How do you feel about yourself, your weight, your decision to change? I yo yo with my weight far too often. Not healthy. Every time I gain/lose/gain it gets harder and harder to get the weight off and also I get loose skin that refuses to tighten up. We travel often and that's normally when I gain the most.
How long have you been overweight? Off and on since I was in my late 30's. Have been thin several times though - age 40/41, again age 45, age 50, was also very close to my ideal weight when I was 57 and getting ready to come home from Uganda. Hit goal weight just before I turned 60. Have gained again though.
What things have you tried before to lose the weight? Age 50 I did weight watchers points system. Worked well. Joined a gym. I don't do fad diets or unhealthy diets. Otherwise, I just cut out junk and ate healthy or counted calories.
What is the number one reason you want to lose weight? My health and fitness. Turned 60 in Feb 2012 and want to avoid become frail as I age!
What are some other reasons? I hate photos of myself when I'm fat. It's more comfortable to be smaller, clothes fit better, easier to get a comfortable bra. Just want to be comfortable. I don't need to be skinny, I'm too old for it anyway. Skinny old women look awful, shows all their wrinkles and their neck sags....yuck.

What is the first thing you want to do when you reach your goal? Stay there!!

What is the worst thing about being overweight? Feeling unfit, having to wear fat clothes, tight waistband, having to wear an underwire bra
