What do you think is a healthy weight loss? The people on biggest loser lose weight very quickly but I have read that weight loss that quickly isnt healthy. There are several on here that have lost 25 to 100 or more Like Kathyblue. Just wondering. I am hoping to lose 2 to 4 lbs a week. Is that a good goal?

It depends on your weight. The bigger you are, the more you can lose weekly

It is healthy to lose about a pound to 2lbs a week. It gets unhealthy when it’s over that amount, but it really depends on how much you have to lose to begin with. It is good to be in a calorie deficit of 500 calories a day, because 3500 calories equal a pound of fat. So it is better to lose slowly than quickly because you can gain just as quickly as you lost it. It is healthy to change your mindset, make good habits and to stick with them. Also do things that are fun because you will stick with them that way. In addition to eating foods you like, you do t have to get rid of everything you like to eat. Keep some of your favorite foods for days you want to have a treat.
