Family Info (spouse, kids, pets):
How do you feel about yourself, your weight, your decision to change? I want the good that I have on the inside to shine though.
How long have you been overweight? No longer overweight. Was only at the higher end when i stopped my routine and couldn't cope well with life changes. Whenever i keep my gym routine, that's all the battle. Food is always better when i am working out compared to having even more time at home to eat.
What things have you tried before to lose the weight? counting calories and exercise = the way that works best for me. but, as I have learned this year, the type of foods we eat are quite important too - having a balanced diet is important. It's just not the quantity that matters, but also the QUALITY. This is something hard for me, as in the past I wouldn't care what quality the food was - fake, artificial, diet...I loved them as long as calories were low or none at all. diet drinks galore. but the truth is, these are the foods/drinks that harmed me and helped me in getting past injuries. these are the things I am working to eliminate / have less of in my diet now.
What is the number one reason you want to lose weight? I care about the way i look both in and out of clothing. I like putting on clothes for work and knowing they fit. Going into a store and being happy to buy something new bc i like the way i look in the clothes. The feeling of being light on my feet...all things that help me stay positive.
What are some other reasons? To look professional around others & be able to have a career that requires fitness and health.
What is your goal weight? 110-112lbs - I'm 5'2
What is the first thing you want to do when you reach your goal? I will celebrate with nice clothes and decide how I feel about that weight and make other dietary/exercise/lifestyle changes as I see fit. Celebrate!
Are the people closest to you supportive? If not, why? They are.
What is the worst thing about being overweight? This worst thing about not weighing what i'd like to is not fitting into clothes well!...and also a feeling of not reaching my full potential!
What is the best thing about you? If I want something bad enough, I'll go above and beyond to accomplish it!
How will losing weight affect those around you? Most will probably support it and some will not.
On a scale of 1 to 10 (low to high) how determined are you to reach your goal? 10
