTW ~ Have 2 pots of beans going... Black & Pinto.. Enchilada pie for my families supper and not sure what I'm having yet... Sun is shining so bright, candles lit to give a whiff of freshness, cause it's too cold to open the doors/windows....

Progress as of today: 35 lbs lost so far, only 47 lbs to go!

In answer to your last nite's question about popcorn, yes, I still eat popcorn and like it a lot. It has a lot of fiber in it. I sometimes use my air-popper and sometimes I make it using oil on the stovetop. Yesterday I bought a box of 100 cal packs (10 in a box) of Orville Redenbacher (sp?) and had popcorn last nite. I like the buttered flavor. Hope you're having a nice morning. :-)

Maria7 on 03/11/2009:
Congratulations to you on making it through without giving in yesterday!!!!

Orange flowers are very pretty!!!

I'm fixing to make breakfast but going to try to make it 'light'.

Maria7 on 03/11/2009:
Do you have your wood stove going?

Yay, little by little we get back on track. My "i did it" of the day was dance class. :) xo

hollybelle on 03/12/2009:
Yay - no night snacking - hold on to that feeling.

Maria7 on 03/12/2009:
Really missed your entry today but everyone needs a break sometimes. Take care.

Maria7 on 03/13/2009:
I used to have quite a collection of 'old-timey' clocks...collecting them was something I loved to do at that time...mostly cuckoo clocks....but I also collected other unusual clocks like musical clocks (one or 2 of the cuckoo clocks were also musical)...I must have had about a dozen cuckoo clocks in our bedroom. They'd cuckoo on the hour /and/or play music. When company came over, they were VERY SURPRISED hearing them on the hour, whilst Hubby and I had gotten so accustomed to hearing them that we'd gotten in the habit of paying them no or either very little attention. We even slept well at nite through their cuckooing! I sold them later on but still have 2 cuckoo battery-run clocks, one in the living room and one in the kitchen. What started my interest in clocks was my Grandma, who we lived next door to when I was growing up. Everywhere she went, you could hear TICKING!!! She kept a big Ben clock, wind up kind, in her apron pocket (didn't wear watches) and so when she wanted to know what time it was, she'd reach into her apron pocket and look at her clock. She also had a very old, old, old mantle clock (wedding gift, I think) that she kept on her kitchen buffet hutch and she allowed me to wind it (with her watching and coaxing me to be careful to NOT overwind!) when I'd come over. She left that clock to me and it is in our dining room. We also have a very tall grand-daddy clock in the living room that I OVERWOUND and broke the spring!!! Been a few years ago and still haven't had it fixed.

If you'd lived nearby, we could have called and offered y'all this oakwood from these trees that were taken down last week. Good wood. We have a fireplace but when we use it, we use gas. I talked to Hubby (who prefers to use gas) about fixing the fireplace back like it was before the gas line was installed so we can burn wood and he says no, that it wouldn't be safe now that it was changed w a gas line going through the bottom of the inside of the fireplace.

Well, guess I'll go before I write you a book. Hope you're having a nice day!

Hey thanks for stopping by to "see" me:-)

No, no vacation, but I kept getting thwarted when I made an entry--it would end up with the paragraphs switched around, so I never got back to it--figuring I'd have to start from scratch. I'll get back to it here soon!

All those things really add up over time--keep up the good work!

Horn_Of_Plenty on 03/14/2009:
good job not munching tonight!

omahagrl on 03/14/2009:
Hope all is well. Missing you!

Thinnie is doing terrific of a day & horrible at night..... Old habit that must stop before it becomes routine again...... So busy yesterday and I was tired when I finally sat to eat... I know I have been organizing for what seems to be an eternity, but have had to make some drastic changes in the schematics of our rooms to accomodate my caring for a child with autism.... If I don't do something and NOW, I will not be able to care for him much longer......Not sure that I still can, but going to give it my best shot....  Testing last week has revealed that all of R's senses are "off"... That explains a lot of his violent behavior for the last 3 years (that are getting worse).... The changes made yesterday alone are good ones for ALL of us....I burned several calories I know in moving furniture & up/down basement stairs.  Plus I took the bike for a 1.5 mile stationary ride....YIPEEEEE!!! My bike & Gazelle now have a home outa the living room too..... YIPEEE!!! No walk like I wanted to, but it came snow & time was of the essense to utilize wisely....Stupid enough was even though I know I burned those calories & was extatic to ride that bike...I undid it by "snacking" til bedtime..... Boo Hiss!!!!

More of the same to be done today when/as I can....Having the kids home yesterday helped me in being able to get a bulk of the changes made that were biggest tasks...... Best be getting some breakfast to fuel my fire......

