i have a room with no micro priveleges.. i just started my diet so who knows, but you can get a rice cooker.. sold at most department stores.. in it, you can cook up some broths.. make your own soups.. tofu.. add anything in there.. all you have to do is fill it with water and press the button...water will boil.. you can make a lot of things in there.. or, when i go out to eat (the few random times) order like a BIG salad with the dressing on the side.. then dip your salad and take the rest home <> you can do that with any other entree too.. 2 meals in 1!!
