Family Info (spouse, kids, pets): I have been with my husband for 17 yrs, married for 13 yrs....he is my best friend! We have two wonderful children together, an 11 yr old daughter and 8 yr old son. 3 yrs ago, we had no pets, but we quickly changed that....now we have one amazing dog, 1 hamster and 3 rats (yes rats, they really are friendly and smart little rodents!)

How do you feel about yourself, your weight, your decision to change? Right now I'm not happy with any part of my body really. Excited about getting back on track with exercise and trying to curve my bad eating habits.....AGAIN!

How long have you been overweight? I only recently hit the "overweight" range for my age and height. This is the first time in my life I've ever been in this category and I'm not very happy with myself for allowing my weight to get this out of control. I'm only actually 5 lbs away from my "normal" weight range but I'd prefer to be at the lower end of that range....not the top! Most of my life I was very tiny, I crave those skinny days...and my skinny jeans :(

What things have you tried before to lose the weight? Always been in and out of gyms and exercise has always played a roll. Changing my eating habits is my bigger challenge. I don't want a diet, I know I just need to eat more sensibly and eat smaller portions. I have lost 20 lbs here before by counting calories, exercising regularly and cutting out my evening snacking.

What is the number one reason you want to lose weight? Health but it's also nice to feel better about your appearance. I would like to fit back into my "skinny" clothes.....refuse to buy to much in the bigger sizes because I don't plan to stay there.

What are some other reasons? Energy!! Being a mother of 2 children leaves me feeling constantly tired and I've always had problems sleeping. I know I can do this because I did it successfully in 2007. This time I have to be more motivated to "maintain" my weight loss once I've achieved it!

What is your goal weight? 115 - 120 lbs

What is the first thing you want to do when you reach your goal? Go shopping :0) I really miss "enjoying" trying on clothes!

Are the people closest to you supportive? If not, why? My husband is because he knows I'm cranky if I'm unhappy with my weight. Everybody else thinks I'm nuts and I don't need to loose any weight...or at least that's what they say because they don't want to offend me. Anyway, I do it to make myself happy and to feel more comfortable with myself.

What is the worst thing about being overweight? Lack of energy and motivation is very frustrating to me! I also find myself avoiding many social events because I don't want anyone to see me right now. Plus, I have nothing much to wear and don't want to give into buying alot of "larger" clothes.

What is the best thing about you? I'm a good listener and I love people. I'm a big goofball so I make people laugh! I love family and friends (that's the important stuff) I love being a mom!!!

How will losing weight affect those around you? I don't think it will effect those around me, except for maybe my husband who has to live with me and all my moods :0) Feeling better about myself would make me a more confident and happier person over all! I would definetly get back to being more social and active as well.