Coffee, Healthy Nut EM, Banana, 60 cal Yogurt

PBJ on thin Bread, 60 cal Yogurt, CherryCutie Pie

4 Tootsie Pop Drops (no stick)

Been working pretty much non-stop and the house is clean, but chaotic if that makes sense..... Have one more room to transition into Meg's room.... I even cut off the legs of an old wooden farm table we had to make a nice coffee table and put in our new "family room" (formerly Meg's room)....Spring/Easter decored to boot!!!  Her now bedroom will be smaller, but the changes I've made are going to work so well and our "family room" is cozy to where all of us can utilize it, whereas the living room wasn't functioning well for the daycare kids AND my kids anymore..... The living room is where the little kids always want to be, cause they can see me at all times...They even follow me to the bathroom (whatcha doin'?)... Needless to say much furniture moving again today (including my upright piano), but I used my legs, not my back....like they tell you to (I sqwatted & pushed with all my might..back against it)..BUT, not being planned out and having foods wanting to be quick (not salmon, salad, etc)...It has been grab-n-go between kid's naps & meals/snacks as you can see..... SALAD for supper!!!!! and only popcorn after I eat supper if I am munchy.... Biking/Gazelling while watching B.L. if I don't have a matress fall on me while making moves first.... I'm laughing!.... All of this stuff is effecting my eating habits in the "hurry", but also burning calories...  I need to utilize the calorie burn and not ruin it in eating "sweets"..... DARNIT! I will go ahead and make enough salad tonight for tomorrow's dinner.... PLANNING!!!!!

Chix Salad (Lettuce, Tomato,Cucumber,Chickpeas, L.F. Cheese, Wishbone Lite Ranch)

Orville Redenbocker Micro Bowl Popcorn (first try)

H20 = No less than 120 oz.

I now bedtime is my worst time! I sometimes try to trick myself inot going to sleep only to wake up suddenly and rush downstairs for a 100 caloric pack of something or other.

hollybelle on 03/10/2009:
Just remember (about the night time eating) it's always darkest just before dawn - stay strong in the dark of the night!! You can do it.

grumpy on 03/10/2009:
me too, i start the day well and end baaaadly! i am thinking of doing that 5 day sambu cleanse again, where you eat very limited things for 5 days, but after that you get rid of the cravings, and i think it will be easier for me to get back on track. xoxo

grumpy on 03/10/2009:
also, when do you weight in again? if you're a little off track, dont wait too long between weighting ins, so if there's damage it's easier to control it while its smaller. :)

Maria7 on 03/10/2009:
Nitetime eating....uh!!! I know what you mean!

loveray on 03/10/2009:
Yea the end of the day can get difficult if you dont plan for it! Its really all a habit...once the body expects the extra treat I think it starts to need it...I love you, hang in there! xoxo

I wanna nap!.... Daylight savings & busy weekend are making me feel a bit sluggish.... It's a chilly 17 degrees, but the sun is shining.. Suppose to be a nice day... Walking is on the agenda A.S.A.P. after the boys go home...Did get to go a little yesterday... Headed out to walk to the church house for music practice... Started up the hill to have it start snowing.. Came back home, but kept my NEW shoes on (yes!!!. gotta love new shoes ~ as long as it's not muddy, then I have to wear my others).. People were running late for practice, so I went 4 laps around the parking lot... Then took about 15 trips up/down stairs with Meg....Huff-n-Puff from being outa shape, but we made it....  Hated to change my shoes, but I did..

Lots to get done today... Kids are out of school for tri-mester break & I have all 3 boys to babysit.... Looking forward to the second day of extra daylight..

Horn_Of_Plenty on 03/09/2009:
you are def not the only person who felt sluggish on Monday. my entire class (lol, the 9 of us) were off the wall. but not with energy. ready to pass out off the wall! it may have been the heat that we had no control over and couldn't shut off!

Getting ready to go to WalMart & someplace to find a new pair of tennis shoes (walking).... My exsisting shoes are so muddy that I'm unable to wear them at any other time than when I walk.....

Sounds like you've had a nice day. Yep, gotta get up an hour earlier tomorrow morning! Our Sunday School (I teach) starts at 9:30am so will be really 8:30am and we get there earlier than that. Hubby has to work tomorrow (usually off Sundays) so I will be going without him (boo-hoo!)...hope you and yours have a good nite. :-)

Horn_Of_Plenty on 03/08/2009:
enjoy your new shoes! :)

CritterMom on 03/08/2009:
Sometimes you've just got to have that "something crunchy" to snack on. Glad to hear it didn't undo the rest of your day.

omahagrl on 03/08/2009:
Good for you with buying yourself a plant. I have decided this weekend that I spend so much money on things that I do not need and just ways that I should not. Starting this weekend I am going to make a point to take care of more of me. I love the smell of flowers so this is the first treat..after my wonderful massage. I also will put $20 a week aside so I can get a massage once a month. I felt incredible yesterday and still do today! I am going to walmart this afternoon as I need to get syringes for reno and will do a little shopping. Have a grreat day

Horn_Of_Plenty on 03/08/2009:
you've reminded me that i CAN use a new pair of shoes because they are so much more supportive and comfortable. i just don't want to pay for them! ....usually i have two pairs...one nicer whiter pair for school/work and then i wear the dirtier pair outside of work. lol.
